The accessible room was excellent with plenty of support rails plus a chair. The roll-in/walk in shower was one of the few, that we have experienced, that was designed correctly so that the water flowed to the central grid and did not flood the adjoining room.(Tue!) All staff from cleaners, bar/lounge staff/ restaurant/ breakfast and reception/office staff were excellent. We are regular users at lunch times but needed somewhere to go for a week while work was done in the house. A good choice in a difficult week for us.

Perhaps the bathroom could have some titivating in the surrounds. A general maintenance job. Message for Booking.com - All the attractions listed were for nearby Chester in England. Wrexham is over the border in Wales, is now a city and has its own long history and 'wonders of wales' Check out the Pontcysllte Aqueduct near Llangollen... check out visitwrexham.com

The Ramada Plaza Wrexham was well located, sparklingly clean with good facilities. Definitely a notch above the Premier Inns, Travelodges and other rivals. The room was large, well designed and equipped with little extras like free bottles of water and a good amount of tea/coffee making facilities with biscuits. The staff, without exception were always available, helpful and professional.

Having stayed twice in 2 months, this time the room was again very clean and well designed and equipped - but just a bit tired with large carpet stain by the desk (ink?) and very chipped enamel on the bath. The restaurant and bar food menus were varied and imaginative, but the food a bit bland with tasteless meat and cold vegetables.

Greeted by smiling, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Everywhere was really clean. Peaceful throughout. Our twin room was more spacious than in the area. A good variety of drinks on the hospitality tray, including bottled water. Fabulous shower. (After fiddling with taps). Decent wardrobe space. Dined in the restaurant with our family of, 4 adults and 2 children. Professional staff, who didn't get flustered, even though there was a function to attend to.

Hospitality tray was in a dark recess, but soon moved it. Some instructions on how to set the shower would be helpful. The only sign, regarding the shower, was to ensure that the curtain was inside the bath. Even doing this, the water still got on the floor.

Stayed at Ramada on numerous occasions, always find staff polite and helpful, our room has always been very clean with adequate facilities, booking in and departure has always been a quick and easy process.

The morning of my departure, I went down for my breakfast at 07.25 waited to get breakfast as restaurant did not open until 07.30 . I was first to arrive for breakfast, was told to sit and given a menu, told I couldn’t get my own breakfast from the buffet as it was for a tour party ,???? One of the staff brought my breakfast, not acceptable! To be totally honest it really pissed me off , I needed to get away early, was first down for breakfast and ended up with 50+ people getting breakfast before, because I wasn’t part of some bloody tour party….. left very unhappy,,,,,

The staff was great especially during our check in and check out. The rooms where exceptional clean and very comfortable. There is a great parling area in front of the hotel.

I had a bad experience during the breakfast because there was a lack of supply of food when it finishes. I had to ask the staff to get the missing food. There was too lack of supply because there were moments were they told us that certain food like buns for example were finished from stock and they are waiting for the delivery to come.

We booked very last minute due to travelling to Ireland after a sudden death in the family. I mentioned this to the hotel staff and they were just amazing. They looked after us and ensured we were comfortable, as well as helping us to book a suitable room for the return journey. They went over and above on this occasion. Food was also very nice, especially the prawn starter! The exec room was a nice surprise for the return journey. Very roomy, air con great and nice treats left in the room.

The sofa bed in the room was uncomfortable but absolutely fine for a small child (it wasn't the hotel's fault I was made to sleep there with said child!).

Our home team was playing Wrexham FC, so we booked this hotel in Wrexham as it was close to the Stok stadium. The hotel is beautifully maintained, very comfortable, clean, and welcoming. It has a spa and pool facilities too. The restaurant is exceptionally good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. We would definitely recommend it.

Would have liked an early check-in time, 1.30pm, but the rooms were unavailable until 3pm

I have stayed on a number of occasions and have always been impressed. What did impress me this time were the two receptionist - when I arrived and when I left - high quality, friendly and very professional. I could not have asked for a more welcoming or well-wishing interaction. I also commend the food - one suggestion in box below. The rhubarb compote and panna-cotta was A* grade!

Not a complaint - just a suggestion: the duck plate (main course) was too busy with too many different and I'm not convinced complimentary tastes. The meet was cooked to perfection but the combination of cherry, and spring roll, and almonds / nuts just created a complex that slightly jarred on tastebuds.

Staff were helpful and pleasant. Check in was quick and easy. Room was bigger than expected. Little treats on arrival such as chocolate and juice as well as the expected tea/coffee was lovely. Bed was comfortable and temperature control was easy to use making sure it was a comfortable night sleep. Breakfast was a buffet style and plenty of choice plus you could ask staff for extras such as a poached egg. Free car parking on site.

Disappointed that I couldn’t get the spa bath to work. This was mentioned to the staff when we checked out and they were going to look into it. Fried eggs at finial breakfast were completely dried out and had obviously been under the heat lamps for a while. Other than that it was a lovely hotel to stay in.

Excellent customer service from staff. The room was comfortable and clean, with tea and coffee-making facilities, a bed, chair, desk and bathroom. The TV didn't work, and the Wi-Fi connection speed was slow. The buffet breakfast was good. The location was central to travel to City Centre and there were enough spaces for parking. Overall, I was satisfied

The TV didn't work, and the Wi-Fi connection speed was slow, so I decided to go to the bar downstairs to enjoy a pint and watch TV in the lounge area for a while.
