Friendly welcoming and accommodating hosts. Paul and Suzy really do go out of their way for you. We had to leave our car at a driven to location until morning, and Paul very kindly gave us a lift the next morning to pick it up. The relaxed checkout is a bonus, and I can honestly say we have never had this anywhere else we have stayed before. Both are very knowledgeable and interesting people who are enjoying what they do, and it shows. We loved hearing your stories and Pauls jokes, too. Thank you
Paul wouldn't let us slide down the bannister !! Lol There was nothing we didn't like.

Susie and Paul were amazing hosts. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Paul is a comic, he is forever telling jokes, his jokes are older than the King. Lol. But the old ones are the best. They are both very knowledgeable about the area and beyond. Lots of tips on where to eat, what to do, where the best places to go are. Breakfast, the choice is amazing. Cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice , plus a choice of a hot meal, and toast and jam/marmalade. All freshly cooked while you have your cereal and beautifully presented. They even message before you arrive to see if you have any allergies, preferences or anything you particularly like. They go out of their way to provide you with the best experience. The bed was very soft and comfortable. The room was spotless. There was even fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge when we arrived and 2 cupcakes on the side for us. Staying at the Marmalade was a wonderful experience and we will definitely give Susie and Paul a ring if we go back to Torquay. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.
Nothing.

Paul and Sue were so welcoming on arrival, lovely couple. Not to far from town and sea front. Bedroom was beautiful with on suite facilities including shower gel and shampoo if required. Breakfast was pre ordered as everything is cooked from scratch and your given a time as Sue likes to make sure everyone gets there breakfast hot and not waiting around. We arrived Saturday 10th August changed and started to walk into town and sea front, next minute Paul pulls up and gives us a lift as my husband is on crutches, we were very touched by the gesture. Breakfast was amazing and we had a good chat with Sue and Paul they were very knowledgeable of the area and participate in the community helping out. They have lived a very eventful life which was fascinating to hear. Wish we could of stayed longer. We did try and book 2 night stay but website wouldn't let us. If your looking for a home from home B&B then look no further would highly recommend Marmalade B&B. The website need to confer with accommodation as we felt let down cause we could only book 1 night. Sue and Paul carry on what your doing.
There was nothing not to like about Marmalade and its hosts, your not pressured to check out early you can leave as you like. So chilled we loved it there, will definitely be returning.

Everything from being able to park on site, welcome from Suzy and Paul, the accommodation which included free wifi, large flat screen tv, on suite bathroom with shower, comfortable bed and tea/coffee making facilities. Suzy and Paul were wonderful hosts, such a lovely welcome. The room was lovely, with a lovely big bathroom. Bed was so comfortable, one of the best nights sleep we've had in a B&B. Breakfast was great, fruit, cereal, yogurt followed by a full English and eggs and salmon. Very relaxed check out, just a general lovely feeling. Suzy and Paul clearly love what they do. Would stay again.
There was nothing to dislike.

The hosts were really wonderful and welcoming. They answered our questions on restaurant recommendations. They were relaxed and chatted to us. The parking outside was good. The room was good, comfy and clean. It had everything you needed for a short stay. The breakfast was nice and there was a good selection of items. Good walking distance to centre and in a good place to explore the surrounding areas.

Fantastic stay with Suzy and Paul. They went above and beyond what they needed to do Firstly neither of us drive so arrived by coach. I emailed Suzy to ask for a number of a local taxi company. Instead of giving a number she asked what time we were arriving and said she would pick us up. Paul also dropped us back the day we left Really kind. The room itself was lovely, with a large bathroom. A nice touch was that we had been left 2 cupcakes in our room that were delicious. Breakfast was a varied choice that was ordered the morning before and was amazing. I couldn't pick a favourite everything was fresh hot and perfect. Both Suzy and Paul took time out to chat and their stories were so interesting as was their local knowledge. They told us buses to catch and loads more to help our days out. Just a wonderful stay.
Nothing. Everything was perfect for our stay

Great value for money! Cosy and homely! The hosts suzy and Paul we're amazing from their attention to detail, bubbly personalities and giving ideas on where to visit and eat. Freshly cooked breakfast + continental, excellent variety. Good sized rooms with all the essentials. Cosy and comfortable bed, pillows. Bath robes provided and towels. Freshly baked queen cakes on arrival, tea, coffee, hot chocolates in room. Best of all fresh milk in the mini fridge and water! Car parking. 10 minute walk to the harbour / 20 minute approx to the centre.
All excellent 😊 Suggestion only for a box of tissues in room.

I'm so pleased we booked to stay a few days at Marmalade B&B , the hosts were a fabulous couple called Paul & Suzy who made our stay as comfortable as they could and went above and beyond to help us or get us things for our room etc. We had a lovely, freshly cooked, hot breakfast cooked fresh to order by Suzy, which was delicious. The bedroom was comfortable and had everything in it. Suzy even made little cakes in our room to welcome us, what a lovely touch mmmmm! Thank you! We would definitely recommend you stay here and if were back up that way we will definitely be booking again. Thank you Paul & Suzy , love Lynn & Peter Sells xx
