staff and room

We arrived late and after checking in we were told to go out and find our room. It was dark We got horribly lost and almost fell because it was so dark and paths were hard to see. We almost fell in pool. We are seniors. We had said ahead of time we were a late arrival. We should have been told to wait till someone could come with a vehicle to ride us to our room or walk us.

It was the best experience ever! We were there for a conference, and we were never disappointed. The hotel is standalone with many stores along the road, but not close enough to be noisy. That's the hotel's charm; it is calm and has a retreat style. The rooms are spread out like estates, all within walking distance of the reception. And there are staff offering short drives on open shuttles. There are many swimming pools here and there and a very nice gym that I used for nearly 85 per cent of my stay. Many people will say the same: It is a must to visit and stay here. I think it is suitable for writers or anyone wanting a quiet place to work. I highly recommend it and will be back soon.

Having a spa and restaurant.

Dogs in eating areas; one was actually sitting in a chair licking the table. Servers were petting them and we were wondering if they would wash their hands before serving our food. Pets off leash on trails.

This is an exceptionally beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony looking out over breathtaking desert sunsets. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful in every imaginable way, from correcting a small problem with our booking to recommending must-visit dining spots. The staff really went above and beyond, especially a young woman named Yanna who was happy to recommend hikes and restaurants, and was a lovely person to interact with. The location made it easy to reach local hiking spots such as Pima Canyon, but also was fairly easy to reach Saguaro National Park. It's also only ~20 mins from downtown dining and 40 mins from the airport. We did not want to leave and were already discussing our return on the flight home.

I cannot think of anything that could have been better other than our decision to not stay longer.

The grounds were beautiful. The space of the room was great, really enjoyed having the sitting area for 3+ people & the balcony. The bathroom also very spacious & great shower!! The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever slept on! We arrived after dark and it is a huge property... the nicest gentleman who worked there offered to guide us to our room and helped with luggage. Good thing because the reception had written the wrong room number on our key. I felt like this resort was a good value for the area. Lots of good restaurants in the area & some shopping. Did not get to enjoy the resort amenities like pool or tennis courts.

Check in reception could have done a better job informing me on the resort layout, amenities, food options, etc. He did not give me any info.

From the time we walked into the lobby, the staff was excellent, attentive, greeted us, very kind and accommodating, and went up and beyond! The room was perfect! So comfortable and very nice. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and the food was excellent! Our food server was friendly, and so helpful! The grounds and location were ideal! This was our first time staying here and we were really impressed.... we will be back again, it is certain!!!

There is absolutely nothing that we didn't like! This hotel and the staff were excellent!

location and ambiance is excellent. fitness and hot tub, bar and convenience of all day dining is good. changing mgmt is apparent.

needed to request a location change, due to some screaming toddlers 1am-4am - teething or bad dreams and ill equipped single parent, in the room next door. Was accommodated and all was well for the next 7 nts of my stay. also, lamps in the rooms and the coffee makers often do not work and that is frustrating bc I come often and it has happened more than 2x. Finally, having coffee in cambro style self serve option would serve more people faster and be preferred for quick exit mornings. please consider upgrading gym w a Peloton or 2! I stay there for all of these reasons and use the gym to destress. They are $900 refurbished!

Room was spacious, Andrea at the front desk was fantastic and very helpful! We told her about a bulb in our room that was out and wine glasses on the rocks in front of our room and they were immediately addressed. The food, lattes, and food support employees were outstanding! We loved our stay and would stay again. Everything was so lovely and the premises were clean and cared for. Personnel are the best! It smells nice when you enter the lobby.

would have been nice if the gift shop was open

It was BEAUTIFUL! Quite a large property, three pools, two hot tubs, lovely grounds. Room was huge and well appointed. A very relaxing and refreshing place to stay.

My bed was ready for a new mattress. It was quite soft and kept rolling me to the middle of the bed. I prefer a firmer mattress, someone else may love the softness.

Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The grounds are well maintained with many types of indigenous cacti. I enjoyed the fitness center with most of the necessary weight training equipment, men’s and women’s large locker room. The property has a lap pool and 3 common Jacuzzi pools as well as recreational swimming pools near the rooms. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. A great value. I will return.

A little difficult to find your way around when checking in, but was not a problem after the first day.
