I liked the treatment of the office staff member Lynn. She is such a kind lady and very respectful. She has never mistreated me ever or looked down on me. The rooms where very clean and we stayed a couple of days, the maid came by to see if we needed anything. I was grateful for that. All in all the two people I interacted with (the maid and Lynn the office worker) were kind. But can't say that about others.

What I didn't like was the night we checked in we had other staff members starring at us while we took our belongings into our rooms. It was so uncomfortable and they just stood there looking. Yes we are natives and my sons are tall, maybe looking at them on the outside frighten them but I did not like the feeling. Hope that doesn't happen again because I am planning to stay there again in 2 weeks.

The location

I didn’t like that the staff was being very difficult. They wouldn’t allow me to check in because I took an Uber and my luggage and friends were still inside and she had everybody get down the car to leave or I had to pay a parking fee for my Uber, I had never been asked of this so then we had to carry all of our luggage by hand to our room that was far away when we could have had our Uber drive it to us

The furnishings, bed and bathroom were all very comfortable and worked well. It was also fairly attractive, especially for a budget accommodation. I was initially skeptical about a Motel 6 in the middle of such a posh area of town, but it mostly fit.

I REALLY wish the room had had a fridge. Just about every budget room I've stayed in recently has had them and so I was surprised that there wasn't one. I only realized that there wasn't a fridge after I got back from walking a fair distance to get some beer. It's a pain to keep beers cold in the sink.

The location is great for being next to the square but there was a few homeless and activity at night staying literally 100ft from my room in the bushes. However they didn't bother me and everything is within reach 5 min drive or 30-40 min walk. Staff was very friendly and accommodating!

I loved how close it was to downtown Scottsdale and that it had a microwave/mini fridge as well as a little table area to do work from or eat at. The bed was comfortable to sleep in.

I didn’t like that I was in a non-smoking room that smelled like cigarettes I didn’t like that there were gnats around the bathroom sink area I didn’t like that it didn’t feel super safe (multiple times I heard people arguing outside my room) I didn’t like how there wasn’t a secondary curtain. I didn’t feel comfortable opening my curtains during the day because people would be able to see if I did. It would have been nice for there to be a secondary sheer curtain that allowed for privacy but let in some light because the lighting inside was pretty drab and I’m a big fan of natural light.

Loved the room itself with the lil booth, modern look, fridge, and microwave. Room was clean. Quiet. Great value and location. Props to the woman checking guests in while having to deal with a drunk patron who locked himself out and kept interrupting and cutting the whole line of customers waiting to check in.

Line to check in took a good 15-20 min to check in. Some other guests could benefit from having some awareness and consideration to other guests when talking outside of other rooms.

The way the front desk lady acted like I was a homeless vagrant when I told her my girlfriend was checking in at 11pm after work she acted like we would be fighting we have never had a fight in the 8 years we have been together that lady made my stay not what I paid for

Peace and quiet 🫡🫡🫡 room is comfy i work two jobs it’s hard to find a place right now so when I get payed this is my go to Motel….. Me and my family got evicted out of our home they stay and another motel while I’m sleeping sometimes in my car well not even my car it’s a rental due to someone ran into the back of my car when it was parked on Memorial Day weekend I woke up to find that out anywho this motel it’s convenient the front desk clerks are all amazing greet you with all smiles

Dogs stay for free. This M6 charges a $10 parking fee. No breakfast but they do have coffee. It is right next to Fashion Square Mall in Scottsdale. There is a pool and dog water area with poopie bags provided. It's quiet and clean. Hot water, nice deep bathtubs! The check in lady was spectacular!!! Great personality and super friendly!

Rooms are due for a renovation. I’m sure it’s a ROI dilemma so I get it. But I would even pay a bit more for a little newer room on the inside.
