Reviewing on the basis that we paid a more than reasonable price when booking in advance through Booking.com The hotel is ideally located a 20 minute walk from King's X station and very central, especially for the price we paid. We stayed in a double room with shared facilities, and the shared facilities were kept very clean during our stay so zero problems there. Our room was also comfortable with a sink and hot drink facilties so happy overall with facilities. Whilst it was the hottest weekend of the year, and nothing to do with the hotel, I would say that the fan in our room might have been a standard size instead of a mini desk fan. Additionally, my husband needs 2 pillows to sleep comfortably so perhaps extra pillows in the room would be ideal. The service from the staff was exemplary throughout our stay, everyone was lovely. As we paid such a reaosnable price for the room, the cooked breakfast included was such a bonus. It wasn't a huge offering but great for setting you up for the day.

Not to be put officially in "didnt like",we would definitely stay again, though potentially not in the height of summer. We had the window open overnight and the road noise at night was quite disruptive.

The Jesmond hotel is absolutely excellent it,s location is excellent it only takes 15 minutes to walk to covent garden and is central for trains and tube. We had a large family room which was light bright and very comfortable with ensuite , it was very clean and tidy and it was freshened up every day. The staff were amazing, the manager was a lovely friendly gentleman who went above and beyond when we arrived early we were checked straight in, the rest of the staff were also friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was amazing so much choice from fruit, cereal, full English ,yoghurts ,tea coffee and juice it was well cooked and plentiful too and they would cook pretty much anything you wanted. We would highly recommend this hotel we were treated like Kings and Queens we would definately go back again thank you all so so much

The hotel is in a great location, I was staying here because I had tickets for a show at the Dominion Theatre, which was only a 10 minute walk away. Really convenient to Oxford Street, Soho and Euston station. The staff were so friendly and approachable, such a credit to their business. Nothing was too much trouble. I was staying on the 3rd floor with quite hot weather, but they had the window open and a fan on in the room before my arrival which was so thoughtful. The shared bathroom was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. So great to have a cooked English breakfast included in the stay, felt really looked after. Thank you!!

The location is ideal for a London break! Walkable distance to nearby shops, theatres and tube stations. The facilities were clean and simple. The staff were friendly and attentive, and provided a great breakfast every morning - a cooked English breakfast as well as continental options. Despite a street-facing room on the first floor, the outside noise didn't travel to my room too often. A comfy double bed made it a pleasant stay.

Not the greatest shower pressure but it sufficed! Also sound did travel between neighbouring rooms, so it might not be ideal for light sleepers.

The hotel's location is excellent. You can easily reach the metro stations. Mr Vincent, the hotel employee, is very attentive and polite. He does his best to solve any problems you may have. The breakfast was adequate. The rooms are old but generally clean.

It would be great if the rooms were thoroughly and detailed cleaned at certain times. The room gets very dusty because there is carpet on the floor.

The location is very central, perfect for sight-seeing in London. Different subway stations are within walking distance. The British Museum is just around the corner. Breakfast is good - you can get English breakfast, fresh fruits, cerials. If you have an food-allergies or riquire something special for breakfast it is best to conttact the staff same days prior to arrival to give them the chance to prepare accordingly. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

We had rooms with shared shower and toilet. Those were always clean. Yet, closing doors of the facilities as well as the doors to the rooms made a lot of noise. We had rooms under the roof with only a tiny window, which made it difficult to get fresh air or to ventilate the room. Mattress of beds were a bit on the thin side as the width of the single beds.

Location is great, food was very tasty albeit with limited options. Room was clean, bathroom was fully functional and well stocked. Good view of the garden was a plus.

Situation with breakfast was messy. I understand that the number of seats is limited, but hearing „you can eat in your room” without any prior warning was very infuriating. Thankfully this only happened once, and on other occasions we were informed that there will be a table booked for us.

Location of this hotel is brilliant - a couple of minutes walk from Goodge Street Underground Station, and about a 10 minute walk from Euston, which was perfect especially since we could store our luggage after check out free of charge and collect it on our way to the train station. Although the hotel was basic, it was excellent value for money. Our room was very clean, comfortable, spacious and it had everything we needed for one night (it had tea/coffee, hair dryer, large TV, sink, lots of plug sockets, mirrors, a desk and chair) The hotel felt very secure and safe, since nobody without a door key could enter the building.. The owner of the hotel was very polite and very helpful (even carried our case up the stairs!) The food and choice at breakfast was excellent

The hotel is a beautiful listed building, however this means that it has a lot of stairs to climb so isn't very accessible. Staff at breakfast were not very approachable, and we found them very rude. However, food was lovely and it was served very quickly and efficiently.

Located in a row of hotels on Gower Street this is convenient for Euston and Tottenham Court Road Station about a 10 minute walk from each. The breakfast was lovely - not overcooked and with attentive service and a good range. Drinking my morning coffee in the garden was a nice relaxed start to a busy day.

Like a lot of London hotels you do not get a big room. The shower took ages to warm up in the morning. There is no air-con in this hotel (fans are available) and there was some street noise - but this is central London and it is an old building which is part of the charm.

Convenient location which is close to the tube station and also just a short walk to covent garden. The location was also good because it was not noisy at night, so you have a good balance of being close to town and can have a good rest in the evening. The room was clean and the staff were also very friendly. A full English breakfast was also included in the stay.

There's no lift but that's fine if you don't have bulky luggages.
