I loved the friendly staff member Scott and I loved the friendly meeting area with tvs and formula 1 racing on. I like how Belushis has a big bar area and a bar going sorta tourism interested crowd of people and I liked the underground food area and the drinks area!!

Well the beds aren’t very private in the shared room so if you want to have sex unless you wanted everyone to see it would have been a bit public in the room and just thinking I could have booked a double or maybe as a hostels general rule you could have a curtain or net curtain maybe around the beds or those surf beaded ones?

A very comfortable and easy place to stay in London, with an excellent location right on Camden High Street. The hostel is above the bar (Belushi's), but you don't hear anything and the rooms are all very well maintained and equipped. It's a cheap hostel so don't get any crazy expectations, but what it does it does very well. Regularly cleaned, always lovely staff, and tidy, comfortable beds.

I guess the fact that the only 'common area' is the bar downstairs might be a negative (it can be a biit dark...). Also the lack of any cooking facilities (or somewhere to keep food), if you're travelling. But that's not their thing (if this is the first St. Christopher's/Belshi's you've come across, but you're planning on hitting other big European cities, it probably won't be your last!), so you get what you're looking for :)

It was good! Comfy beds, good charging facilities, interesting and chatty roommates, great staff, tasty food at Belushi’s bar and we had a very convenient toilet and shower in our room!

The toilets flush in our room, wasn’t great and the toilets bowl was sort of dirty at points, as it wouldn’t always completely empty. And the shower’s drainage system wasn’t very good and on the first occasion I used it, overflowed into our room (this was fixed quickly by the hostel team, thanks) but I was very surprised and was cautious when using the shower after that.

The room was exceptionally well-ventilated thanks to two windows on opposite sides – the air stayed fresh and comfortable all night. I’ve stayed in many hostels before, but I’ve never experienced air quality this good – it truly made a difference. The room also had an en-suite bathroom with a toilet and shower, which was very convenient. It was completely quiet at night, and the location was excellent – close to Regent’s Park. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, I was really impressed and very satisfied with my stay.

Room and bathroom were clean everyday. Buses metro supermarket and library right next to the place. Breakfast was superb (bigups to the Polish chef). Staff was awesome (bigups to the African, Portuguese, and Phillipino brothers sharing their knowledge on how to get around London (aka dodging expensive train rides with more affordable options) and the 2 ladies as well . Finally, the area the hostel is situated in, Camden, is live; totally changed my perspective on London and Britain in general.

No kitchen was the only bummer. Nevertheless, I made sure to wolf down enough of the buffet breakfast that easily lasted until dinner time. With 10 people in one spacious room, the chances of that "one", who snores louder than a bear, or the party animal that walks in a 3am stumbling around, are significantly higher. The angry Jamaican lady and her fake as wig she couldn't even put on correctly....someone please give her a hug for me...she needs a hug.

This is a great location, and the hostel doesn't really claim to be more than a cheap place to stay, which it is. There's nothing really special about it as far as hostels go - but it is clean, safe and not too noisy, which is all you really need! I stayed in a ladies only room, and there was a private bathroom and shower attached.

I do not mind triple bunks, but for those of you who loathe them - don't say you weren't warned! I would've also wanted to see an extra toilet per floor - one person nine people was mostly okay as everyone had vastly different schedules, but it would be been a nice backup anyway.

I am constantly visiting different countries and cities, so I have something to compare with and I can say that this is one of the best hostels. Everything is very clean. The rooms have heating and even in winter the room is warm. Many common rooms have their own shower and toilet. There is always warm water. Every evening at 20:00, a lot of free delicious pizza and free drinks are served to all guests, which can include beer or delicious fruit punch. The hostel staff is always friendly and welcoming. They always quickly help if you have any questions. The location of the hostel is also good, as there is a metro nearby and in 15 minutes you can get to all the central attractions of London. On the -1 floor there is a common room with a large TV and soft sofas and armchairs, which is open all night and if you come with a large company, you can spend time there even all night and at the same time you will not disturb other guests sleeping. The hostel also includes a large pub where you can have a drink, watch football and meet other people, as this pub is visited not only by hostel guests but also by locals. Also, for hostel guests there is a big discount on all food and drinks in the pub. Another plus is the large safes for storing personal belongings, which are locked with a locker and you do not need to worry about valuables when you go for a walk.

I liked everything, so I'm staying here not for the first time

central camden town, cheap, SAFE , clean and friendly! what could you wish for?? breakfast was surprisingly nice for the price, i also woke up very early to work and i could keep refilling my coffee and food for the whole duration of the breakfast time great place to get some work done in the morning as the bar doesn't get busy until later in the day :D

only little improved would be adding a shelf for each bed and a curtain 🥰 and the guy in the morning didn't set up the labels and breakfast table amazingly so i ended up filling my waterbottle with apple juice as it was labelled as so and my nose was too blocked to smell hahaha other than that everyone was very friendly and really good at putting you at ease

I’ve stayed at the London Bridge St Christopher’s and a few other St Christopher’s inns, around Europe, but this was my first time staying at the Camden branch, it was a little different this one, but still really good! I liked the Camden location, it has heaps of restaurants, supermarkets, bars (plus the Belushi bar and restaurant itself) very locally, a really cool club just down the road called KOKO, its very close to Regent’s Park and you can get around London very quickly, as it’s so near a couple of Northern line train stops. My bed was comfy, with a good charging socket, light, en-suite shower and a useful sink, in the room and good roommates from all around the world, who were good to chat to on NYE and the following day. The bar seemed fun and the staff were very welcoming, but this hostel’s Belushi’s bar area, was a little smaller than the other Belushi’s bars around Europe and I’m sure can get busy and have a really good vibe going, but seems a bit more chill than the others and was pretty quiet, when I was there during the day (no bad thing, as you get your food served fast), but if your looking to meet new people, there only around in the evening. Fun chill out area downstairs beneath the bar, where I got chatting to a couple of different groups each day, that was fun!

I had a top bunk in a 9 bed room, the overall room was really good, but I’m over 6 foot and going up and down my bunks ladder to get to the top bunk, was a bit annoying, because the little steps if you like, are so thin and actually a little painful, on the soles of your feet, as you had to be a little careful and slow at points. I think due to this hostel’s slightly smaller size, it is naturally a little quieter, but a few more group activities would be great (they do offer these, but only really once a day).

Large room with en suite. Pub downstairs. Great old fashioned building design. Heart of Camden.

Extremely loud doors. No matter how gently and slowly you try, ends with massive big bang. Top room 9, 2 sets one after another, external one even louder than internal door. En suite shower has bizarre thing - extremely massive water flow. Cannot be controlled if to have normal temperature of water. Only controllable if too cold or way too hot. So beware of anything sensitive, like eyes. Also lack of ventilation in en suite shower.
