Everything!it's a beautiful oasis. Cleanest place you could ever find. Newly refurbished and so bright and cheerful. Sani at the front desk is an angel but ALL the staff at the desk and otherwise are friendly and efficient. The breakfast is good. I stayed off and on for a couple of months a few weeks at a time. I was greeted warmly and treated like a VIP.. It's very pet friendly . It's quiet and the beds are so comfortable. I cannot praise it enough. If you have the misfortune to HAVE to be in Montgomery AL staying here will make up for it.

I cannot think of anything I didn't love.

The hotel was very clean, quiet and updated. The staff on check in and check out was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean including the bathroom. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, There was a fridge and microwave in the room that was great. They have free continental breakfast that includes a Keurig coffee espresso machine. We were only in Montgomery for one night to visit my daughter at ASU. If you are coming to visit ASU this hotel is about 13 mins from campus. This was our first time staying at Microtel Montgomery and i would definitely stay again.

I didnt like that there are no closets or drawers you can only hang things on these weird pegs on the wall by the TV I see a lot of hotels starting to do that and i really dislike the no drawers no closet no nothing for storage stuff. Also the shades in the room are very short so if you like to sleep in darkness like i do it wont happen once that sun comes up it wont be completely dark

I liked the idea that it was a family run and operated hotel. The employee I interacted with in the evening and the morning was the son of the owner and he had a masters degree in hotel management. The room was small, but had amenities that you would find in more expensive hotels like coffee, refrigerator. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast offered yogurt fruit, muffins, and waffles. It was more than sufficient.

I would have liked a shower cap. Hotel can be hard to find as the road from the main road looks like a lane. There is not much they could do unless they are allowed to put up a sign.

This is an outstanding place to stay - price is the best in the area, rooms are clean and pretty (love the blue/yellow motif), beds are comfy, parking is easy, off/on interstate is right there plus easy access to downtown. How nice to have a call to the room from the front desk to make sure everything in the room is ok. Sani (I think I've spelled that correctly) is the best yet at the front desk!

Breakfast could be improved. Coffee is good.

Sani and KK were exceptional hosts!! Helpful in every way, going above and beyond to make our stay and unexpected extra day very comfortable! The rooms were newly renovated, and housekeeping does a super job to keep the rooms sparkling clean!! Thank you!

The fitness room was under renovation and with long drives every day, we missed exercising! However, we did "laps" around the hotel which worked out just fine!

Well lit parking lot, awesome guy working the desk... nice clean comfortable room and bed. I had traveled down the road to buy my new Jeep truck and wasn't familiar with the area and was hoping for a safe place to stay... for me and my new ride. I felt really safe and comfortable!

Was a little high for a single person traveling through but was worth it to feel comfortable and safe.

Fridge was large for storing plates of food. Room was clean. Plenty of places to shop around as you drive toward Eastdale Mall area turning left onto the highway. Ice machine was available on my floor.

The elevator did not have adequate air flow. It was hot when we were inside it. Breakfast was nice. Wish they had a hot breakfast like cooked eggs and hash browns. Fitness room was under renovation. I will be excited to visit it once it is completed.

Love the newly renovated rooms. Everything looked clean. Beds were comfortable but needed longer or more pillows there were only 3 for 2 people.

Main entrance is still under construction. Breakfast was continental. Would have preferred the bagels and muffins pre packaged instead of out in the open.

not very much breakfast choices and I'm on a diabetic diet so I passed. Coffee was great!! Lobby needed to be finished refurbishing, room was excellent,.

So much noise from highway and other rude occupants. No respect for others staying at hotel, they were loud and slammed doors all hrs of night, not the staff's problem though, they did great.

Very clean and quiet, the staff were all friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable and the AC wasn’t too loud, overall very pleasant and enjoyable. There was also a little reading nook by the window which I thought was a cute touch.

The room didn’t have a refrigerator or a microwave, there was a microwave downstairs but it would’ve been nice to know ahead of time, especially for a long term stay. I used a small cooler and put a bag of ice in it every day to use as a sort of mini fridge. Small inconvenience but overall not awful.
