So Peaceful. We loved feeding the ducks. It was blissful, quiet and calm. Not much to do there so wouldn't recommend for kids that want a park, no club house. It's literally just what we needed.
Deck under the trees was nice for privacy. Unfortunately there was a lot of bird poo on the table and chairs so we had to clean up when we arrived to use them. The deck also needed brooming too, fortunately there was a broom available for us to brush away the tree debris. It was fine though, we loved our stay and would still go back. However the bed has given my wife some back trouble, she felt the springs. So maybe not. Wifi doesn't work at all even for browsing. That needs updating/fixing.

A beautifully maintained park and lodge: clean, very spacious, well cared-for, and peaceful during week days. Hot tub was well maintained, and the view of the lake and its many inhabitants was lovely. Our sat nav got very confused and sent us in circles until we realised that the park is accessed from the garden centre's service road. Garden centre has a cafe and also sells fancy groceries and has a butchers too.
We didn't expect the long walk on chunky gravel from the car park and arrived after Reception had closed so we couldn't borrow one of their pull-along carts to transport our stuff on arrival. Even with a cart, it's hard going! Car parking is in demand and if you're one of the last in then it can be tricky to find a spot - this could be solved by everyone else parking better though.

Property is well maintained. Cabins are spacious, clean with good quality finishes. Scenery on the lake is beautiful. We had cabin 19 with perfect views. Communal parking area and a short walk to our cabin which was fine. Lots of local shops close by. Hot tubs in excellent condition and were a big hit with our girls. The park is prettier than some of the pictures online so it was an extra pleasant surprise to get there!
Access to some extra towels and pillows could be helpful. And maybe a couple of extra toilet rolls (my daughter dropped hers in water, so a replacement would have been helpful;). *gravel and grass combination / steps would make access to cabins difficult for wheelchairs so maybe that could be made clearer.

Lovely place and a great location! Very spacious chalet with a great terrace overlooking the lake and a big hot tub! Comfortable beds, one bathrooms and one shower room. Again spacious kitchen and open plan living and dining space. All clean and well equipped for 4 guests. It was all great for the brief retreat I was needing.
There was nothing I didn't like. The only thing that annoyed me a bit was that there were kids next door who became quite loud whilst clearly playing in the hot tub like it was a paddling pool. But that's more about how parents were managing the space really. So perhaps useful to manage expectations that it's more of a place for families than for a retreat, though it felt very peaceful most of the time.

Incredible location next to the lake, fantastic space and amenities within the lodge. Tucked away with little to no noise from vehicles or other guests. Surrounded by wildlife too. Easy access to nearby towns and the coast. Fantastic hot tub, nice and secure with gated access. A lot to love about this place. Friendly greeting by staff on arrival with a stress free check in & out process.
I can't really fault it. If I was being really picky I would say no complimentary shower gel or shampoo. Also the complimentary WiFi does not allow streaming or downloading so if you want to watch netflix you can't unless you use your phone WiFi. Both of which are really trying to find things wrong as neither had a detrimental impact on our stay but others may wish to know.

Lovely lodge, neatly presented and clean. Had a lakeside view with hot tub which was excellent. Location was very good, short drives to beach and shops/takeaways etc. WiFi worked well for basic uses, which is all we needed and tried.
Would be easier if you could take your car round to the cabin, at least for unloading/loading. Cabins near the car park seemed a little too close together for my liking but we stayed in lodge 21 which was round the corner and has more privacy. Two loo rolls seems a little stingy!

Location and friendly staff. Good with an en-suite bathroom for the Master bedroom. Spacious lounge and comfortable sofas that could be moved to suit family time with and without watching telly.
Lack of kitchen equipment for 4 persons - we had to wash-up after every meal so that we had cutlery for the next - basic cooking equipment was in short supply. Note that only the hot tub part of the terrace is screened off and has some privacy whereas the rest of the terrace is fully open to view. Also, leading off from the master bedroom is a small dressing room with a small window high up on the wall. This window has no curtain and ensures FULL and BRIGHT daylight in the master bedroom at the crack of dawn. Not an issue if you are a deep and sound sleeper and a major one if you are not. Hot tip - put one of the pillows in the window frame to block the morning light as there is a perfect fit pillow-to-window. However we would know....

This was our third visit to Warren Wood and it will not be our last. The lodges are very well equipped. The beds are extremely comfortable with good quality bed linen. The lodges are warm and in a lovely, quiet location. The hot tubs are a great bonus. Upon arrival the lodges are equipped with complimentary tea/coffee/milk and sugar. They also supply washing up liquids and t. towels as well as dishwasher tablets (a great starter kit)! Some of the lodges are situated around a large pond. The lodges are located approximately 14 minute drive from Eastbourne. We hope to be returning very soon! :)

Good Location, close to Knockhatch Park, Drusilla's, Eastbourne and lots of points of interest. Great hot tub, secure gate, cosy lodge, spacious rooms, fridge freezer, microwave, TV's, everything was easy and organised. Nice but nothing special.
I wish the lodge had air con, or at least fans to cool it down. The lack of toilet paper and bin bags was also annoying and as the site is almost always unmanned we had to go out and source these ourselves. Our Lodge (number 3) could definitely use a lick of paint (scratches and dents all over the walls) also lots and lots of dust high up in the kitchen with numerous dead bugs caught in spiders webs. The TV is horrendously slow as well. Poor phone signal. The beds and pillows aren't comfy. The Lodge rules are no music after 10pm but other Lodges weren't obeying to this rule but nobody on site to enforce it. The site is boring, no entertainment. Do not book here if you aren't going to spend days out, it'll be a snoozefest.

Location was fine, cabin lovely. Sparkling clean. Christmas tree a nice touch. Warm and comfortable with a nicely remote vibe.
Very slippery decking between the door and the hot tub. I was unable to access the hot tub easily as I am disabled and very concerned about slipping and falling. A non-slip surface would be transformational here. Also the walk in shower had no mat or grab rail so slips and falls were a worry. Taking luggage to the cabins would have been much simplified if there were a couple of 'festival trolleys' on site or wheelbarrows.
