It was a visit due to my birthday and my husband and I were visiting the area for an event. We were upgraded as a special treat. Abigail on the desk was polite and explained everything about the facilities. The room was immaculate, the bed, bedding and pillows were out of this world soft, the black out blinds were awesome and we had a grea nights sleep. The breakfast was delicious with an excellent selection to chose from. Samiya one of the waitresses was very sweet and gave a wonderful dining experience.

There was nothing i didn't like about this stay.

Very close to DLR station but could not hear any noise in the room. Excellent service from staff. They were friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable. Very spacious room, shower was fabulous and water pressure was great. Bed was big and extremely comfortable.

The pool area was very warm probably because it wasn’t in a large space and the sauna and steam room were there too. But the water was just the right temperature. Not a large pool which was made even smaller when half was cordoned off for kiddy swimming lessons. Not the most relaxing experience and disappointing because the pool was the main reason for the booking at this hotel. A lot of guests actually got out of the pool and left.

We went there for Megacon live. It was just a minute walk from the second floor, it was amazing! We booked again for MCM in may.

The airco did not last, it stayed on for about ten minutes and then the room warmed up quickly again. So I woke up overheated at night as the room was warm again. I never had this before. The food pricing. It was very expensive for these small dishes and also I happen to have a piece of meat that I couldn’t eat fully because it was very chewy. 35£ for a piece of meat, half a tomato and some chips. Sorry, but no. And a cold piece of apple cake that did not taste fresh for 9£. I did not like it. Maybe I happen to choose wrong that day and the other stuff is amazing. Who knows.

The room was very comfortable, well sized for a London hotel rooms - open layout and like that the toilet and shower were separate. The hotel pool and gym were a great and welcomed amenity by me and my sister. The staff on Reception at check in and check out were both very friendly and informative, great knowledge of local area when helping us with route to o2 upon check-in. Also, the on site car parking was super handy and straight forward!

It would have been good to know in advance that the local DLR station was closed for the weekend of the stay. I did request a room with large windows and a nice view however we had a view of another wall, but the windows were still large and bright so this didn't make too much of a difference. x2 very small minor complaints, nothing that caused any worry though!

Excellent hotel with very nice staff. 2 mins walk from the Prince Regent Street DLR. Lovely hotel/restaurant/rooms. Nothing was an issue and even though we didn't have breakfast they allowed us to get coffees for the room which was nice. Rooms has tea/coffee facilities but got a nice cappuccino each morning. There is a convenience store selling a plethora of wine/beers/snacks (and loads of fresh fruit!) Which is a 5 min walk away. If you get the DLR to Customs House and then get off to get on the Elizabeth Line you are only then 1 stop from Canary Wharf.

Room was very warm, couldn't get the air con less than 18 degrees. We asked for a fan which was put in our room in like 5 mins which was good but still very warm.

It was very spacious with generous areas to relax including the outside patio area by the restaurant. The room was also spacious, quiet and had a good view with little extras of comfort like face flannels, decent mugs, and a very comfy king size bed. It was also fairly relaxed and open plan (note some might prefer more privacy). The shower was good with decent hot water We requested the room was serviced and the staff did an excellent job. We had Tikka Masala in the main restaurant which was well presented and delicious. Breakfast had a very good selection. The plunge pool was warm and swim towels were supplied on request. It was close to the DLR and easy to get into central London and the O2.

The main bar area was closed so socialising was limited and it was a shame not to have the opportunity to use it. Some of the areas need updating. There were swimming lessons in the pool which seemed too small to accommodate both guests and this daytime activity. Reception said the best quiet time to swim was before 8:30am and after 8:00pm There was plenty of parking but at a cost of £20 for each 24 hours. There were big queues at breakfast between 9:45 and 10:45 on Sunday. However, the choice of fruit, pastries and continental breakfast meant you could wait and not go hungry. The towels were a bit on the small side.

We were attending an event at the Excel and the location was very good for that. The room was a good size, though my friend and I had to book a "family" room in order to have separate beds. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We also had breakfast at the hotel which had a decent selection at the buffet. The staff were very helpful.

Not much to dislike and the following are minor points but may be of interest to some. Avoid peak times at breakfast as there was a queue and some of the breakfast buffet including plates, food and drinks ran out, although it was all eventually replaced. There was some corridor noise, mainly doors banging, and noise from chairs being moved around on the hard floors in the room above so if you are very sensitive to noise at night it's not the best. This isn't the hotel's fault but it's not possible to walk from the hotel to the riverside at the east end of the Excel, and it's a long walk (or 1 stop on the DLR) to the west side to get around to the river where there are restaurants and other attractions.

The hotel is really nice. Very good location, about a 2-3 minute walk from nearest tube station. Friendly & helpful staff. The gym has a good amount of equipment for a small workout and the spa area was impressive! We really loved the long opening hours for the spa. Everywhere that we saw was clean and tidy. Would recommend and stay again in future.

Being overly critical. Just the tv was a little annoying because it had a mind of its own. It would turn itself off and it wasn't possible to connect to it via Internet to use Netflix etc. The towels weren't very big, they felt more like a hand towel.

Housekeeping staff were wonderful and helpful whenever we needed something, Front desk were a great help when our initial room had broken AC stuck at 24° they immediately moved us and apologised. We stayed same time in 2023 and the restaurant wasn't great but gave it a chance this year and the food was incredible. Honestly it's a struggle to think of an issue.

Only issue I can think of is towels and damage deposit when you arrive. Towels are quite small and you only get one each if two stay in the room, they're very absorbent which is great but means they get super wet quickly so is not great if washing body and hair so need 2 per person really. Damage deposit wise - it's £25 per night you stay, if you miss the mention of this in the details you can get a shock of having to pay £100 damage deposit (returned to you after check out) upon arrival after paying for the room already can leave a bad taste in the mouth initially (comfort of the rooms makes that fade fast though)

Room is well appointed, modern, very clean and the bed is exceptionally comfortable. Standout for me at the hotel were the staff members - everyone at breakfast was excellent and attentive with special shout out to Manju with his welcoming smile and kindness. Also would like to acknowledge Lilliana at front desk who organized print outs for me when I had a small work crisis. I was grateful for the doing some small that she didn't have to do which was a big help to me. Proximity to excel is brilliant.

Whilst the team at breakfast are just lovely the food is below average. There is plenty of variety but it is mostly cheap and over processed. Would prefer less and better quality. Pool is used for kids swimming lessons and the adjacent gym seems to be mostly used as a parent's waiting room (which is a bit off-putting if you are trying to use it)
