I like that it was near the Kirkland Clinic, clean room and the linens smelled clean and fresh. We like that the room had a setting area with a nice TV.

I did not like that we had to pay almost 30.00 for parking plus walk a ways to locate an empty parking space. The pillows are “horrible” which cause me to toss and turn tryin to roll the flat pillow to give the pillow a little depth. You should seriously consider a better selection of pillows. When we placed our heads and tried all four pillows our heads hit the sheets/mattress because they were all four exactly the same cheap and poor quality. The king mattress does not keep from transferring movement. The mattress could be updated to a much better mattress and a more comfortable mattress. I like the room with exception of the pillows and the mattress! Attention management: please go sleep on this mattress and with these pillows and your decision will be easy! Thank you Elaine

Property was in the perfect location. The staff; on both on the late night arrival, as well as the morning after, were most excellent. The guest rooms were clean and comfortable, we slept well (we are use to helicopter noise). The snack bar was pretty well stocked, and reasonably priced.

Parking is a bit of a pain, but it's downtown and convenient.

We needed a clean, comfortable, safe, close place to stay while my husband had heart surgery at UAB. You literally walked out of a door of the hospital & you were at hotel. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Room was very clean & comfortable. Highly recommend The Courtyard if you have someone in the hospital at UAB & need a great place to stay,

The rooms were very clean and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the lobby smelled like fresh magnolias. The bathroom was very clean as well and there is a laundry room on the 2nd floor next to the gym. It's very convenient if you have to be at the hospital for something early in the morning.

The atmosphere was so relaxing and inviting while the staff were amazing and accommodating

I didn’t like that we had to leave. Everybody was so friendly and felt like family to the point that my husband and I were a bit sad to go.

The staff was very courteous and helpful, above and beyond. I loved that it was so accessible to the hospital.

They room wasn't cleaned well before we arrived-sticky table, trash behind the bed, glasses did not appear to be clean.

The courteous and patient service of the front desk staff was the beginning of my pleasant stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. I will just this hotel for all of my stays. My daughter is a freshman at UAB in the fall so for the next four years I will be staying with you.

The Keurig did not look clean but I was able to get coffee from the Bistro.

Phaedra and Brittany were so great to us at the Bistro! We were treated so well overall by all of your staff.

A microwave in each room would be safer for customers.
