Location could not be better. Excellent - close to mountains for hiking, shopping nearby and a quick drive to Scottsdale for several dinners. The staff were incredibly nice and very friendly. Loved the breakfast set up, easy and casual... Outdoor seating area is great and pool... overall the property is great.

I think the pillows could use an upgrade and towels were scratchy.....but overall all not so bad that i would not stay here again. For the price - the value is great. Good business hotel as well.

The design of the hotel is very modern and bright. We really liked the great breakfast and the well equipped fitness center. Most of all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located next to a busy and noisy road, so I would recommend reserving a room on the side of the building that doesn't face the road.

For a Marriott it was nicely appointed. The bathroom was lovely the bedroom was very comfortable and well lite. There was a nice view of a pond (unexpected for Pheonix)!

My big complaint with Marriott facilities, even the higher end is why is never has enough coffee for two in a room. Only one coffee, one decaf and one tea.

Our favorite hotel in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area! We now know the GM, the manager, the special events coordinator, at least one bartender and two others on their fantastic staff. The personal service is unparalleled and I love sitting in the lounge area for dinner or just a drink. Breakfast is European style (buffet for many small items, then you order your entree).

Clean room and nice breakfast options. Golf putting practice mat in reception area and large games near pool were entertaining.

Noisy aircon in room, hallway smelt like parmesan cheese (musty), not enough towels or water in room for number of guests noted on booking

Modern, clean, minimalist design, nice lounge and bar area, great staff, great location, free parking, quite hotel but maybe it wasn’t a busy time period

Sliding door in bathroom didn’t work well, really noisy air conditioner

Both the hotel and the room were beautiful and modern. The bathroom, especially the shower, was really nice. Overall, the room was clean.

The floor in our room was a bit dirty, including the rug underneath the table. It definitely could have used a quick sweep or vacuum. Overall, though, the room was clean.

I loved the clean lines of the decor of the hotel and the rooms. It was bright and welcoming. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean. I enjoyed meeting the dogs each evening - being dog friendly is a plus!

There was some construction around the hotel, which could be distracting and a bit noisy, but I wasn’t really affected by it…not something the hotel had control over either. While it was a plus for me, some folks might not like that it’s a 15 to 20 minute drive downtown.

The location was great. The luxury vinyl floors instead of carpeting was great too. And the room size was great also.

We are confused about our final bill The price per day was different on certain days from others for the same room. The mattress was not great, needed replacing.

We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. We loved eating a snack outside by the fire, and we especially loved our server (Beck?). She was wonderful. We also loved that we could have our dog with us. Attaching a photo - do you recognize my husband????

Can't think of anything we didn't like.
