It was very central with everything within easy reach. The staff were very helpful and friendly, happy to accommodate having takeaways if desired and provide plates etc. I didn’t order breakfast but they were happy to add this as and when if I wanted to. It was exactly as described and the pictures reflect it accurately. Huge cups for the coffee in the morning which was great.

The door to the bathroom didn’t close completely, not necessarily an issue but it did drift open and the light from the shower unit was enough of a distraction to make me get out of bed to close the door again

Warm welcome from a lovely helpful host. Enjoyable 3 nights, with gorgeous weather in October! Spacious room, very clean & a cosy large bed. Was able to get into my room earlier as it was ready, & leave my luggage in the hotel while l had another walk about in beautiful Torquay on the day of departure. Lots of information in the room on places of interest which l made use of, & Steph gave me a map of the area..all appreciated. 5 mins walk to beach, 10 mins walk to a large shopping centre..22 bus goes everywhere! Torre & Torquay train station 10/15 mins walk to hotel from different directions. I felt perfectly safe in that area & in the hotel. Thank you 😊

The room was lovely and the host Simon was very welcoming and friendly, helped us find places to park. There was always parking close by available and it was in a great location with easy access to the seafront and local areas. Our room was cleaned daily and it definitely made us looked after.

There was a lot of stairs and the room was very warm but we had a fan in our room so we were grateful for that.

Lovely host Steph is , very friendly to us on arrival told us all about places we can go in the town from restaurants to pubs, rooms were lovely and clean tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom Very close to the town. lovely breakfast in the morning Would highly recommend anyone to stay in this property Thank you again for everything we hoped to come back and stay at your guest house again soon Bonnie and Jamie

Was very clean room and nicely organised comfy staff was great and friendly very welcoming we will defiantly recommend and use this place more times went as after gift for gf birthday and my son come they was great and very good place comfy and feels relaxed better then most hotels Thanks again to Steph and Simon from Dan bobbi and James

Steph and Simon were lovely,very friendly and couldn't do enough for us was great that we wasn't too far from the beach either,was lovely that they were both from the west midlands the same as me,breakfast was amazing and delicious,steph very knowledgeable and was happy to recommend places to go visit or eat out for food and also showing us where the bus stops were to get to where we wanted. Thank you for a lovely stay and we shall see you again soon

Very hospitable and helpful hosts. The location was great. It was within walking distance of the beach and marina and near to where the land train stops. The room itself was very comfortable, a sound sleep was had by all and the en-suite included a decent walk-in shower. There was so much on the doorstep and street parking wasn't difficult to find. Highly recommended.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay here. Room was brilliant well equipped and very comfortable and my partner really enjoyed the bath. Owners were very friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful about the local area on where to eat and go. If we stay in Torquay again we will definitely look if this place is available and good location, great value for money and the breakfast was excellent 10/10

This hotel is a gem amongst a row of guest houses along the road. We were very welcomed as soon as we arrived by Stephanie, who by the way is the local oracle! What she doesn’t know about the local area is not worth knowing! She gave us so many tips about good places to eat and visit. Lovely welcoming family. Our room was lovely, we had a large superking size bed and the most beautiful bath! Our room was spotlessly clean when we arrived and serviced every day of our stay. Lovely little touches like tea and coffee, and a little bowl of sweets, also soap in the bathroom! The location is perfectly situated for the seafront and town and is within easy reach of public transport. This place exceeded my expectations and we will definitely be back with more family next time. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Owners were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was nice. The room was spacious and bright with an ensuite shower room.

I know they're renovating so they wont mind me saying the bathroom is a bit outdated. This room will be amazing with a refit. Power socket nearest the bed was not working either, but again, with the reno, I'm sure it will be super again.
