The stay was overall amazing and exceeded our expectations. Dinner was gorgeous, top quality food, especially the Brie and Parma ham bruschetta and steak. Our bedroom was a good size and nicely decorated with a beautiful view over the Loch. The bar area was nice although not open very late. There was a fire lit on our second night which gave it a lovely atmosphere. The owner was lovely and worked very hard to keep everyone happy

The outside impression of the hotel is poor. Curtains are drawn in a lot of unused communal rooms and window frames could do with an update. Only problem we encountered with food was the breakfast of scrambled eggs and salmon on toast was served with poor quality toast for the price. More chairs in the bar area would be good

The room was at the front of the property overlooking Loch Ern, what a fantastic view, the 4 poster bed was very comfortable, a good selection of teas / coffee/ hot chocolate were with the kettle. there was also a pod coffee maker with a selection of coffees. The continental breakfast was very good possibly the best we had tried during many trips throughout the UK. Quality produce ( hams, cheeses) were available and the homemade granola was so tasty, bowls of fresh fruit ( strawberries, raspberries and blue berries) were a nice accompaniment for the granola as was the yogurt. Susan and her staff made us very welcome, would definitely return.

The staff made our weekend extra special. Sue the director was so accommodating and friendly, she went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Frankie the waitress was very attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing and the chef created dishes that were super tasty, the menu was varied and included his own recipes. Mark in The Larder shop gave us great information about the loch as we were venturing out on Kayaks. The room was comfortable and we had a great view of the loch. The bar with an open fire was a welcome sight after being on the loch. I cannot fault The Four Seasons Hotel as they made our stay very memorable.

Although the heating was not on until the 1st of October, Sue gave us a heater for the room which made it lovely and warm and allowed us to dry out our equipment after kayaking. A mirror above the dressing table would help as the mirror on the bathroom door was too far away from a plug socket for a hairdryer. Other than that it was perfect.

Stayed in chalet beautiful view of the loch,cosy chalet extremely nice manager/staff lovely food but bit pricey ,sleeps 3 if needed single bed in separate room table outside to have your morning coffee ,chairs in wardrope ,kettle coffee/tea etc and hairdryer ,Beatles stayed in this chalet in 1964,drinks reasonable price

Heater s on a timer we were at a wedding so late back room was cold,forgot to say needed more milk pots for room at breakfast which you have to do as well as if you want towels changed etc ,luckily there is a nice cafe/shop 5/10 minute walk away so got milk from there

Warm, friendly, cosy, attentive and super dog friendly chalet option..We were welcomed as a very last minute two night booking for a dog-friendly, superior chalet and also arriving after hours. We received helpful messages after that from owners to explain the check-in procedure and how best to get there by car. In our chalet, there was a very thoughtful printout that was personalised and considered our faithful companions which was a very nice and homely touch. In terms of the chalet we had Loch Earn in view infront and option to sit out day time with table and chairs. Cosy chalet with old-fashioned charm and very pretty water views ... famous guest history too of course!... Booking.com Genius discount made this a real two-night treat. Owners were super warm and friendly checking if we needed breakfast and dinner. Excellent walking options. Unfortunately we did not have time to try breakfast or go to dinner but husband did enjoy a pint at bar and takeaway Wagu burger and chips that he very much enjoyed. When dogs needed out we popped them on leads and headed a short walk - there are short/long walk options. Wise to bring a torch.. Liked that there was a fridge. The area of space worked for the rwo of us and dogs. Village store open day tine, coffee nice and nearby village has great Deli and Bakery. Other shops too. Creiff chippy useful for late evening journey, closing at 10pm. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

Dog friendly chalet suited us and our 2 x sports dogs but step has slight drop front and bigger at back patio that might be a bit too steep for someone else/dog. We always come armed with old towels etc to put down with having active dogs but an entrance mat might be a handy addition. Shower was great for us (once we realised it needed switched on beforehand - not a problem for us but maybe worth noting). Small points when in such a stunning location.

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, always there to answer any questions. Super dog friendly and always stopped to say hello to Duke with a wee treat for him. The food in the restaurant is absolutely wonderful, it's well presented and delicious. Free fishing on Loch Earn in the hotel ground at the fore shore straight across from the hotel, I managed to catch( 4 trout and 1 large eel) in 3 hours of fishing 👍. All in all a super friendly and welcoming hotel that we will definitely return too.

Loved its secluded surroundings. It was exactly what we were looking for after a very busy and stressful few months. Very clean and comfortable, and well heated. Staff were very pleasant and approachable. Perfect for what we needed 😊

Not so much something I didn't like, but it would have been handy to have some sort of cooking equipment provided, especially at this time of the year when the restaurant was closed as amenities a little out the way. On saying that, we were offered light snacks (sandwiches and burgers)thing like that, and the bar was opened. It's probably just a preference for me more than a necessity.

Lovely friendly staff. Very dog and family friendly. The takeout menu was useful if you didn't want a sit-down meal, but you wanted to grab something quickly after a day out. The location is excellent, we had a four poster bed overlooking the loch. The staff were brilliant, so friendly and helpful and very dog friendly!

You could hear the rooms next door and people outside on the landing. The floorboards were quite creaky - because it's a lovely old building. The place could do with some modernising and updating but overall it was lovely and clean.

How could you not love a place where you're greeted at reception by a black Lab named Finn? A harbinger of things to come, this lovely hotel was all we wanted and more. The highlight, of course, is the stunning view over Loch Earn -- no matter what the weather, it's a gorgeous sight to behold -- but the hospitality is splendid and the room comfortable and spacious. Owner and hands-on manager, Sue, is another highlight as she's warm and welcoming, informed about the region and very selective with her selection of Scotch whiskeys behind the bar, of which we indulged every evening. As other reviewers have mentioned, the Four Seasons shows signs of age in its facilities but none that detract from the remote beauty, warm welcome, and comfortable lodging in this special spot.

The hotel was a little tired in parts and we thought the food was very expensive albeit very nice. Sue was a great host but there was a lack of staff around at times.
