Everything was more than perfect. Squeaky clean, comfy bed, modern bathroom, mini fridge, kettle, plenty of tea or herbal tea bags, coffee machine, Netflix, a small desk and a lovely genuine old school chair. Large private car-park. Very quiet, even when the pub is busy. Olivia and her husband are very friendly and anticipate our needs. Bottle of water and also milk in fridge. I didn’t have the opportunity to try the restaurant but the fresh line-caught sea bass on the menu was very tempting! Outstanding walks over the cliffs to Hastings. Attending the monthly book club on the Wednesday was the icing on the cake! Most highly recommended!

Great apartment above a great pub with good drink selection and simple but good food. Ideal for accessing wider area, beaches and towns such as Hastings. Staff was friendly and helpful. Apartment was very clean, in good condition and well equipped.

Not much, although some breakfast could be included for the price (even if not fresh. Some pastries and fruit?). Blankets were too thick for summer temperatures. Immediate location a bit odd in the middle of a residential area, with no shops, but no problem with a car.

An easy check in with the host Olivia, who was welcoming and friendly, excellent communication beforehand (I only booked the night before) with easy parking. The room was cosy, extremely clean and perfect for one person. A comfortable bed with nice bedding and pillows. Everything I needed was in the room (e.g. coffee machine with pods, kettle, proper fresh milk in the fridge in a glass bottle, plus a percolator). A big double shower. TV (no terrestrial but with Netflix). Peaceful and quiet. Easy to book the restaurant downstairs, where there was a great atmosphere and lovely food. Near the sea. Nice outside sitting area. Will definitely return.

Breakfast would be good in the morning but it really didn't matter as there were great cafes nearby.

Beautiful apartment, photos doesn’t do it justice. Modern clean and very comfy. Netflix, balcony bar downstairs and extremely kind and helpful staff. We had food from the bar on our balcony and our dogs were made to feel very welcome. The owners are wonderful and so accommodating for all our needs.

Only small feedback I can say is it would be wonderful to have a breakfast hamper. I would have paid extra for this say £40 so we could have had toast cheese and orange juice. We drove into hasting tesco to grab some bits but it is a few miles away. Sadly only other thing is 6.30am bank holiday Monday all woken up to bottles being thrown into recycling. Our dogs barking lots from this so early also and others were staying. I would think at least after 9am weekends for such loud noise. Having said this I would happily stay again

We had a relaxing stay at Fairlight Cove and truly fell in love with this beautifully furnished, cozy apartment. We also enjoyed a drink and dinner at a restaurant, which was delicious. We appreciated the food, the ambiance, the people, and the warmth of the fireplace. We are planning to return soon to explore the area further. A big thank you to Olivia, who was a fantastic host!

Such a stunning room and loved the spot it was in! There’s a nice walk nearby along the sea with beautiful scenery. The room smelt devine and the bed was so comfortable! I also loved all the available lighting in the room - they were easily accessible and in really convenient spots.

The images on the website showed the larger apartment with the terrace that was next door as well as this room, but I didn’t realise I was just getting the small room. I should have assumed with the price, but didn’t realise the images are advertising two separate rooms.

I really liked the feel of the suite, it was so airy and stylish but still comfortable. The shower was lovely too. Also didn't realise there was a toaster so could have taken some breakfast!

The weather meant I couldn't enjoy the terrace. There is no breakfast available but I think it's something that is being reviewed.

Cute, cosy room with fantastic shower room. Everything was spotlessly clean and they had even lit a scented candle for me. The room is small but was perfect for me as a sole guest. Loved the comfy wooden bed and the beautiful hemp bed linen. The pub is very atmospheric with a wood burner which was a real bonus given the cold damp weather during my stay. The food is also very good and much more interesting than standard pub fare. Olivia is a great host and rang a cab for me when I missed the bus to Rye. She was also kind enough to give me a coffee on the house when I was waiting for the cab. Will definitely be back when the weather is better!

The occasional humming noise from the fridge woke me up a couple of times.

A lovely modern apartment above a really nice pub with a great little balcony to sit outside. Very comfortable with Netflix, good Wi-Fi & a coffee machine. The food was great in the pub and the staff were all lovely.

The only negative I have is that the bedsheets and towels were so rough! Also a couple of hooks in the bedroom instead of the lounge to hang clothes would have been great. Other than that it was perfect!

It is a beautiful property located under a nice pub/restaurant. The bed was very comfy with lovely quality bed linen. It was surprisingly quiet considering where it was situated. The owners/managers were keen to make our stay as nice as possible.

We had some problems with the shower which the owners quickly rectified but other than that, it was spot on.
