Had pancakes and bacon. Got my own coffee from the table. Did not eat dinner at the hotel. Went to a local restaurant. The room had no written material. I had to figure out how to use the TV which was easy but never did figure out how to adjust the thermostat. Had to request a hair dryer and it was a new one. The room I was given was not the one booked but I was told that room was overbooked. This was the last room on my end of the floor. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I chose the hotel as it was next door to the Red Mountain Theater where I was attending a special function. I did not need the attractions as I live in Birmingham.

Keep a small pamphlet in the room with instructions on the use of the TV and AC. I miss the days when there was an abundance of helpful information in the rooms.

Amanda was absolutely AMAZING. I left my wallet at home and she sat aside to help me in every way possible in less than 10 minutes!!!! she was so sweet, professional, and considerate. Mr. Markese was such a GEM! He was such a gentleman in making sure me and my friend got to our room safely and ensured any concerns we had were resolved. These two truly made my stay the best I’ve had in bham in YEARS!

unfortunately our room looked unkept properly. our beds looked like someone recently slept in it. And the toilet was used and not flushed. the floor was not slept either

Very convenient to Red Mountain Theater where I was visiting, also to my gym and several great restaurants. Very clean and quiet, even being close to a hospital.

Price for rooms was high despite no free breakfast and having to pay for parking. Also-there are two hotel chains in one big building with the other half getting the free breakfast? That’s not a great practice.

I liked the location, cleanliness, and the soft pillows. Also, I liked that the check in girl was nice but failed to tell us time for breakfast and checkout time! Ya know the basics. I do like the check out time being 12:00 pm

The downside was the $15 per night for parking and not being able to find a parking spot. We had to move cones and luckily get a spot. If that didn’t happen we would’ve had to park elsewhere and risk tickets or towing. We live out of town so it could’ve been bad.

Good parking. Big bathroom. Overall neat and clean.

There was a liquor bottle behind the curtain that a 5 year old found. For me the beds were very hard causing pressure point issues. For the rest of the people with me the beds were great.

Nice looking hotel

Way too expensive, everything, including the food was costly, felt like “ Resort” pricing, there’s nothing about downtown Birmingham that feels like a Resort. And, paying to park certainly doesn’t feel like southern hospitality.

Facilities were very clean. Room was comfortable and spacious. Nice desk room for working or eating. Nice options in the pantry for snacks.

The pool was too small and was situated in a strange place too close to the street. The staff were not very friendly although one staff member did assist me with an early check in. When i arrived the other staff members were not as nice or attentive.

Heater did not work all that well in my room. Evening check in staff very friendly. Morning shift staff seemed pissed off!!!

definitely one of the nicest hotels i’ve ever stayed in, from the room layout to the bathroom(s). everything felt really clean.

the room i got when i got there wasn’t what the pictures on the app displayed for a king room. brought it up w the front desk to switch to a different room, which they did but were pretty rude about it from what i was getting. obviously i wasn’t trying to be a bother but i booked my room solely off what the pictures said i’d get. also my stay was about $100+ more than what the booking price was.
