My experiences are out of staying in the deluxe single room with attached bathroom for 6 nights during the months of May-June. The room is in the basement with a window inside the building for some ventilation and light. Nice clean and tidy room. Room got serviced on a daily basis. Tea/Coffee maker inside the room. Room heater was there too. Breakfast is nice (but the number of options can increase a bit). Easy check-in, check-out experience. Great location! Relatively cheaper with respect to the location, which is a big plus. Bathroom doors are completely transparent for my single room with attached bathroom, which is fine given that it is for one person, but still kind of weird. Overall highly recommend this place for solo travellers!

Excellent location and front desk staff. Really good breakfast

The bathroom floor was dirty - shoe sole marks with dirt left on the floor, hair, etc. Blankets are too short so you sleep either with your feet sticking out or your torso uncovered. This may be standard in the UK but it's unfortunately substandard in most other countries where the blankets should be, and are, always oversized compared to the size of the mattress. The matress was leaning to one side for some reason, made for an uncomfortable night. Very poor sound insulation around the windows and extremely worn furnishings. There are signs of lack of care all around, which could be easily mitigated without a major renovation.

Our room was newly renovated. It was modern with on suite bathroom. Very warm but easy to regulate with turning heating down. The staff were friendly as were the other guests we encountered. There was no noise disturbance at all. Location ideal to get into London areas and back to work the next day. Breakfast was included and it was good continental breakfast with a good selection of food in a rustic but cosy breakfast room.

We were next to the breakfast room. Staff started working there very early. Unfortunately light came through the bottom of the door and brightened up our room. Possibly just me being to light sensitive. Maybe a draft stopper will stop the light as well.

We were very pleased with our accomodation. Our room (nr.23 last floor) was newly renovated , was clean and tidy . Nice clean carpet. A very comfortable double bed and pillows. Clean towels. A window with a view at the backyard , nice and quite at night. Warm and cozy. The room is big enough for london standards. Available: Bathroom toiletries, hairdryer, Kettle as well as cups for tea and coffee , good size tv with a lot of channels, free wifi Easy check in and check out. Receptionist was really helpfull, professional and welcoming. We arrived quite early and was amazing that we could storage our luggages for free, the same at the check out. Breakfast needs to be improved , but at least was clean to sit and eat. Hotel is really near to everything, was perfect for us as on the 25/12 there was not any public transport available so we could easily walk around london and come back on foot. We will for sure choose Aaran Hotel for our next visit in london!

Generally we were very pleased with our accomodation. Few things that we noticed.. The hotel doesnt have an elevator. Was not a problem at all for us as we didnt have big luggages. Breakfast was a bit poor , is also located in the basement , was not enough tables for everybody. Breakfast includes: (Bread, boiled eggs, cheese (not any ham)small pastries,tea, coffee, different kind of cereals, some fruits, yogurt, jam)

Great location, round the corner from 2 underground stations, lovely little coffee street across the road. Rooms nice and spacious, plenty of plugs, we had a built in bathroom which was nice plus access to the communal ones which was a great help. Owner was lovely, nice brekkie and lovely helpful ladies working there. Happy to store luggage before and after check in, owner printed name stickers for all left bags. Comfy beds, tea and coffee, hairdryer a nice touch.

Couldn’t fault it. We paid under £400 for 4 of us for two nights including breakfast. Prefect

The hotel is about thirty seconds from Goodge Street underground station and is clean and quiet at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there are tea and coffee facilities in rooms. Overall it was very good and I'd happily stay there again.

The rooms don't have air con so can get very warm and unless you book a room with an en suite the toilets and showers are shared.

The breakfast was great, lots of options and fresh food. The staff were friendly and helpful - we really appreciated the free luggage storage. The room was clean and warm, quiet and cozy. Just what we needed at a lower cost.

The bathroom that I used was a little on the dirty side, specifically the shower, but minor concerns.

Lovely and quiet

The only thing we could really find fault was the coffee and breakfast . Coffee was undrinkable and breakfast just boring ….. so even though it was included we went out for breakfast. If I owned a hotel the thing I would get right is amazing coffee and breakfast for my guest , to start the day satisfied and full !!

I really like Arran House - it's basic but clean and the continental breakfast is good (and included in the price). The location is extremely good and the staff are lovely and very helpful. Beds were comfortable, shared bathroom had hot water all day I think - certainly whenever we used it. Can't fault our stay - it was great.

it's a bit of a shame that the back garden is not done up = it would be really nice to sit out there for breakfast.

Local to theatres. good value for money. Beds comfortable and clean. Friendly welcoming staff.

Bathrooms are shared down the corridor which wasn’t a problem. but one was found to have a wet floor in the night. and the other has a step which requires yellow tape and a notice to alert people of the step, we both missed it and tumbled, luckily no harm.
