Wow!! Where do I start. The whole place was just awesome. I loved everything about this hotel. It was surrounded by all kinds of eateries so that was a number one! Also the rooms are so nice and clean. I had no complaints whatsoever. And the front desk was even better. Some really sweet people. We have to go back on next week, and we will be staying back here praying if something is available.

Well this wasn’t the properties fault lol it’s built on a HUGE HILL and when me and my husband went to walk to get some food and just to explore honey I was completely out of breath and tired. It was so hilly. I felt like I was exercising LITERALLY. But like I said that’s not the property fault that’s because BHAM is basically built on HILLS.

The hotel is very convenient to both UAB and St. Vincent’s hospitals. Despite being close to hospitals, it was quiet, rarely hearing ambulances and other traffic. Traffic in the area was light, making it easy to drive around. There is a restaurant across the street and other restaurants close by. The room was ideal for a prolonged stay, with a decently equipped kitchenette and plenty of room in the bedroom and living room for 2people. The hotel has a small market with a few frozen dinners, drinks and snacks. There is a Publix nearby. We had forgotten to turn on the ice maker, but there was an ice machine, so we had all we needed. There are also coin-operated washers and dryers for those who need them. The best thing about the hotel, however, is the staff. The young gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and patient. Even though I had forgotten my hearing aids and he had to repeat several things multiple times, he was unfailingly polite and patient, and he efficiently took care of a mistake I’d made on our booking. The lady who handles the breakfast went out of her way to find some yogurt for me and was quite helpful and very kind. The lady at the desk when we checked out was also very pleasant. Even the young man bringing up the laundry from the basement wished my husband, who’d just had surgery, a speedy recovery.

I had no complaints at all.

The person who checked me in was so rude and so quick to turn my blind mother and I away just because there card reader wasn't taking my card , I asked could I speak to a manager, she looked over my request, I was literally in tears into I asked do yall have another card reader I could probably try. She rolled her eyes and Proceed to the other card reader and surprise it works, her Customer service skills was poor, Problem solving skills are poor,and she definitely need more training after a long day of driving and get treated like that I was sick to my stomach.. Definitely one of My favorite places to stay when I visited Birmingham.. never again !!! My mother and I will stay at another hotel that offers great hospitality and good at resolving problems.

Earvin at the front desk was phenomenal...I've stayed at 4-5 star hotels all over and he is by far in my top 3 of concierges I've ever been associated with. Room was fantastic and pool was definitely relaxing

Nothing!! Other hotels need to follow the footprint of this place.. We only stayed overnight in route to Biloxi , but if we ever stay in Birmingham again you can rest assured it will be here ..

It was in a convenient location related to the purpose of our visit to the Birmingham area.

Parking. We had to pay an extra $25 and there were not enough spaces to accommodate the number of guests

Parking. We have to pay for parking each day and the parking was awful. There was not enough and people had to park in crazy made up spaces. Needs better parking for the customers

Property was clean and spacious

Expensive parking fee. You should not have to pay $23 a day to park at a hotel you’re already spending hundreds on staying at. They were also a cashless facility and we did not know that upon arrival

Great breakfast. KeKe was excellent at the front desk and helped me get a room early. She was friendly and accomdating.

Room 416 had the smell of smoke. Someone had smoked in the room before

Nice place to stay and close to everything. The bathroom was extremely nice!

I didn’t know there was a $100 amenities fee but I did get it back on my card when I left

My daughter and I had a great time. The breakfast was excellent, so was the staff. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved it. Thanks for everything! 😊
