Lovely bed with windows that open!! Important . Delightful range of guests - smoking bench in car park is cool for meeting new travelling mates. Biker cafe - quite simply the best cafe I have ever been in anywhere - period. The breakfast chef is great and after breakfast you start thinking about buying a Harley or something . Thanks . Some cars in the car park in morning made alot of strange engine noises ....dodgy steering or something.

Fantastic Stay at Premier Lodge Our stay at the Premier Lodge was absolutely fantastic. The location was perfect, and the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. Everything we needed was provided—tea and coffee facilities, clean fluffy towels, an ironing board and iron, a fridge, and extra pillows. The attention to detail really made our stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily return in the future.

Last min place we needed to stay the night with parking, this was perfect, bed were comfortable I'm aware it's next to the main road but it's quiet at nighttime. Bathroom are either shared or private we got the private on and it's simple what u needed for 1 night. Tea and coffee making facilities was a bonus too. I have no issues for being a last minute place and it's right in town perfect walking distance to restaurants and bars/pubs

Upon arrival the room is clean, tidy and welcoming! There was tea and coffee making facilities, the room was small but cosy, bathroom was lovely and fresh, the television was a smart tv and we had access to all our favourite shows for the evening. I travelled for a family funeral and they made the stay as stress free as possible.

Cheap and cheerful, they booked us in very last minute which was very helpful.

Soundproofing was pretty bad, someone started practicing the recorder nearby at around 11.30pm and I was able to 'enjoy' that. Also someone was watching the football on TV near our room and we might as well have been watching it ourselves. But tbh we were in a pinch so it was much better than our alternative. Slept okay once most noise finally died off for the evening.

The hotel was very central for Morpeth. Booking in was very easy. The gentleman who booked us in was very helpful. When asked if he knew any eating places, he offered to get us a microwave if we decided to buy something in. Room was clean and lovely and warm. A bit tired but no complaints. Would definitely go back again.Good value for money. Thank you for a nice stay.

Asked for a room with a bath. Didn't realise it wouldn't have an overhead shower too. Would not stop us coming back. No complaints

For the money we paid the hotel was exceptional value for money. The rooms are not huge but very comfortable and clean and all we needed. The hotel is opposite Morrisons and very near Lidl and rest of town shops. We were driving a 3.5 tonne lorry which they advised could park in Lidl’s car park over night for free.

For the price it exceeded my expectations.

The Premier Lodge stands where dark lane and Damside meet on the fiercely popular A197 connecting the historic town of Morpeth and Newbiggin by the Sea. It's a one-minute walk to several excellent tourist sights, such as Morrisons, Next, and Lidl. The area immediately surrounding the hotel doesn't have much in the way of interesting restaurants or shops. But there are dining options and luxury stores, including Greggs, Wetherspoons and Costa only a few blocks away. At first appearance Premier Lodge rooms are elegant and airy. Bright walls, plenty of light streams through windows, and attractive period furniture, and textiles in soft shades add to the appeal. The well appointed rooms lack the welcoming champagne on ice and sweets at turndown that you’d expect from a hotel like Premier Lodge, but you can bring your own. The well appointed bathroom includes a shower, basin with taps, and a toilet. Included is a mirror (at no extra charge) that could very well remind a guest of a trip to the Palace of Versailles. I didn’t try any of the hotel amenities but I’d guess they lack the over-the-top decadence and pizazz for a property of this caliber. Who needs a business centre when the room has wifi with no dress code! On Friday and Saturday evenings, you can watch the local residents provide free live entertainment from the comfort of your room, and if you don’t feel like watching, you can listen to the performance as you relax in bed. I didn’t use the 24-hour room service, the concierge, valet parking, or chauffeur services but I’m certain that if the hotel offers this, it would be as world class as the rest of my experience. After saving for that once in a lifetime dream holiday to Morpeth, I was not disappointed.

It was great for the price. Excellent shower. TV good. Clean. Space to store clothes and other things. Kettle and tea/coffee provided.

Room at street level and a moderately busy road outside. I was careful about opening the window as people occasionally walked past. Other rooms available.

Perfect location with easy check in, free car park was ideal, clean and comfortable with a well stocked drinks tray, bath and shower with plenty of hot water. Corridors and cark park covered by CCTV so very secure. Would recommend and will use again when in the area. Also of note Morrisons store directly opposite does an excellent breakfast!

Not a criticism but on a personal note would have preferred another pillow, and do be patient with the hot water as it takes a while to come through, but fine when it does!
