Liked: Overall location and view of the landscape from the room, breakfast area, and pool area. Breakfast and outdoor area to sit for breakfast. Food at breakfast, which was of a good quality and variety. Pool area, which was amazing, with lounge chairs and plenty of space to soak in the sun. Balcony in room, which was a nice place to sit in the morning to wake up and enjoy the sunshine. Helpful and friendly staff at front desk, breakfast area, and housekeeping.

Didn't like: The room felt a little small (we had two queen beds for the 4 of us). The bathroom needed attention with a toilet needing replacement, a sink needing repair, and a towel rack needing repair.

I was disappointed to be honest. There was hardly any eggs left only a spoon and a half which I shared with my granddaughter and even the oatmeal had 2 spoons left which and I gave my husband and never got refilled.

I didnt like that because breakfast was gonna be over in an hour there wasnt enough or you were completely out of it! I been coming here for years and this is the first time this has happened! I always look forward to my breakfast at La Posada and this time I was VERY DISAPPOINTED.My husband kept telling the staff there wasnt any eggs, oatmeal and coffee. He spent more time letting staff know what they were out of so we could have breakfast then sitting down and relaxing! I was already frustrated I gave up waiting!

We stayed a week so the breakfasts got old after a few days. The coffee was really good.

Terrible, terrible pillows! The room could use a refresh that included more electrical outlets. I put a 1/2 pint of ice cream in the freezer, but it started to melt. So we asked the front desk if we could put it in their freezer. They put our Room# on it. When I went to get it the next night, someone had taken it! Who would do that? My trust level fell.

Really nice grounds, open and lush. Made us feel we were at aresort. The rooms are really clean. The beds were really comfortable. The breakfast buffet was really good, hot eggs and sausages.

The gentleman who checked us in at 4:0p.m.. was extremely rude. He gave us pause about staying. He wouldn't let us look at the room upon arrival and was condescending when we asked questions. Not a good choice for the first face of the hotel. The bathroom was really small with no bathtub, only a stall shower. There was nowhere to lay out toiletries well.

The front desk staff & restaurant staff were the friendliest of people. The heated pool & spa were working & in great condition. The breakfast included gave so many great options and tasted excellent. The free water bottles were a wonderful surprise. The location (right next to the Pima Wash), was beautiful and made for awesome bird watching plus you can hear coyote calls through the night which was exciting.

The air conditioner in our room was not working even after maintenance came to fix it which, made for uncomfortable temperatures especially at night. The tile floors in our room were so dirty that you couldn’t walk barefoot across the room without getting black feet.

Breakfast was reasonable - average hotel buffet. Short staffed in the restaurant in the evening. Older facility but in good condition. Nice gounds with nice view.

Without regular housekeeping it would be nice to leave a spare roll of TP in the room. The battery in the door lock died just before we were to leave delaying departure. Staff was efficient and did their best to get it opened. Maybe they need a way to assess battery life before it dies?

Pool was excellent . Breakfast was ok . would like to see bacon and link sausage as a option as well as more pastry offerings. Restaurant was a real find the staff as well as the chef were very accommodating.

Also the need for more water pressure in a handicap shower is really essential as when sitting down on the bench you barley get a steady stream of water. I recommend removing the water restrictors for the shower heads to allow more water to pass through the head for handicap showers. I have done this in my own personal shower at home and it works great.

The hotel was cute and a great location just outside the downtown with great views. The salt water pool and hot tub were great and the staff was very friendly. We had a little appetizer at the Gringo restaurant one night and it was nice to have a free drink. We ordered two more they were so good! make sure to order the Prickly Pear margarita! The bar tender was cool and nice to chat with. The rooms could use a little upgrade but that didn’t matter really. Cozy beds and the gardens were nice. We had a balcony room with a nice view.

The highway was a little loud but was quiet at night for sleeping. It was approximately 15 minutes from downtown but we were still close to some restaurants off the highway.

The room was well appointed--clean and interesting. The silver headboards were a lovely thematic touch. We thought the lawn area was well kept and welcoming. Staff was kind and helpful. The building itself felt old Tucson. We had a lovely breakfast out on the restaurant balcony--gentle breezes and pleasant view.

A couple more coffee cups could have been in the room. I was concerned to see some metal damage in one of the stairs leading to the office. At some point treads could be replaced for safety.

What really made our trip wonderful was the helpfulness of the staff and their welcoming attitude. We were greeted every morning and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests. I want to specifically give my kudos to Manager Josh and Hesa who were particularly sweet and helpful. Nice pool setting.

A little more variety in the breakfast menu. Unfortunately, there was roadwork being constructed at night which detracted from our rest. However, it was only one night. A desk clerk even offered to change our room , which we chose not to do.
