The staff were very helpful and informative. They were quite welcoming and willing to assist where they could. The rooms were small, but more or less exactly as advertised. Housekeeping was done regularly and the standard of the room was generally quite good. They also offered fruit fruit in the lobby, which I was grateful for. All in all, good value for money. I would have no problem if I had to book here again.

The room I stayed in only had one small window and a desk fan, which was appreciated, but didn't help much with the heat. The bathroom also only has a shower curtain separating from the toiler, but given the space of the whole unit that's understandable. Would have preferred a dedicated bath mat as the water will run on the floor a bit, but you are provided with a floor towel, which I appreciated.

I booked this hotel specifically due to the location. It's 10minutes walk away from Excel and the Prince Regent DLR. Very residential neighbourhood. The workers at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, offering free fruits at the entrance and are more than happy to help with any problems during your stay, or if in need for help with directions. There are a few corner shops close by so you can buy the odd toothpaste/beer etc. and a fish and chip shop opposite the road. Kebab shop next to the hotel seems quite popular with the locals as well. Good transport links as well as there is a bus stop nearby. 473 takes you to Stratford. The bathroom is very spacious for a single room and the shower is hot and has good water pressure. The wifi provided was also very good and I didn't have any problem accessing the internet on my laptop during my stay.

My allergies were quite bad during my stay- could be a combination of dust (the room I was in faces the main road directly), the room being quite dusty?, or pollen. The walls are also very thin, so you can hear footsteps or whenever someone is just coming out of the lifts. I was woken up around 5 at some point when the phone rang, but it was not to my room. There aren't a lot of things to do in the area unfortunately.

The location was excellent, we were attending an event at the Excel... It was right down the street, there was also a bus stop right outside the hotel, and a tube station a short walk away. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful with everything. We were traveling with our 10-month-old, and they were very accommodating. Breakfast was cheap, basic, and fresh. There was a shop right across the street that made for a convenient stop for snacks and the like.

We stayed in the annex, which was not a problem and was very convenient, but if it were winter, it would have been more irritating to go outside whenever we wanted to go to Breakfast or the lobby. The staff was very helpful with our baby; however, no highchair was available for breakfast, which was not required but would have been helpful for our child's comfort. The waterfall shower was nice, but as a curly-haired person, I don't wash my hair every day, and it's hard with a waterfall shower to avoid getting your hair wet when you don't want to.

Very attentive staff at reception, due to warm weather was given cold bottle of water each and offered free fruit which was a nice gesture. We stayed at the annexe and were escorted to building and the rooms 30seconds away, and told if we needed anything reception was 24 hours and to not hesitate to contact if we needed anything

unfortunatly the annexe does not have air conditioning ,and was quite warm due to the weather .A fan was on in our room and our daughters, and windows open for fresh air .We knew there was no air conditioning and was reflected in the price slightly cheaper than main hotel. In hind sight would book main hotel especially in warm weather, but for price could not fault accomadation We were going to Excel and this was only 5 minutes walk away .Excellant location for excel could not fault

Automatic doors at entrance. Elevator. Room was clean. Common areas were clean. Hairdryer in the room. Location is close enough to the trains and both train stations have elevators. Convenience store across the street. I was able to work at the desk in the room comfortably enough. Plenty of outlets & my weirdly designed adaptor was able to fit. Complementary fruit in the lobby. (At least I *think* it's complementary or they offered it to me because I was completely melting from the heat when I checked in. Might be part of the breakfast so maybe verify.) They also let me check in a little early - so appreciative for that. ~ FOOD NOTES: I ate at Zzetta Pizza (yum) 2 times and worked at The Milk Tree cafe (lovely) - both walkable within 30 minutes.

Bathroom is quite compact & I could only sit diagonally on the toilet (I'm 5' 10") because of the sink. Picture that in your mind if you must, haha. Shower was also tight if you don't want to get your hair wet (which on that day I did not). I'm not mad about this factor since obviously showers are made to get you wet; just more of any FYI so pack your shower cap. This room was a little small to open up my luggage and step over but it was manageable.

Good location for us going to a concert at London stadium and then the West End for a show. We just went around using taxis to get to where we wanted. We were in a seperate block to the main hotel and we liked this. Our room was fine for 2 nights, we weren't in much due to being out. We would have struggled for more nights due to the lack of storage space for 2. On arrival, we were given complimentary breakfast the next day, a nice touch. The staff were friendly and had to contend with a sewage leak whilst we were staying.

It's not a didn't like but it advertises that there is parking and we had a car. On arrival, we were given one remaining space. Had we been later, perhaps there wouldn't have been a space as the parking is locked space behind the hotel.

The hotel delivered everything it promised. Moreover, the location was silent and in walkable distance to LCY airport, Excel center, tube station, and multiple bus stops to various parts of London (although does require some travel time to the city center). The staff was also very friendly. And as a bonus, a grocery late night shop nearby was very useful in providing some quick meal before and after the day routines.

The only thing I somewhat missed was more space to put things like luggage, papers, etc. on. However, that is probably only relevant for those who stay for a longer time, and there was still a useful closet + table, so definitely not a deal breaker.

The staff were incredibly helpful always, the rooms were clean, the facilities were good. The hotel is about a 15 minutes walk from the excel center and there's lots of shops close by if you've forgotten anything. Kettle in room with coffee and teas, hairdryer in the drawer, TV with Internet access (and wifi provided by hotel of course), and the absolute highlight facility was free parking! I would definitely stay here again.

The room was a little smaller than I expected and it's definitely not luxurious but we just needed a place to sleep for the weekend so this didn't bother me at all. If you're looking for something fancy I wouldn't recommend here but if you're just at an event at the excel and need a place to crash it's ideal

The hotel staff were very professional and accommodating, from the moment of check in till the moment of check out. The breakfast was nice and freshly made by a staff member. Fruit basket was available for whenever you want it even after breakfast. WiFi was decent. They also had gated parking so I was quite relaxed about parking at this place, just ask the staff member to open the gate as it's secured by a gate. The room was very cozy and there was central heating and also an extra mini heater as well especially during when I booked this. Overall the place and experience was worth the price.

Hotel exceeded expectations. Excellent location for Excel centre (5-10 minute walk from East Entrance). I was fully prepared for it to be a dump because it was so cheap for this area but the room was clean, spacious, comfortable and very warm (below freezing outside).. Staff were super nice and there's a cracking chippy across the road. I've previously stayed in some of the overpriced chain hotels in this area but this place is a gem. 10/10 will stay again. I stayed in "the annexe" which was a converted house a few doors up from the main hotel.

Nothing. All good. It's on a fairly standard East London street, if such things bother you then you can pay three times the price for the Travelodge I guess.
