The space in the room was perfect for my family of 6. We have four teenagers ages 17, 17, 16, 13 and we were all able to sit in the various seating around the room and be comfortable. The beds were amazing, the cleanliness exceeded my expectations and overall, an amazing place to stay. Before we all left we were thinking of more trips to take so we can stay there. We will definitely be back!

Nothing. Everything was amazing! Clean, spacious, comfortable, quite, beautiful landscape and pool era. Very impressed and for the amount we paid was way worth it!

The location, the staff, and the pet friendly policies are the primary reasons for giving this hotel a high rating. The staff seem like old friends. My dogs couldn't walk far because of Scottsdale heat, but during our mornings out, but we saw quail, rabbits, chipmunks, and a coyote. There's a nice nature trail between the Mayo and the hotel (but there is a rattlesnake warning). While there's a lot of quiet space around the hotel, great restaurants and shopping are a couple of miles away. The Mayo, which is a few hundred yards away, has a good cafeteria. The hotel has a restaurant (elevated snack bar/Starbucks) with limited hours), which is good when you're too tired to drive a couple of miles for great restaurants.

A few things were in need of repair--the snack bar's freezer and a lock to an outside door. The restaurant hours and food selections are extremely limited.

We missed the timing for breakfast. It ends at 9! You have to pay for everything as meals are not included in the price. I liked that there was no waste of time and materials as housekeeping was only every 3 days. They were happy to bring you anything you needed though.

I thought paying for outdoor parking for a motel was absurd. Granted it was only $7 a day...but really? Very limited menu so if you cannot eat most grains or tomatoes your choice was limited. I expected more choices for a hotel that is on Mayo Clinic campus.

This hotel is nicer than a typical midrange chain hotel. It's very clean and the staff is very accommodating. I had am appointment at the Mayo Clinic which is next door so the location was great. There are many restaurants and shopping nearby. The room had a sliding door onto a little balcony which a nice view.

The bedding! The comforter on the bed is extremely thin. The pillows were huge shams which were much too high and firm to sleep comfortably on.

Quiet and felt very safe. Nice pool area. Super-friendly staff.

Was told the room had a patio upon check-in but it turned out to be a sliding door leading out to a graveled area without any furniture. Appreciate the use of large refillable bottles for shampoo, etc. instead of the throw-aways. However the top where you push the dispensers to get the product out did not look very clean (I realize this is hard to clean but it is a downside)

It is extremely convenient to appointments at Mayo clinic Scottsdale campus

Staff booked our room for their next guest right at our check out time. This made the schedule run tight for us. My appointment ran a little late at Mayo and staff were pressing us to check out. I arrived back at room and my family was packing and told they could wait for me in the hallway. This is uncommon as standard check in time is 4 pm which is 4.5 hours after we were able to get out of the room. Could have been handled a little better.

I liked that the hotel was located only a few blocks from the Mayo Clinic. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable. I'll definitely be staying here again, especially since I'll be visiting the Mayo Clinic every 6 months.

Very comfortable beds and pillows. In room coffee was good. Very nice remodel since we last stayed here.

No free breakfast and menu for the little cafe was very limited for vegetarians. Coffee at the cafe was pricy! A/C was cold but when I turned it down a degree it blew very hot air when the compressor was not on.

Nice room, quiet. Great location if you need to go to Mayo on Shea. In the same lot basically. It's even very convenient if you need to go to Mayo Hospital on Mayo Drive. Only 25 minutes away.

When you stay here plan to walk a lot. Parking and entrance doors could be a long way from your room. They are not serving breakfast. You can't pay to get breakfast.Night staff didn't know if they serve breakfast. They have a major safety Hazzard, all the plugs located in the lamps are in very poor condition. Very loose fit for your electrical cord and that's a major fire Hazzard. Blackout curtain has a bunch of holes in it so if your room is facing the east at sunrise you have your own star display. TV is too small and too low to view while either laying on the far side of the bed or sitting on the couch For any extended stay you're better off bringing an ice chest. Refrigerator is very very small.

Close to clinic with shuttle available.

Hot water came out from usual cold water position, should have left notification in bathroom about this issue. You could not keep the bathroom door open and it was very heavy. The microwave was located inside the lower cabinet instead of on top making it hard to use without bending over.
