Room upgrade was a real bonus and free bar/ welcome drink vouchers were a nice touch, which we appreciated. Breakfast was included and this made the value of the stay worthwhile.

I did not like the room service charge of £7.50 added to my bill for requesting 2 bottles of water, which already cost £5.00 each. Please don't go down this road! you are not easyJet! Water was provided free in the room and as with many luxury hotels I have experienced, additional bottles should not be charged for let alone a delivery charge. I accepted the cost of £5.00 each but rejected the delivery charge; the cost is already at a premium. Also, the person who answered the room service request was not trained in a customer facing role and had no idea how to handle the request. I blame management for a lack of training.

The room I stayed in was super spacious and the front desk staff were super helpful and friendly. For a central London hotel the room sizes are generous. Whilst the hotel food was good, the service was slow, and as I was on my own I was mainly left alone. Not sure this is a hotel/ restaurant set up for solo travellers…

I booked into the hotel and was “upgraded” to a delux room on the 1st floor, which was cold and not in the slightest what I would expect from the Sanderson. I went back to reception and paid a small amount for an upgrade to a much better space. The corridor on the first floor feels really cheap

The staff at the hotel was outstanding. From the time I checked in (early) to the check out, I felt welcomed and taken care of. I had a medical emergency during my stay, and the staff went above and beyond to help me out. They allowed me to extend my stay till such time I was better, even though on the weekend they were sold out. I don't know how they did it, but that is hospitality at its finest. A big shout out to Elena and her manager for their kindness and grace. Location is perfect. Away from the noisy Oxford street, but close enough to walk everywhere. Great selection of restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood.

I loved everything. Be patient with the elevator - there was one working during out stay so it took a while to get into an elevator during peak hours.

Location is amazing. Huge room for London - booked deluxe for myself and son and daughter and huge bed and bed they had set up. Very minimal which I like Daughter said looked a bit like a hospital room which made me laugh as could see what meant but was very nice. Very comfy bed , clean , very quiet and reasonably priced mini bar Hotel itself reasonably priced too Nice touch for free cocktail voucher for 2 in the long bar and they are expensive so was lovely thanks! Definitely would be a go to when in London. Had booked as seeing singer at London palladium and easy walk. 20 min walk from Euston too and stones throw to Oxford St and Soho etc Lovely staff.

Nothing really

The Sanderson is a centrally located hotel, walking distance to almost everything but just out of the bustle. The staff here are amazing and helpful. There's a large bar with good cocktails. The room sizes are big for London and the beds are quite comfy.

There is a lot of glass and curtains in the rooms which aren't my cup of tea and need to be replaced or upgraded at some point. Not very private in the rooms if you're sharing. Property is starting to look old.

I will never stay in any other hotel in London apart from The Sanderson. They went above and beyond in every aspect an area of our stay! two staff members in particular I would like to mention by name are Mo & Shiv! Both these staff members are an absolute credit to the hotel and should be recognised for their outstanding service!! It was my birthday on the stay and they got me personalised balloons! All other staff members were also a delight! For a big chain you get boutique style service but better!! The rooms are absolutely stunning., big contemporary and spacious with the most comfortable beds ever!! The lobby and bar and snooker room are also so cools and very instagramable!

Very clean, great attitude from staff,especially Vito on reception and Lovidia at breakfast, perfect location for our visit to the London Palladium. Breakfast cooked to order which is always welcome as arrived hot as we appreciate, cocktail bar very trendy, DJ was really good, music very cool which made our evening drinks more enjoyable. Our room was extremely spacious, with slipper Bath and separate shower. The room had a lovely view of the post office tower which for someone who remembers it being the tallest building in Britain when first built was quite nostalgic.

Rooms a bit too minalmist, an easy to see clock for obvious reasons and some artwork would improve the character of the room

Loved the modern hotel. The staff on reception and all staff were fabulous. The breakfasts were amazing all of our group enjoyed so much choice however the full English was all that was needed until our evening meals of which we dinedout. The hotel was in a great area close to so much that we visited.

Not much we didn’t like. However music in the bar was loud as we were located above the courtyard which was nice. But we could hear loud music each night. Also lighting was dark in corridors. Also at the top of the stairs where there was a glass wall behind a curtain bit dangerous our group though. A few more lightbulbs around the hotel and toning down of bar music and we would return again.

The location was excellent for central London. The hotel was beautiful, it smelled wonderful throughout, I think it was their own room fragrance. Facilities were good, food & drink were great.

The finance department mistakenly charged me twice! It took several phone calls & emails to eventually get a refund, I finally got repaid FOUR weeks after check out! This has put me off going there again, which is a shame because the hotel was lovely.
