It was a visit due to my birthday and my husband and I were visiting the area for an event. We were upgraded as a special treat. Abigail on the desk was polite and explained everything about the facilities. The room was immaculate, the bed, bedding and pillows were out of this world soft, the black out blinds were awesome and we had a grea nights sleep. The breakfast was delicious with an excellent selection to chose from. Samiya one of the waitresses was very sweet and gave a wonderful dining experience.

There was nothing i didn't like about this stay.

I was visiting London for a convention and the location of this hotel was perfect. The second floor has a connecting deck to the Excel center, so it takes 2 minutes to get there. The steam room and sauna are both great, as is the pool! Would definitely stay here again for the sauna access. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

You have to sign into the wifi like every day. The hotel also blocks you from some gaming things, I couldn't use my Nintendo switch properly in the room which was annoying. Games could play decent (you have to call a 'technician' to be allowed to plug the nintendo in cause there are screws in the TV bracket) but couldn't download any games, which was annoying since mine had offloaded. Seemed common with hotels in the area though so not sure if there's much that can be done.

We booked the hotel for the second time. The first time we came and combined family vacation with business and stayed at the hotel for 3 days from 4.05 to 7.05 and we really liked it. Our cat Elizabeth especially liked it. We had a room on the fourth floor. The room was very clean. I don't remember the name of the guy who checked us in but he was a very polite and considerate guy. I think he deserves gratitude and a compliment from the manager too. Therefore, on our second trip we decided to stay in the same hotel as the first time too. When we arrived the second time, the same guy checked us into the hotel as the first time. He works till 10 am to 10 pm. We were given a room on the second floor. The room was large and clean but we refused because on the second floor in the corridor, when you walk along the corridor to the room, there was a smell of sewage and the room had a common door for entering a parallel room. We refused because we have a cat and I was afraid for the cat's peace. I didn't want the cat to get stressed. I contacted the reception and they changed our room to the third floor. The room was clean and had a nice view from the windows. Much better then the room on the floor, because the windows there was frosted. So my cat liked to spend her free time sitting by the windows and watching the parking lot, the trains passing by, the people coming and going. She had a good time watching from the window when were at a business meeting. So, the room is nice and clean. The shower is clean and has everything you need: towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper. In addition, if desired they give you robes and slippers for visiting the pool, sauna and stream room. The room has tea, coffee, sugar, milk and one can of water. It is advisable to put several cans of water, so as not to search all over London for where to buy drinking water. The restaurant workers are very nice. Sorry, we forget names. The girls were from Romania and Philippines is a great job.

The sauna didn't work at all and the steam room didn't work well. The water in the pool was cool. They left only one can water 330 ml of water in the room, not taking into account that there two adults in the room who could not drink only one can the water. Why save on water?

Nice hotel in a good location. Having rooms with 2 double beds is a big plus’s point & they were comfortable. Simple check in & out. Liked that the toilet, sink area & shower were separate as it allows multiple people to use the bathroom at once in privacy. Fridge & ice bucket are a great feature. Noticed the hotel has a pool on the way out, wish I had time to use it. Staff seemed friendly. WiFi worked well.

There’s about 12 light switches scattered around the room so it took a while to get used to where they are & which ones turn on which light. The air con felt quite weak & took a while to cool the room & the windows don’t open at all. Bedside table only in the middle of the beds not either side so had to use a chair as one on my side. Even on the highest floors, for half the rooms the view is of a building opposite with workmen on the roof who aren’t scared of staring into the room. The glass wall between the shower & bedroom lit up the room whenever someone was using the bathroom.

Facilities and location are top notch if looking for a quieter part of London but still easy access to public transport to central London. Right next to DLR service which supplies easy access to underground and Greenwich areas. Staff were super friendly and easy to deal with. Pool and gym services were a nice bonus. Food is good too but a little pricey.

Only thing I can say is we did have a very noisy party in the room next to us and we did ring to have this sorted at midnight and it didn't happen. But when talking to staff the next morning they upgraded our room and allowed us to check out later without any hassle so it was nice of them.

The bed was comfy and the room was well-appointed. With the problems we had, the staff were so helpful and put things right as much as they could. I was very impressed with the customer service.

The TV kept cutting out, and also the AC had to be fixed. Breakfast was disappointing. There was a defective four-slot toaster (it toasted bread on one side only) that was pointed out on our first morning and had further deteriorated on the second morning in that two slots had stopped working altogether. There was no ketchup on the first morning, with the information that there had been no ketchup for three days. The coffee machine was operating on only half of its settings were working. Tables were not cleared very quickly.

Room was really great, staff very helpful and friendly. Really pleased we booked here.

Minor annoyances, Need signage coming in on level 2 to entrance, bit tricky when it says you cant use stairs. Scrambled egg was disgusting, need plugs near mirrors in rooms so i could do my hair. Website needs to make it clearer which is nearest station. Finally we went to use Sauna after breakfast to find a sign that we need to ask and it takes half hour to warm up. Need to know this before we got changed and went through. Ps 631 needs its shower hose changing, very noisy. Forgot to tell you sorry

The hotel was really nice, they prepared our room up beautifully for our anniversary (I bought the cheapest package and they upgraded to the best one) the staff were very caring and helpful! We did get the pool to ourselves in the morning which was absolutely great!

Unfortunately our Aircon wasn't working, they did send someone up straight away to fix it! But it still wasn't great so they very kindly offered back our money that we had paid for the carpark! Which we happily accepted! The pool area is rather small once 2 families are there it feels overcrowded!

Very close to DLR station but could not hear any noise in the room. Excellent service from staff. They were friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable. Very spacious room, shower was fabulous and water pressure was great. Bed was big and extremely comfortable.

The pool area was very warm probably because it wasn’t in a large space and the sauna and steam room were there too. But the water was just the right temperature. Not a large pool which was made even smaller when half was cordoned off for kiddy swimming lessons. Not the most relaxing experience and disappointing because the pool was the main reason for the booking at this hotel. A lot of guests actually got out of the pool and left.

We went there for Megacon live. It was just a minute walk from the second floor, it was amazing! We booked again for MCM in may.

The airco did not last, it stayed on for about ten minutes and then the room warmed up quickly again. So I woke up overheated at night as the room was warm again. I never had this before. The food pricing. It was very expensive for these small dishes and also I happen to have a piece of meat that I couldn’t eat fully because it was very chewy. 35£ for a piece of meat, half a tomato and some chips. Sorry, but no. And a cold piece of apple cake that did not taste fresh for 9£. I did not like it. Maybe I happen to choose wrong that day and the other stuff is amazing. Who knows.
