Room was basic but fine for a quick theatre stop in London. Beds were comfy and the shower was small but good water pressure. Nice big room with a large window onto the garden and surprisingly quiet overnight given that you are right in the heart of London. Staff were very warm and welcoming. Location was fantastic and rate was so reasonable given location.

The fan wasn't great but we happened to stay on the hottest day of the year so far so that probably wouldn't normally matter! No Aircon - which wasn't advertised but is probably worth bearing in mind if you are staying in the summer months.

Great location, very central and could easily walk to many areas. It is an old building, quirky but very comfortable. It is in need of renovating, which I believe is happening next year. It will be so lovely but hopefully doesn’t lose its charm. The young lady on reception was so lovely, such an asset. Housekeeping does a great job however need to look up….there was so much dust on the top of the doorframe inside the bathroom but this is an easy fix.

I had a room with a lovely garden view, which made for a peaceful and quiet stay. The hotel is old but well-maintained, and the heating works brilliantly, keeping the room cosy. The bathroom was spotless, and overall, everything was clean and comfortable. Given the price and very central location, the value for money is excellent—would definitely stay again!

All good, it was as I expected.

Everything excellent. Perfect service from the duty manager Sakar, he really cares about the wellbeing of their guests. Nice design and interiors. Nice touches inside the room like a welcoming message over the mirror! The property will undergo an extensive refurbishment soon, so everything will look better. Looking forward to coming back and seeing the post-refurbishment outcome.

We were delighted with our visit. The service we received was exceptional, a ten for those in charge of running the hotel. Everything was perfect, both in terms of services and cleanliness. And the best thing was its location, close to everything important to visit without the need for public transport. We will repeat without thinking twice.

I stayed in a large, clean, warm room, comfortable bed, good linen, friendly reception staff, great value for money, a special thankyou to the reception staff who allowed me to preview my room the day before I checked in, after I was worried about some reviews I read, really put my mind at rest

Temporary sewage smell in bathroom, but a spray of my perfume soon sorted that out

The bed was very comfy. You got what you paid for, but it was good value considering it was cheaper than other hotels in the area.

The room was very small. The shower was also very small. HOWEVER for the price I paid I am not complaining. But have realistic expectations if booking. There also not protector on the plug on the sink, and I almost dropped a small bottle down the plughole.

Everything was fine. Beds were comfortable And the toilet/bathrooms were pretty clean too. The only issue we had was the old school lock system was very difficult as the key hole and keys weren’t working so smoothly so it felt pretty outdated but all in all it’s a good value for money considering the price and the location.

The room was super small but beautiful and had all the things I needed - super comfy bed, hairdryer, kettle, shower and complimentary tea / coffee / shower gel etc The location is wonderful too.

We booked this as a last minute stay, as thought we needed to be in central London overnight. We were a little worried about the reviews, but it wasn’t that bad at all. The location is great, the member of staff on reception was lovely, and the room was clean. It was also super cheap.

It is definitely a bit tired, but still good value.
