The room was compact, and pleasantly decorated. The bed was a good size, and comfortable, the desk and chair in the window bay was a good idea, as was the tub chair to the side of the bed, with a bedside table and light to the left side of the bed. The en suite bathroom was small but had a good layout with a big mirror, and light over the sink.

A potential electrical safety issue, there was a double socket beside the desk, one of the sockets powered the television, but the other socket was connected to an extension lead with multiple socket outlets for the fridge, and kettle leaving a spare outlet for guests to use. It would be preferable to have further sockets professionally installed by a registered electrician to prevent possible overloading of the supply, and reduce the fire risk. The bottom of the entrance door was scraping on the carpet making the door difficult to open, this could be an issue for an older, or infirm guest.

Very good price, cheapest in Torquay by far. About a 10 minute walk from the beach and the town centre/shops (although it's up hill). And 15 minutes from the train station. Bed was very comfy. And came with a (small) fridge. Was a very quiet in the room. TV, although small, did it's job. The host (can't remember his name) was very nice. Pubs and corner shops within a minute walk.

The bathroom was very small, and the shower had pretty low pressure. The layout of the room could be altered for more room. Some dirty/dusty areas, but nothing too bad.

From the moment I entered the property I knew I was in for a great stay. The owner greeted me so friendly and explained where everything was and told me of I needed anything just to let him know and he made a point of ensuring everything was okay throughout my seven day stay. The room was perfect for my needs and especially quiet. I would highly recommend this place.

Cleanliness of the property and the property looked inviting the room we had was a family room and it was a lovely room the beds were very comfortable and with the hot weather fans were provided without having to ask for them. The host was fantastic very very accommodating and made our stay very enjoyable.

There was not a thing that we did not like about the property

The B & B is in a great location and is less than a 10 minute walk to beach and cafes/restaurants . A further 5 mins walk and you reach the harbour where a good selection of restaurants awaits you. There are regular bus connections to neighbouring towns such as Paignton and Totnes, ferry rides to Brixham and Dartmouth and trains that run to Exeter. The host at The Trouville was most welcoming, always smiling and very helpful 😊

Subri and archi were amazing hosts Nothing was too much for them and they made you apart of they family From the moment we step through the door till we. Left are experience was outstanding it was that good we have booked to go back down in September The breakfast was amazing and you could tell that it was locally sourced . The beach was 10 minutes walk and the bus service was excellent The room was lovely and the bed if I could of took it home with me I would have done it was that comfortable They provided a fan in the room due to the hot weather and we had a mini fridge which had water in it . It very quiet at night so you definitely get a good night sleep

Well I was under the impression that breakfast was included but unfortunately not.... I found that a bit poor..... Also no fresh towels everyday not so good but owner was a very nice person so I'm only saying what could have improved

Archi and Subir were excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Very attentive. The breakfast was all made with high quality ingredients. Our room was very clean and fresh. Archi surprised me with a beautiful gift, which made my eyes leak a little. Thank you again. Fantastic, beautiful people. We even had a sea view 🥰

Not that we didn't like it but the room was a little small for our needs. My other half is a big fella. 😆 But I'm sure if they'd had another room.... the place was fully booked, they would have moved us if we'd asked. But we managed.

Parking was difficult , there are 2 spaces allocated at the rear of the property ,but these were taken therefore had to street park. There is an area outside for 1 hour stay no return which ideal for dropping off bags

The location is amazing. Just a quick walk from all the main places in Torquey. Right next to some shops and some local bars and pubs. The staff was amazing, very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend for couples or small family's.

If I was picky I would say the bathroom is a little small but it wasn't a problem at all.
