Beautiful Inn set in very quiet hamlet/village of sutton. Lovely bar and restaurant area with also lovely outside seating areas. Has a real summer vibe to the place. Food was very nice and tasty breakfast. Rooms were tastefully decorated and lit. Loved the large shower and very comfy bed slept well. Family trip 6 of us and dog and dog friendly. Booking.com didn't give me the option of family room for 3 but phoned hotel and they changed room to double with pull out sofa bed no problem which was outside in very nice chalet out back. Looking to rebook in September

Nothing not to like. Not inn's fault but just be aware. Booking.com class it as Pulborough its not its sutton. Unfortunately there is a white horse pub in Pulborough and apparently we were not the first to follow Google maps to white horse Pulborough and then find out its 15 mins down road. So make sure you use postcode in sat nav.

Great hosting. Superb Sunday lunch. Excellent location. Pretty little village. Great terrace.

Bed was a standard double. Could have been a little bigger. Stayed Monday and didn't have the breakfast as the pub was closed, had a small continental choice which was ok, but disappointed as the cooked breakfast was lovely!

Delightful place to stay in the pretty little village of Sutton in the Pulborough area. Great if you are attending a wedding at one of the many nearby venues (like we were), or if you want to visit some great local vineyards. Lovely rooms and facilities, very clean and high quality. The restaurant menu has something for everyone. The food was excellent, not a single complaint and pretty similar to Michelin standards. The staff are super welcoming and friendly. Special thanks to Billy (the landlord) for being so helpful and making our stay so wonderful. We said we would have to skip breakfast on our first morning as we had an early start for the wedding, so Billy had fresh pastries delivered to our rooms instead - what a thoughtful, kind gesture! We'd be happy to stay again the next time we're in the Pulborough area.

This is an exceptional hotel in a quiet country village location. Everything about it is class. We felt welcomed and at home from the moment we walked in. Our room and the hotel’s attention to detail was faultless. The staff were excellent and attentive. Our dinner was top notch. Every place we stay in from now on will be measured against the White Horse.

It was perfect

We were warmly welcomed, and every effort was made to explain the various facilities. The management and staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. The cuisine in the restaurant was superb on the two nights we ate at the White Horse, and the breakfasts were also very good.

A wider selection on the restaurant menu would have been desirable if we had been staying longer. It was absolutely for our relatively short stay.

All of the hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly and efficient. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the rooms and social areas were very stylish and tastefully decorated. The bar and restaurant warm and welcoming. Breakfast was extremely good with quality ingredients cooked beautifully.

We have stayed here many times and we always enjoy our visit. The facilities are first class and the staff are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The evening meal and the breakfast are well worth the visit.

The White Horse staff were exceptionally attentive and helpful. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed. We loved it. Probably the best accommodations on our trip so far!!

This was our second visit and once again the hotel exceeded expectations. The breakfast set a benchmark for others to emulate. Highly recommended.

The location is awkward to reach but well worth the effort.

A quaint little village and a top notch hotel right in the middle of it. Large room, great bed, great amenities and a wonderful bathroom. Dinner was excellent, really fine dining. Caring and attentive service throughout our stay.
