The owner was lovely and told us of places to visit. We did that and had our evening meal out. We thought from the photos of the grange-a large property, that there would be gardens to walk around but there were none, or rooms to look around. There was only the breakfast room and a very large lounge to sit in although the French doors were open. Our room and en-suite were large and immaculate. We slept well, the bed comfortable, and we chose continental breakfast which was nice from the buffet table. A cooked breakfast was offered.

We would have liked more fresh fruit choices. As we were the only guests in at breakfast the TV or radio on would have made a bit more of an atmosphere, we felt like we were whispering.

Very comfortable and spacious accommodation, immaculately clean and in a very pleasant and remote location. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was both comprehensive with great variety. In the room there was plenty of tea and coffee provided together with bottled water and a couple of biscuits. There was plenty of storage for clothing and a view of the front garden.

The building façade looks a bit "tired" and could do with a facelift. The room was very comfortable but the floorboards creaked in places so it was difficult to move silently at night. I was disturbed a couple of times by the loud sound of (I presume) motorised lawn mowers and a nearby combine harvester but other than that, the hotel was very peaceful

It was a lovely space, room was very accurately advertised and spacious. Lovely big windows and bathroom! The staff were also lovely at all times of the day and kindly allowed us to check in early for a wedding nearby, as well as order breakfast first thing in the morning as we forgot when running out for the wedding. The breakfast was also very lovely.

Wish the lock on the room door was slightly more secure but it wasn't that much of an issue!

We arrived earlier than stated & our rooms were ready so the host kindly let us check in. Lovely area, nice & quiet & we had a great view from our room. Stayed for a friend's wedding that was at Rockbeare Manor which was a 5 minute taxi ride. The breakfast was good & the room was very comfy & clean.

The only negative I have is that the decor is a bit out dated but it did give the room a cosy, boutique feel. Also it wasn't too easy to get a taxi initially, we did find a local company but the fare was pretty pricy for the distance we were travelling! However they were very accommodating with us.

Welcome was prompt and friendly. The room, although initially cold, did warm up a bit. We had a reasonable night's sleep after ordering a sandwich made to order through the owner, which we enjoyed with our tea. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fine with a full English type menu available. The cost of a night's B & B at £100, was value for money. The owner, was very nice.

Not really anything, having factored in cost and what was available.

Very welcoming staff, very accommodating. Nice room with lovely garden and country views.

Really nothing, did take a long while for hot.watwr to come through but that may be as we were the only ones on that side of the property which was so considerate of the owners as we'd asked for a quiet room as had travelled right across the country and had a family funeral the next day. Only other downside was that a long handled feather duster for the high up cobwebs would be good.

Bed was very comfortable and room was a good size with lovely wide windows letting in a lot of natural light. The staff were super friendly. Breakfast was honest with eggs cooked to order, nice and simple. Very little food waste which is always great to see. Hot drinks are available throughout the day if requested.

Decoration is very dated, it can be off putting at first however this doesn't diminish the quality of the cleanliness, comfortability and hospitality.

Good location, close to the festival we were attending. Nice, clean, light, airy and spacious room. The breakfast was good, freshly cooked for you and a good selection. The staff were very pleasant especially the man who was lovely and chatty.

The car park at side. Coming back late at night it would be good if there was some light - maybe a security light at side that activates when walk towards the house.

Very quiet location and ideally situated for a wedding we were attending. We were able to check in earlier so we could get ready for the wedding. The owner kindly dropped us off at the wedding venue for a small fee and recommended a taxi firm for the evening. We didn't really spend much time in our room or hotel to comment on the facilities. But as quiet location we had a good nights sleep and breakfast was lovely. Friendly staff.

Nothing to add.

Friendliness of all the staff. If they were able to accommodate a request they would. Location and setting great for us. Hot breakfast was great albeit you had to order what you wanted the night before and time of breakfast was limited. Bed was comfortable.

The bed moved over a little bit away from window to create more space when walking by wardrobe and dressing table to avoid catching toes on wooden block on bedframe. No facility to dry towels to support eco environment so we had to have our towels changed every day.
