This is a beautiful property in Lea where the owners have obviously taken considerable time and effort to create such a lovely , comfortable and peaceful environment for their guests. Every detail has been carefully considered in the spacious comfortable bedrooms - paper back books , shoe polish kits and plentiful supplies of toiletries. The vibe was this B snd B is relaxed and casual despite the obvious hard work that obviously goes on behind the scene ! The breakfast made by Sophie was superb - again extraordinary attention to detail with local relishes oh hand on the breakfast table ! Don’t pass by this lovely B and B if in the area !!

An amazing old house in the village of Lea. Great character and lovely friendly hosts who couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and excellent. Very good quality ingredients. The room was like a home from home, very comfortable and well appointed. Lovely recently renovated bathroom with shower. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room and fantastic phone and tablet chargers ! A great place to stay when visiting the beautiful Countryside of the Wye valley and particularly Ross-on-Wye.

The bedroom window faced the busy road through the village and car headlights shone directly in. Perhaps some additional blinds or a black out blind would be helpful ?

We were very warmly welcomed by the hosts to this lovely property with a superb garden. The room was lovely, comfortable and well appointed. The downstairs lounge was charming with amazing and interesting collectibles and furnishing. The host recommended a fantastic Indian restaurant who actually delivered our take away food to us with the host supplying the cutlery & crockery, glasses etc saving us having to go out. There is a village convenience shop across the road which sells beers and wine too. We enjoyed a perfect evening after a most interesting guided tour around the gardens from the owner. A great choice of B & B with a perfect breakfast. Thanks to our hosts.

The breakfasts were excellent, with a great choice of menu. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and helpful. Although the house is not in a town, the buses to Ross, Hereford and Gloucester stop right outside, and despite my room facing the A40, it was really quiet.

I missed a radio, but most guests would use their mobile, so not a big problem, and other's radios can be a problem. After a very long journey, it would have been nice if there had been somewhere close to get a hot meal, but with a kettle in my room and a shop across the road, it was only an issue the 1st night.

Sophie and Andy were exceptional hosts. They were both friendly and approachable and respectful of your space, too. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed so there was no need to ask for anything but, had we had to, it wouldn't have been a problem, I'm sure. There's also the added bonus of a guest lounge, which was very cosy and handy if one of you wanted an earlier night. The breakfasts were incredible! Thank you both for a fantastic few days.

Good location for us. Comfortable beds Lovely crisp white sheets, beautiful furniture. Generous beverage tray. Good breakfast. Friendly Attentive hosts.

Can only think of a couple of small things: a couple of the pillows were like shredded wheats - maybe a couple of softer ones in the wardrobe for those that like a different type of pillow. The bedside lamps could do with brighter bulbs so that when you turn off the big central light you can still see to do things.

Having had a terrible journey to get to Lea guest house due to traffic issues, we were greeted by Andy, who showed us around this amazing house, so full of character and charm. The following morning we were greeted by Sophie, who made us a wonderful breakfast and made us feel we were family. Sophie and Andy made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Beautiful place in the centre of the village, spotlessly clean with a lovely big room. Breakfast was phenomenal! The owners are so warm and welcoming, Sophie even came out in her car to find me, after I had checked out, to return my car keys which I had left behind. Will definitely return next time I’m in the area.

Everything was brilliant, the room was clean, large and beautifully decorated. It was lovely to have complimentary proper tea and coffee and bottled water. The breakfast was superb, my husband had an excellent cooked breakfast and I loved the homemade granola. We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hosts. Lovely location. 6 miles from Ross on Wye city centre. Good location as a starting point to go by car to explore. Breakfast for many tastes, excellent food
