The property was very comfortable and of a very high standard . Nicki & Roger were very warm & welcoming , on arrival we had Tea & homemade cake. The breakfast was delicious , accompanied by homemade preserves. In our lodge there was a great assortment of teas , hot chocolate , ground coffee with a cafetière, accompanied by homemade shortbread . In the lodge , everything had been thought of, we couldn’t want for anything. Nothing was too much trouble , we will be returning no doubt. An added bonus was, our Puppy River had a great playmate in Strudel, they great fun in the garden .

Nothing to dislike

Orchard Cottage is in a wonderful location with far reaching views of the Malvern Hills and Cotswold area. Nicky and Roger were perfect hosts, friendly, informative about the area , and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast here was excellent with plenty of good quality food, nicely prepared and cooked to our liking. It made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay which was sadly too short. We will return to see the locations we didn't have time to get to such as Hay on Wye. We thoroughly recommend this lovely B&B.

Everything including tea and coffee making facilities and Nicky's homemade apple cake and shortbread was of a high standard. Unfortunately the bed and pillows were rather soft for us, but we got used to it over time. Usually we bring our own pillows, but forgot on this occasion! This is a minor issue that was made up for by the lovely relaxing ambience of the accomodation. We cannot fault anything else.

Rural location with wonderful views. Quiet, clean, warm and comfortable. Provided with pot of tea and homemade cream tea on arrival. Beautiful and so thoughtful. Breakfast lovely.

Felt a little restricted staying here. Our dog needed to be on the lead at all times when sitting outside the property enjoying the views. There was no where to secure him other than leaving him inside the lodge. We had no access to the owners very large garden (fenced off for private use). Our only outdoor space was a strip of patio and a gravelled stretch through the carpark area to a piece of grassed area near the garage which was very dark for a late night pee. I appreciate this is a rural property and I don't blame the owners keeping their garden private! It is a garden view rather than use of a garden. We only stayed 1 night. Not our kind of place, too restrictive.

A lovely room with beautiful views to the garden and the countryside. Plenty of choice at breakfast; the food was delicious, the coffee was excellent and the ambience charming with music and views to the beautiful garden. The host was very helpful and welcomed us with a tea tray and delicious cake.

A separate path to lead to the next room would improve privacy.

Breakfast was superb. Best we have ever had in England. Nicki is a brilliant cook. Tasteful, comfortable and immaculate room, with a stunning view over the Malvern hills. Lovely cottage in a picturesque setting. Nicki and Roger are brilliant and friendly hosts and conversation flowed well. They are unobtrusive, but always ready to answer any questions. Excellent base from which to go sightseeing around Herefordshire and close to the Cotswolds, Wye valley and Worcestershire.

The coffee, tea and milk in the room should have been topped up more often. The room lacked a certain amount of privacy and was relatively small by most B&B standards. Had to travel at least 15 minutes to restaurants most evenings.

Absolutely loved the American style pancakes, I had them the first morning then my girlfriend made sure she got them next! Nicki and Roger were great hosts, gave us no hassle for our late check in and were super understanding :) This was a quick book on the spot type of holiday as I had a weekend off work and I had no clue really what I was gonna do when I got there. That quickly changed and both roger and Nicki had tons and tons of suggestions.

Only little bother is yes the garden is lovely and beautiful but I didn't know exactly which way to go to breakfast and stuff. Ended up working it out in only a matter of 15 seconds but just for that moment my missus got a little stressy at me lol.

Excellent breakfast. We chose the night before on a form. We tried both the full English and the pancakes, which were delicious. There is also the choice to have cereals, fruit juice, toast, yoghurt and fruit and plenty of tea and coffee. The view from the lodge was stunning, even in the rain! A very peaceful location and the tea and homemade cake on arrival was a lovely touch. Roger was very welcoming and helpful with places to visit. Very comfy bed with good quality linen.

It was all super!

We spent a very comfortable and enjoyable 3 nights here and loved everything about our stay. The room was so cozy, with a large comfortable bed and an excellent, powerful shower. The handmade biscuits were delicious and we really appreciated all the teas/coffee in the room. Breakfast was exceptional, we're still talking about it a month later! Hosts were very friendly and we felt very looked after. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

Comfortable good size double room, very clean with a good shower, good tea / drinks tray. Breakfast was very nice. Garden had superb views. Hosts were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We will stay again when we visit the Malvern area.

Maybe supply eye mask for Guests who maybe sensitive to light coming into the room early in the morning.

Nicki and Roger were kind and informative hosts and greeted us with tea, coffee and cake. Room was comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Great location for the Malvern hills and Wye Valley AONB.

Nothing to report on this one.
