Decor was fun because it was unique. North facing orientation was ideal for Tempe in the summertime. Bed was comfortable, Room was mostly quite clean.
Bathroom sink drain was clogged and made using the sink gross. Housekeeping absolutely must be aware, cause how do you clean a sink that does not drain. The instant coffe was disgusting. You have a restaurant, we dispise single use plastic and disposables, althought you are doing a fair job on this, you can do better, provide room with 2 glass glasses and two ceramic coffee cups, It's not difficult. the hospitality industry is rated the absolute worst for not making progress on trash generation.

The Graduate Tempe was perfectly located in downtown Tempe. An easy walk to the university and to numerous restaurants and other fun locations. We went there for the location and our expectations were absolutely met; however, it was the design of the interior that ended up being my favorite part of the stay. The mid-century aesthetic was in full effect with many excellent pieces of furniture in the hallways and even in the rooms and numerous local paintings on the walls. The pool was quite nice too.

It is a friendly and creative hotel close to the Arizona State University and at less than 1 mile from Tempe downtown, but there is a free tramway taking you there in few minutes. It is expressely oriented towards inclusion and against any discrimination of races, countries and sexual orientations. It has in the common lot fine decorations, interesting books and a fantastic swimming pool. The rooms are well equipped and artistically arranged.

This was our first time staying at the Graduate Hotel in Tempe, AZ. Check in was very smooth and the room was cozy. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit on the pricey side, but we thought it was worth it due to location, cleanliness, and wonderful staff. We had a small balcony to enjoy. The hotel is right next to a super cute neighborhood, and we were able to take our dogs for a nice walk through the neighborhood. It was wonderful to be able to take our dogs with us on our trip, and parking was plentiful. There is an extra charge ($12 per day) for the on-site parking, but it is worth it as there is limited parking around the area due to the university. Mill Avenue, the downtown college district, is super close and there are multiple public transit options (some are free) to reach that area for shopping, restaurants, breweries, etc. We definitely recommend staying here if you plan to visit Tempe. Thank you to the staff at the Graduate. We hope to visit you again soon!
The view from the balcony was into someone's backyard, so that was a little awkward, but otherwise we loved everything about the hotel, it's location, staff and ease of access.

Perfect location...not too far from bars and restaurants, but not too close to the busy bar and restaurant scene. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and so was the outside of the hotel.
I donr agree with having to pay for parking.

The size of the room was excellent, the beds super comfy, the view from the balcony was nice.
The fitness room is tiny, the lobby not very welcoming, staff not overly friendly. The girl on reception was supposed to book us for the airport shuttle but when we went to leave we were told that the driver had left and they didn't know why she had booked us at 4.30pm if the driver leaves at 4pm.

Convenient downtown Tempe location.
Noisy street noise. Lots of loud, revved up car noise, rail traffic into evening. Bed was hard for my body and pillows were not the softest. Hot tub had so many chemicals there was 6 inches of foam when jets turned on, made my eyes red.

The young lady that checked me in was excellent. I had to find someone to check me out after standing at the front desk for over 10 minutes along with another customer
The bed was a little hard, but cant make everyone happy. The elevators were slow

The Graduate in Tempe was absolutely excellent! We wanted to stay close to ASU campus and it is practically on campus with beautiful views of Gammage auditorium. It is also located on the new tram line and has a tram pass by approximately every 15 mins which brings you to downtown Tempe (and the tram is free to use). My children enjoyed the pool and the comfortable beds. Our room face ASU and we had a lovely view. The front desk staff could not have been nicer - they helped us out with the shuttle bus and answered our many questions!
The man that drove the shuttle bus was not particularly nice. He complained the entire time about giving us a lift and we had to listen to his political opinions about US politics (which we didn't appreciate) and European politics (about which he was factually incorrect, and we are Europeans so we should know!). I also heard him complaining to another family that he didn't usually take that many people in his shuttle (they were two adult and their 3 children) .... surely, this is his job?!
