We stayed here because of its proximity to RHS Wisley. The rooms are comfortable if a little basic. The meals are plentiful and delicious. All the staff are very attentive and go the extra mile to be helpful. There is a lovely outdoor seating and dining area, with picnic tables and flowering tubs.

Some areas needed a good sweep and a dust The dining area still had the weekends wedding confetti on the floor , and our room had tea spills down the walls. Our shower head was loose and would not stay up in position. The car park cost at £10 per day comes as a shock, especially when you are staying there. I dont think it's their car park?

It’s a charming olde world coaching inn with lot of original beams & panelling. We only stayed for one nights bed & breakfast as we had an evening event at Wisley Gardens which is a short drive away. We had the bridal suite (room 1) which has a four poster bed very comfortable & room very clean. The glass walled conservatory is a great place to have breakfast with a good choice of hot & cold food. We found the staff very friendly, helpful & obliging.

No lift in the main building & £10 parking charge per night for hotels secure car park although staff did advise of free parking on other side of road.

Lovely room and my Mum had an accessible room which was perfect for her. Very comfy and nicely furnished. Breakfast was very good, lovely buffet with hot options that were nice quality. Lovely old hotel / pub with character.

There was an annoying bleeping sound all night from the corridor, flat battery in an alarm or something..I reported it to a member of staff and they indicated that they'd known about it previously so am not sure why it hadn't been fixed the day before, it would have given me a chance to sleep properly... No teaspoons in room, just those wooden stick things which are annoying!

The hotel has lots of character, being an old coaching inn, and a nice garden area. The restaurant was very good for dinner - good quality dishes at reasonable prices. Overall good value for the area.

The breakfast was rather average. Also the rooms don't have air-conditioning and the window didn't open much, so would not be good in hot weather. It was very warm even in average summer weather They don't offer any alternative to the fairly thick duvet - we ended up removing the duvet cover and sleeping under that. There was a fault with the fire alarm in the middle of the night which hopefully was a one off

I was upgraded to a room with a bathtub, which I had asked for the day before but had been told it was not available - nice surprise. There was masses of boiling hot water. The room was large and clean. They stored our bikes under cover and securely as promised. There was a good selection of dishes in the restaurant and dinner was served quickly. Breakfast also good with plenty of choice. Poached eggs cooked to order. The staff both at reception and in the restaurant couldn't have been more helpful.

My room was on the main road and a bit noisy.

The staff were all friendly. Perfect location for visiting friends.. ripley is lovely. Lovely atmosphere in the hotel. The beds are comfy.

The hotel decorations is tired..I visited about a year ago and thought the same then.. our room carpet and carpets throughout the hotel are very old and tired..need replacing.. the paintwork in our room was in need of re doing...the bathroom sink was chipped..the silicone around the bathroom was poorly done so it all together looked tatty. Some outdoor seating was very tatty.

Location was very convenient and staff were very welcoming and friendly

On a 3 night stay we were not offered any service to our room (no bedding changed, no fresh towels) there were 2 of us staying in this room and we were only supplied with 1 hand and 1 bath towel, and there was only 1 bottle of water supplied, there were a few areas in this accommodation need a bit of attention in the cleaning area, one of the day's we stayed it rained heavy all day and there was no sheltered area if your a smoker, no extra toilet roll or sanitary products were offered during our 3 night stay

Stayed for one night to meet with friends. The room was comfortable and warm when we arrived - good sized shower cabinet in the bathroom and all was clean and tidy. Had dinner in the restaurant with our friends - the food was fresh and well cooked - everyone had something different and we sent back 5 clean plates! Breakfast was in a pleasant dining room. The cold table was fairly basic, but adequate, however the hot menu was good and obviously cooked to order.

Whilst the warmth of the room on our arrival was very acceptable, it did stay that way all night, so was a little too warm for sleeping - there may have been a thermostatic control, but was not prepared to get up in the middle of the night to search for it. The shower, though a good size, did leak on the floor, which made it very slippery. Coffee at breakfast, although served in a pot, was lukewarm, had to ask for a hotter refill.

Having to pay for the car park, we can't remember having to pay when we stayed in May 2023, this would make us think twice about staying again The dining area was not very clean, dirty chairs and floors, both needing a good clean, chairs needed crumbs brushing off The carpet in the main building up the stairs and on the landings were filthy, badly stained The chairs in the bedroom needed a good hoovering, dusty and dirty

The food and staff were all good. The beds and room very comfortable. It took us a while to find the second set of towels as one set was in the bathroom and one in the wardrobe. We also only had one bottle of water and one paper cup and no teaspoons. We were only staying one night so a bit late to rectify when we realised. Overall though a nice comfortable stay in a lovely old hotel in a good spot and we would stay again. However, I was very surprised that, as guests, we had to pay to stay in the hotels own car park.

I didn’t like having to pay to park in the hotel’s own car park attached to the hotel.
