A nice enough pub/hotel with comfortable room, decent menu (1 lovely vegetarian option) and excellent staff. Towels changed daily. Tea/coffee facilities topped up daily.

I have joint problems and found it difficult to open all the security/fire doors with a card and carry stuff up & down steps inside & out. My basin was blocked & bubbling up to the top for 2 days before being fixed. The shower was very hot but the control knob was loose, so difficult to get temperature just right. Unfortunately, I probably had the worst ground floor room by the car park as people, chatting & smoking right outside the window, plus bright security lights on all night. There were thick curtains which I did use, but I prefer natural light. Other rooms may have been a lot more agreeable. It was comfortable but not worth £100 a night!!

The room was comfortable, large bed and tea and coffee. The hotel was close to seaham

We arrived at 845pm due to 2 roads being closed having driven up from Nottingham. We were told we were too late for food. Had to go and find a takeaway which the area by the hotel had drug deals going on! The reception staff weren't the most welcoming! Would have been nice for a little treat to be left in the room for our dog

I adore coming back to this annex and indulging in the food here . It has good size rooms for family also my xtra fur babies are always made super welcome . They were super understanding in regards to my medication after traveling with my prescriptions First time for my medication here and they have been so supportive with no negatives Always feel super blessed here with the team

There is nothing I can moan about my self and family and fur babies keep coming as there such a great team here

There wasn't really anything for us to take issue with. The one thing that I had to do something about was what always happens and I should know to be prepared by now. There is never a mirror suitable for a lady to do her make-up - one with a light over it or a movable one that can be put in good light. Went out and bought my own this time and it will live in my travel bag!

This is a fantastic place to stay the bar is rustic and fantastic service, food and buffet morning breakfast was included 👌 top notch staff very friendly. This was one of the most positive experiences of a hotel bar and restaurant combined we have stayed in a long time. Dog friendly we don't have a pet but it's not off putting the facilities are large enough to accommodate everyone including fur babies. Rooms very quiet at night situated in linked buildings had music one of the nights had early night could not hear a sound from the bar.

We have been to the Seaham area several times and this is the best place we have stayed. The room was small but had ample storage so didn't feel too small. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was of ample size and the large shower with rain type shower head was invigorating. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff very friendly and helpful.

The room was a little chilly the first night and we couldn't figure out how to adjust the temperature. The next night was very comfortable.

We stayed one night and had breakfast and dinner at the property. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom. The food was great quality, both at dinner and breakfast. I really appreciated the fact the menu included many British classics - porridge, eggs Benedict/Florentine, full English breakfast, mince and dumplings, pies, fish and chips, sticky toffee pudding, etc. Bobbie and her colleagues were welcoming and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. We needed a late check out and that was arranged for a very small fee. The Inn and its restaurant are pet friendly.

After a little while, and especially when the heating was on, you could smell a pet had been a guest in the room at some point in the past. The smell was pungent and, while it wasn't necessarily a deal breaker for us, it could be an issue for others.

Great and helpful staff. Nice clean room. Dog friendly with nice area for late night and early morning walks. Good food evening meal and breakfast. All the staff went out of their way to help. Good atmosphere in bar and restaurant areas.

We are new to this but I found it difficult to manoeuvre in the room with the big manual posture wheelchair. I think a normal wheelchair would not have any problems.

The inn is really well set up. It's clearly loved by locals for a drink or a meal, then the rooms are off to one side and are quiet - the windows and curtains are well insulated so no road noise bothers you in the room. Friendly staff who seem like they enjoy working there. Great hot breakfast options.

Room of good quality , spacious, … as described(easy accessible). Staff … in particular the male bartender … very helpful and efficient.

Slightly disappointed with meal quality … chips with one of the fish and chips meals (of two) a little undercooked. Breakfast … bacon and mushrooms a little overcooked … but this was near end (about 9.15 a.m.) of the breakfast session.
