So much I liked about the property! 1. Beautiful setting 2.Very welcoming, especially when we arrived near midnight after attending a festival at The bowl in Milton Keynes. The lights had been left on and the directions were brilliant 3.An extra bed put in place for my son, who had asked to come to the festival shirt minute, and I asked if he could stay aswell! 4.Everything for tea and coffee making was on the table for us phew! And a few biscuits. 5. Shower essentials ie:Shampoo/conditioner was in the bathroom, which was a wonderful extra surprise for us especially coming from a very very hot festival environment and hottest day of the year. 5. Lovely crisp sheets and towels were fabulous 6. The hosts were so lovely and friendly, made my day being offered Avocado and poached eggs for breakfast ( due to being a veggie ) So, Thank you Your hospitality shone just like the sun was this morning . Thank you

It was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities; kettle, coffee, tea biscuits, wi-Fi and parking directly outside the accommodation. It was quiet with lovely views. The hosts, Ed and Laura, were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was in the main house and was delicious. A selection of cereal, orange juice, full English breakfast, toast, marmalade/jam and coffee.

I wouldn’t say it was a dislike, more of a concern in bad weather. Breakfast is in the main house, only a few metres next to the accommodation, so you would have to brave the elements in bad weather to get breakfast. Fortunately the me the weather was good, so it wasn’t an issue.

I loved the little hobbit hole annex with views over the garden and a meadow. The family was wonderful and friendly, as were their two lovely puppies and breakfast was a marvellous communal affair with well-prepared food and catering to my partner's gluten allergies. I stayed for a night because we were visiting someone in Milton Keynes but I might book a longer stay myself in the future just to stay there again.

Breakfast was excellent,in a lovely dining room. The hosts were very willing to provide us with whatever we needed including fresh milk on arrival for our tea. They were friendly and helpful in suggesting places for us to eat in the evening. Our room was great with views over the garden to the front and back. We even had two chickens coming to say hello! The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom a good size.

The hot tap in the sink was very difficult to turn on and only gave a trickle of water but we managed. We didn’t mention it to the hosts as they were so accommodating and friendly.

Second time I've stayed and it was just as good as the first. Friendly hosts, small but cosy room and amazing breakfast. Conveniently located near to MK for work and great value - will definitely be back.

I stayed in the annex, and it was beautifully set up with a comfy bed, tea and coffee making facilities, and a good size TV. The Wi-Fi was brilliant with no connection issues, and the bathroom was spacious and allowed for hot showers after a long day! The location was beautiful, with plenty of surrounding countryside that made for a very peaceful stay, and the terrace that is part of the annex was nice (although the ever-changing British August weather meant I wasn't able to really sit outside). Yvonne was an exceptional host, giving me yogurt and fruit to take with me as I was leaving too early for the cooked breakfast on two of the days that I was staying, but took the time to call me on my last night to see if I wanted cooked breakfast in the morning, which was lovely :)

Really nice little room with adjoined bathroom. It was quite small, but it was perfect for what I needed. Nice and warm, plenty of parking, the owners were really nice and pleasant and breakfast was freshly cooked and wonderful. Nice choice of cereals, toast or full cooked breakfast, orange juices and tea/coffee. I would definitely use Church End again if I need it.

The kettle in the room needs descaling and that's really my only comments about things I didn't like.

Beautiful spot, just in the country but not a million miles from "civilisation". Nice accommodation, very clean. The owners are lovely people and very helpful. On top of this, very nice choice of breakfast. We would happily stay again

Being picky, our hot water tap was very stiff. That's all, and I bet it's fixed by now

Everything...so helpful when booking my stay (the day before) I was sent directions with pictures to help me find the accommodation. The room and ensuite were spotless. WiFi connection was seamless and very reliable. Super comfy bed, felt very cozy...just what I needed after working a long day. The breakfast matched the room 10/10. I will definitely be back next time I'm working in the area. Thanks for making me feel so welcome.
