Easy entry system; excellent provision of breakfast items in the room, regularly replenished. (The homemade granola was delicious). Decaff and full strength proper coffee; fresh milk and yogurt. Prompt attention to the (minor) issue with curtaining. Good to have comfy armchairs by the window to watch the world go by Loved the location and detail given re parking. Plenty of restaurants , cafes and bars in walking distance. [Note : an ice tray in the icebox might be a good addition]

Issue with curtains and their fixings =maintenance issue. However, a short term fix was promptly applied, pending a full re-hang.

Good location for Cotswolds generally, and Nailsworth in particular. My ‘flat’ was the Sorrel, one of 3 on first floor, accessed by 20 outside steps - those with difficulty walking, beware! Amenities are good with fridge containing milk, orange juice, apple & orange etc - ingredients for breakfast, supplemented by cereals, teabags & coffee to perk.

I would have preferred fresh rolls for breakfast - I guess logistics don’t allow. My flat was directly below the fourth flat (up a further flight of stairs). With wooden floors you can hear a pin drop and learn to go to bed when those upstairs do.

We had booked a special hotel for our 10th anniversary, but I messed up the dates and they had no availability so we had to find somewhere last minute. Being bank holiday weekend, almost everything was booked. On the first night, we managed to get a room in another hotel near where we had originally planned to stay. While we were grateful we had found somewhere, the experience was slightly marred by being very poor value. On the second night, we found this little gem. It was quite different than we had planned, and not in the same village, but we loved it. We had good communication from the owners. On arrival, we found good quality tea and coffee in the room, along with *fresh* milk (not UHT, which I was delighted about), fresh yogurt, apples and oranges, muffins, and some homemade granola, which was delicious. The bed was comfy, everything was spotlessly clean and it was in a lovely, quiet location. The lovely experience we had here more than made up for our disappointment the previous night.

From initial booking Matthew kept in touch and answered questions. The properrty was formerly a restaurant which has been converted to self catering and not self catering accommodation. We stayed in a room only which included a breakfast. The breakfast was a continental breakfast and there was plenty of it to choose from. Parking was not an issue, details of this were sent just before our stay. We will definately book for our next visit to the area.

Michael was very helpful and did his best to rearrange us after Booking com messed up the reservation. Very clean rooms, nice towels and bedding. Very clean.

Booking.com mixed up the booking and despite confirming a twin bedded room, requested a double bed when sending through the details to Wild Garlic Rooms. We are two friends and do not share beds. Michael managed to change us to a family room and I had to sleep in a child's room with bunk beds. Michael was very helpful, but the mistake was Booking.com. Not happy with them!

Lovely comfortable room. A great view of the goings-on of Nailsworth from the very comfortable armchairs in the big bay window that let in the sun. Great breakfast things including the nicest granola ever. A great stay - we love Nailsworth and Wild Garlic rooms is such a brilliant place to stay in terms of location and facilities. No problem parking behind The Brit. Close to all the shops and restaurants. We have stayed before in the loft room and will stay again. We preferred this double room for the window and the view out. We were lucky the sun was shining! A super weekend.

Great location, spacious clean rooms. Multiple restaurants and pubs within walking distance, co-op, Tesco & bottle shop close by. Nice walking tracks also close by

Internet did not work for the whole week, bed was not that confortable, nice wine glasses would have been nice.

Easy instructions received by email from Matthew The welcoming smelt fresh and clean on entering. Comfortable beds. A really good night sleep An iron and ironing board was a bonus. The view sitting in the front bay window overlooking the quaint shops in the village. The room has everything you need and more. Proper coffee and not coffee granules. Good idea heaters available in the foyer if needed. Perfect location. Plenty of shops, restaurants and eateries near by. We would definitely stay again.

Not meeting Matthew on arrival. A pair of canvas pumps left under the bed should have been removed before our stay. No drawers to put your smalls in, socks etc. The ironing cupboard door did not shut properly. The kettle was noisy.

We stayed in a family room, which consisted of two good-sized rooms: one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed. The bathroom was a good size, light and airy, It is very conveniently situated with restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, etc, within a couple of minutes' walk. Although there isn't a car park there is a large free car park just across the road. Very convenient. I would most certainly stay again.

We only stayed for one night and everything was fine.

Our room, Elderflower, was on the first floor with a large bay window overlooking Cassock Square. It had internal blinds and blackout curtains.The room was immaculately clean, the shower excellent and the double bed very comfortable! The continental breakfast, eaten in the room, included muffins, homemade granola, yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruit, as well as orange juice and fresh coffee or tea- more than enough until lunch!
