The location was good, close to everything we needed. The room was very tidy, comfortable, well decorated with good amenities . Our host, Sandra was very friendly, very helpful and considerate of our needs as Seniors. We were in an attic with many stairs which was overcome when Sandra arranged for her son, John, to carry our heavy luggage up and down the tricky stairs, very much appreciated. Although parking is quite limited, Sandra made available a spot for us at front of unit.

We were very happy with our stay in Sandra’s, Maison Dieu Guest House in Dover, and have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone wishing to stay in Dover.

The location was great, 10 minutes walking distance from the station. The room was very clean and well maintained, perfect for a short visit. Gowns with slippers were provided, coffee and tea included with hot water, and there was a sink in the room with towels. A fan was available in case it got hot. Perfect room. The owner Sandra was very sweet, professional, and welcoming, and guides were available to help you check the activities in dover.

The room i booked included a private bathroom, which was outside the room. A key will be given to you to access the bathroom which is just across the room. This was not an issue, and the bathroom was big and veryyy clean. Also, the room was on the third floor accessible by stairs only.

Everything you needed for a short stay! It was very pleasant 😊 it had all the amenities that you could want really. Very nicely laid out. We would definitely stay again!

The room was quite warm when we had arrived (of course this is not the owners fault as the weather was warm) maybe the window could’ve been opened a touch more with the curtains drawn to keep the heat out a bit! (The room was on the top floor). The fan became our best friend. The parking is a bit tight, especially if people don’t park properly. However, it was good enough for us!

Location is so close to Dover Castle & the shopping district, so very handy for walking around.

Was not aware that we had to contact the owner prior to arriving to be able to drop the bags off as we arrived early & it was raining & the owner was in the process of cleaning the rooms. I don’t believe I saw anything about this on booking.com otherwise I would have made arrangements directly with the owner beforehand.

What a lovely and heartwarming welcome. The Room was a bit small but as mentioned in the description. The host is a very lovely and friendly lady and makes everything possible to make your stay a great experience. Private parking available. Public parking and EV Charging on the opposite side of the street. Tasty and rich breakfast with everything you want

The personal bathroom wasn't in the room but accessible by the staircase.

Family room was great, comfortsble beds with a private bathroom. Great location within walking distance of everything. The host went the extra mile when my son left hi hat in the room, she quickly caught up to us to return the hat, thank you :)

Parking on the property is limited, we had to park across the road in a paid parking zone, free parking after 6pm-8am.

We were greeted very friendly and the check in was quick. The owner gave us recommendation for a place to eat. She was also available on our second day when we needed an extra towel after going to the beach. We also loved the cute owl details in the room.

There could be more storage shelfs and hooks on the bathroom.

Nice little place. Our room looked out over neighbors gardens as well as a great view of Dover Castle. Owner was superior! Kind lady that was always there to greet you and offer any help she could. Location was great. We were able to walk up to Castle by nearby footpath. Also close to market and restaurants. Just a block away from bus stop to take us to Canterbury.

Room was small. Three twin beds and dresser filled up room, so not alot of space.

Maison Dieu Guest House was at a perfect location for walking to the Cliffs, Castle, beach and town. Sandra, the owner of B&B, was an excellent host! I would highly recommend staying at Maison Dieu Guest if you are looking for accommodation with a personal touch.

I have had nothing I didn't like. I had a wonderful stay in Dover because of Sandra's excellent hospitality! I would rebook at Maison Dieu Guest House, if I ever revisited Dover England.

The location was great. We easily walked to the castle, the St. James shopping area, the pier area, and the train station. Sondra was great. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

It was a small room for a family of 4 and our luggage. A set of bunk beds instead of two twin beds would have freed up more space. We did not reserve breakfast ahead of time, and were told when we got there that cash was the only way to pay for it, which we did not have enough of.
