Everything! The pool was really quiet on weekday afternoons and we loved the cabañas for shade. The courtyard; breakfast on the terrace, the view from our room on the fourth floor, the couches to sit and relax by the fountain. The staff was so friendly. We bumped into house keeping when we were returning to our room and she was so wonderful and had the biggest smile. The shuttle drivers, valet and front desk staff were all really friendly and made our arrival and departure so easy (with an early check in). The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the water pressure in the shower perfect. The location was phenomenal, within walking distance of restaurants, the light rail and Tempe Beach Park. It was like an oasis right in the middle of town. Will stay there again for sure!

The staff was out of this world helpful--just way over and above--Summer let us check in early, when we were tired from a long day's journey. Jasmine helped me when I could not make the boarding pass kiosk work. Alana was helpful in explaining amenities, etc. Orlando was wonderful on the airport shuttle. I wish I could have gotten the names of the restaurant staff who gave us cutlery for our takeout meal. The grounds are lovely, room clean--everything was perfect.

There was nothing to dislike. No improvement necessary. I will come back.

We stayed at this hotel for ASU move in day. The staff we super friendly and they understood the various needs that come up for families who are coordinating a student's move-in into the dorms. The free valet parking was great and the facilities were well maintained. Our room was very comfortable. They offer a lovely breakfast buffet on site and needless to say, the centrality of the hotel's location makes ideal for those visiting ASU. We would certainly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and have no complaints about the service or facilities.

The room itself was amazing and the hotel itself was great lots of things to do and close to so many things.

Our room had a tree outside and EVERY SINGLE morning from 4am - 8amish that tree would fill up with birds and they would squak and fight with each other until 8 am waking us up every single morning and there is literally nothing you can do to make them stop it was horrible to hear

Great location! The pool and hot tubs were very nice! Room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had was great—those are the most important things for me!

Not the best lighting, and no good outlet for clothes iron. But those are pretty minor, so I’d definitely stay again. Oh, free valet parking was nice but there’s not much self parking if you don’t want to pay a tip.

We did the breakfast buffet and it was great, selection was diverse and good service. Within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants on Mill Avenue and the ASU campus. Beautiful grounds on an older property that takes you back to old Hollywood, this is just a great place to stay.

They could have provided free drinks I guess. : )

Beautiful location and pool. This is our 4th time staying here.

For the cost per night, it is very disappointing that you do not offer complementary water. The water in the room is free to "members" which I am. However for those who are not, you're charging $5 per bottle of water. So $10 for two bottles of water. Those same waters are 2 for $3 at the Safeway. It's kind of shameful how you nickel and dime people who are paying a fortune to stay there.

I had a great room. Clean and comfortable. Staff was above and beyond from checking in and out to additional requests. All handled quick and efficiently. Room service and the restaurant were excellent. Comparing this experience from my last few hotel visits, this was by far best

Location is excellent Clean.. the resort is older, historic, but it was clean Staff were friendly and helpful-greeted you and assisted if needed Pool was in a good location and sights and sunset were cool Sun Devil Mountain is next door for climbing

Not much… was great for what we needed.

PERFECT location to ASU Football Stadium and right on Campus. Mill St. was right at the corner ( 500 ft?) with a Starbucks and many fantastic bars and restaurants. Culinary Dropout Restaurant is fantastic and Rustlers Roost is 15 minutes. Go at night for the view. Phoenix Zoo is 5 Miles away and Sky Harbor Airport 5 Miles. loved the Pool with Cabanas and a Bar. 101 and 202 access right up the street. Easy in Easy Off. Sedona is a must and Jerome with the Grand Haunted Hotel. 2 hrs but would not suggest going North on a weekend due to traffic so plan accordingly. We planned well and avoided it and arrived in 2 hrs. Make sure you gas up before the journey. Will definitely stay at Tempe Mission Palms next time we visit. Free Parking too.
