Everything was great. The only problem we had was for my husband who is disabled and did find it difficult to get around the hotel as it wasn't really suitable for his wheelchair and he has difficulty walking any distance. However the staff were very helpful. The only other thing was that room 11 was very cold but was a lovely room with everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable and we both slept very well. Thank you. I am sure we will visit again next time we are in Hereford.

The staff are 10/10!! Incredibly friendly and could not do enough for us. I liked how cosy the property felt and the views are beautiful. Th bed are very comfortable, we slept like logs! Breakfast was lovely, we had our four year old son with us who very much enjoyed his toast and cereal, plus some fuss from the lovely waitress. The full English was delicious and the continental breakfast selection was just enough. A choice of cereal, toast, teas coffee, yogurts, fruit and fruit juice, a perfect selection and not overwhelming.

The room could have been slightly more clean. One of the bedsheets had a stain, a few crumbs on the carpet but nothing major. The floor boards are incredibly noisy. We arrived late evening due to traffic and tried our very best to be quiet as we navigated our way to our room however, the creaks from the floor boards were super noisy.

The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking the Malvern hills/valley the room was spacious with a large comfortable bed, the meals were superb.

Hotel is starting to look a little jaded, water stain on the bedroom ceiling, poor lighting in the room + power points not very accessible, one bedside light was not working, had to move the bed to gain access to the power point to switch it on. A bit disappointing how the bar/restaurant area was deserted by 9pm

Location was perfect for us as we were doing an event 20 mins up the road. The staff were all very friendly helpful and accommodating. We had an early start the chef and his team were happy to start cooked breakfast at 07:45 instead of 8am normal weekend times. On request they also made us sandwiches to go. The food was delicious we ate there both evenings as we as well breakfast. Our room had a great view to wake up to each morning. The only downside we were on the ground floor with a privacy screen understandable as our window faced the patio area. Thank You! Team Pilgrim ☺️ for all the above 🤗

Not sure what the showers were like in the other rooms… But ours was dated as was parts of the venue. That being said the venue was very clean and tidy and wouldn’t put us off here staying again.

I didn't have breakfast but if dinner the previous evening was anything to go by, i am sure it would be superb. The whole experience exceeded my expectations, from the check in to the beautiful room with the little patio and views over the fields. The bathroom/wet-room was superb and the towels were of good quality. The dinner though! beautifully presented and fresh ingredients, prepared with care. Stunning.

The in room toiletries could be improved somewhat to match the other standards and a small bottle of water would be apprteciated.

I had a bath, that's always a bonus for a hotel room. Quiet, spacious, good sized car park. It was reasonably priced for the Hay festival week.

The WiFi didn't work for me which also probably was the reason for the TV not working. Not a real problem as the mobile phone signal was ample. EV charger points haven't yet been installed, again ample charging in Hereford but would have been a bonus.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Room lovely and warm when I got back from a long day at a wedding nearby. Was so glad of a lovely bath in a very warm bathroom. I'm getting on a bit, so this was most welcome , as was their willingness to accept my case and issue my room key before I went to the event.

I had hoped for more than one option as a cooked breakfast. As I had the buffet, it would have been nice to have fresh fruit available. I didn't see any.

Staff were friendly, and there was great service. Rooms were nicely laid out, comfortable, and very clean. Bathroom great, great view from the room. Lounge and restaurant nicely laid out also a good size patio to sit in the sunshine. We ate breakfast 2 mornings and 2 evening meals, again service very good, food was generally good quality on both nights, we felt a tad expensive. Paying extra for breakfast is we feel guiding the lilly the only reason we didn't give this place a 10. Overall its a nice place extremely well run by people who take care and pride of the hotel they work in.

Paying extra for breakfast.

Bulb out beside the bed , but very comfortable bed and pillows. Cosy functional room. Perfect for what we wanted for a wedding weekend , somewhere to lay our heads after 2 busy days .

Nothing all fine . A larger mirror to do make up in the room would be better and the lights aren’t good for getting ready to go out.
