This hostel is really well located in a lovely area, close to UCL and Regent Street. Very clean and the beds were comfortable. Kirchen facilities are also really good.

Not every bed has a cage or locker that can be used to secure valuables which is not the usual standard of a hostel. Many of the nights stayed in this hostel were really good except for two when a person stayed in the room (six bed female room) who was quite a bully toward the other people staying in that space. Sadly the staff were able to do little about it because the hostel was fully booked so relocating to another place was necessary but hopefully this doesn't happen often.

-The ground floor rooms are spacious and not too warm. -Beds are comfortable. -Generally clean throughout the rooms and communal areas. -Very well located, close to Oxford street and many of London's attractions. Plenty of places to eat nearby, lots of public transport and a small Tesco store less than 5mins walk away. -All the staff were friendly and helpful.

-The lift seems to have been broken for quite a long time, which would be problematic for people who have heavy luggage or are staying on the upper floors. -Most of the rooms don't have lockers and the luggage room is used at the owners risk.

The hostel is located within easy walking distance of public transport, major landmarks, shopping districts, places to eat, etc. There is a 24 hours reception. A large lounge area with a cafe/bar serves coffees, teas, alcohol and snacks at reasonable prices. Continental breakfast is served at an extra cost of around £5. There is a lift serving all floors. In the basement there is a well equipped kitchen to prepare, heat and store food. The basement also has a laundry room ( wash £3, dry £3, soap £1.20), to wash clothes and store luggage. Towels are not provided, but can be hired at an extra cost. It also has an iron/board and hairdryers. There is wi-fi throughout which can occasionally be weak. Each bed has a socket and light. There is also a fan in the room for communal use. Access to rooms, etc is by electronic key card, so security is not an issue but not all dorms have lockers.The housekeeping staff do an excellent job making sure that the dorms and hostel overall is clean every day. The staff are all friendly, and helpful. The hostel is well maintained. On the down side, there are no curtains to any beds. As a suggestion to the hostel, I think it would be helpful if the white key cards had some kind of mark like a coloured sticker on it because very often it is placed on the bed (white linen) while getting ready and left behind when the guest leaves the room. If it had a mark it would be easier to notice. Apart from that no complaints, I had a thoroughly good time and was lucky to share dorms (moved from 6 to 8 bed dorms) with considerate and friendly room mates. Thank you to all the staff. I will definitely be returning.

Really clean, great location. Easy check-in with friendly staff. Everything ready in the room on arrival.

The room was pretty incredibly hot. There were two fans and it still wasn’t enough to combat just how hot it was.

The location is great (quick walk to tube and buses), the building is new enough, the reception area is nice and inviting (we had a few meals there), the staff was friendly and also quick on check-in/check-out times. I liked that there are vending machines and also a water bottle refil station. Didn't use the self catering facilities, but my friend did and it's nice to know it's an option. The available breakfast is also a nice, though simple, option to fuel up for the day.

The beds were not uncomfortable, but they were definitely noisy. Also, we booked a room for women only, but it was clear there were men in the room right next door who we had to share a toilet and shower with (it would really be great to see some more thought there since many women choose women only rooms to feel safe). It would also be good for the building to have a second lift since there are five floors, but that's more of a plus than a necessity.

The location and staff were what we noticed first. Unbeatable! The reception staff were really engaging and helpful. We were 5 minutes walk from all the shops and pubs near Oxford Circus but actually on a quiet street if that makes sense. We booked a four bed dorm with a bathroom for the three of us. The room was small but clean and functional. Each bed had a reading light and a charging port. There were extra lounge and kitchen/meals areas to use which is pretty standard with a large hostel and most people we came across were up for a chat. There was also a local Tesco place around the corner open late if needed. Felt safe walking around the neighbourhood late at night no problems.

The mattresses were on the slim side, but not unexpected in a hostel setting.

This was my second time staying here, and overall, it was a really nice experience again. The bed was comfortable, and the room had just the right amount of space — not too big, but definitely not cramped. I appreciated the helpful staff and the shared amenities like the kitchen, fridge, and kettle — perfect for refilling a water bottle or making a quick tea. The beds are sturdy and don’t shake, which made for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom and shower were also clean and well-maintained. All in all, I’m happy with the stay and would definitely consider coming back. The price is reasonable, the location is convenient, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable.

To start with: the price is very competitive for this pretty central area, north of Soho. One can walk 20-30 minutes to Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, or the British Museum. The stuff was helpful. Our room had a private toilet.

As expected for an YHA, comfort is not the best feature. And every step outside the agreed price brings about additional costs. While towels are just 2.5 GBP per piece, a plug addaptor for your room is more expensive. Drinks in the common space are also as expensive as in any other bar or restaurant in London. I would not imagine staying here in sommer, when it is hot outside, as I did not see air conditioning, and the window barely opened for a bit of fresh air.

Everything is great , location, clean bedsheets,lockers, spacious rooms, bed light ,lift, laundry service, kitchen ,big fridges, luggage storage room,large seating space.

What's annoying - doors. The hinges need to be fixed so that it closes slowly with less noise as some people on purpose shut the door loudly.There should be rule to keep quiet if someone checks in late or check out early.Although l extended my stay, l couldn't sleep for 2-3 nights as some caused disturbance and were really rude . The laundry machine is filled with lints , didn't like the detergent bar. The toilet bowl has yellow stains, doesn't look clean and fresh.

The location is fantastic as well as the Cafe lounge. I loved the 24 hour concierge. The private bathroom and shower was super excellent as well as the AC and each bed had a light, charging port and little shelf. While not enough for everyone there was a locker available which was great.

Lack of privacy such a curtain around the beds. The AC was much needed but every half hour made a noise that was difficult to sleep through. The skylight above was very nice for extra light but was too much light at night.
