It was a fabulous stay at the Cranmore B & B, Teresa & Mark could not do enough for you, even the slightest issue of which there was only 1 or 2 from memory was quickly and efficiently sorted... It was a fantatastic breakfast with many options and the hot options cooked to perfection. The room was excellent and the bed very comfortable, Location just right, in all you cant fault this place, we have stayed in many hotels and B & B's, this is the best we have stayed at and would not hesitate to return or recommend...

Very clean and comfortable guesthouse. Hosts are very friendly and have thought of little touches. Room had tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, hairdryer, a fan and shower gel. Good location, around a 15-20 minute walk to Torquay seafront and parking right outside. Plenty of roadside parking nearby if the guesthouse spaces are full. Amazing cooked breakfast, one of the best I’ve ever had! Very enjoyable stay and we will be back!

The hosts, Mark and Teresa are lovely and very welcoming. The room was cosy, exceptionally clean and was equipped with everything we needed. The guesthouse is just a ten-minute walk from the beach where you can find lots of bars and restaurants and Teresa gave us lots of recommendations on things to see or do.

The breakfast was excellent food cooked to a high standard and hot comfort cleanliness in room and bathroom where perfect Teresa and mark made us feel like being at home nothing to much trouble nice complimentary tray good idea they use with the milk would highly recommend this place close to train station and all attractions

The owners were amazing. Couldn’t do enough for you. We were a group of divers, they moved breakfast around to suite us which isn’t normal. (Full English was tasty) The guest house was absolutely spotless and the beds we comfy, it did exactly what it said on the tin. Would highly recommend.

it was exceptionally clean, very comfortable, despite being in a town once inside you felt cocooned it was so calm. Rules were few but clearly stated that guests considered each other in terms of using the property and whether they were early or later risers. We didn’t hear the comings and goings of any other guests during our stay. Breakfast was superb, served in a lovely room by a smiling and helpful landlady. Transport links are very easy, so much so we didn’t use the car all week, saving on parking fees. The number 12 bus - a five minute walk takes you into town and as far as Paignton and Brixham. From Paignton you can go further afield- we went as far as Plymouth @ £2 per journey. The steam railway is a must do.

We wouldn’t change a thing and would like to be able to bottle the ambience to take home.

When entering the Cranmore, Mark and Teresa introduced themselves and gave us a very warm welcome. Each area of the B&B that we used was spotlessly clean, bright, fresh smelling, and good decor. The bed was very comfy, and the complimentary drinks tray in our room was well stocked up each day with good quality tea, coffee, and biscuits. Good size bottles of shower gel, cream, and shampoo were to hand and a hairdryer. We had a roadside room, but traffic noise wasn't a problem, and if it was, Teresa & Mark had thought of everything and left earplugs in one of the bedroom drawers. Breakfast is freshly cooked, with a good selection of choice, and was absolutely delicious. Our juice, tea, and coffee were topped up regularly. Nothing was too much trouble for Teresa and Mark. They and their B&B were absolutely incredible, and our stay in Torquay was made even more enjoyable knowing we were going back each evening to this remarkable B&B.

It would be more pertinent to tell you that there was NOTHING that we did not like about the Cranmore. Our hosts, Teresa and Mark, we're attentive, friendly and professional throughout our stay. They were knowledgeable of the area and always asked about places that we visited, taking a genuine interest in our holiday. The house was very clean, the room serviced EVERY day and the breakfast choice, quality and quantity was exceptional.

Was what i expected. Only thing if possibly to consider a small outside stting area, for hot summer evenings.

We liked the property as we had been there 23 years ago. Reminiscing, same room, lovely decor and furnishings, different owners, Teresa & Mark, lovely couple, friendly and attentive to our needs. Situated just outside the town, walking distance. Off road parking, plenty of on road parking if needed. Breakfast was lovely, cereal, juice, fresh fruit, cooked breakfast, toast, my favourite jam, blackcurrant which set us up for the day. What more could you ask for. We would highly recommend The Cranwell.
