I have stayed at this hotel about ten times over the past four years while my son was UA. The first time I stayed there it was because I couldn't find a room in one of the more expensive hotels on a parents weekend. I was skeptical but it was clean, comfortable, the breakfast was good and the staff treated me well. Although a bit far from campus, it became my go to hotel. My son has graduated now, but if I am ever in Tucson again, I will reserve at this hotel.

Kind of a long drive to campus.

We asked for a late check out (we travel to tucson just for cycling purposes, on sundays we ride up to mt lemmon, so we know we´ll be back at the hotel approx 11am, which is checkout time, so we normaly need 1 hour to get our stuff and shower), most of the time there is a rude lady (staff) who keeps on knocking and saying she is not informed of any late check out, telling us they will charge another night, etc. Everything except that is GREAT!

The staff, the nice room, beds were great. The breakfast lady was very nice. The breakfast area was very nice, the front lobby was very pretty, and it is so close to St. Joseph Hospital, where I was getting sessions and my husband was in with a deflated lung.

Not a wide spread of food, the sausage was warm but soggy, very hard to find a table around 8 a.m. I'm just saying, maybe sausage gravy and biscuits, switch up the menu, and have bacon every other day. I only have two more issues, it was my tub. It had mold in the corners and 1 of the corners had a dead mosquito in it. So, it had not been cleaned for a while since it was very cold when I was there, one last thing, there is hardly any room to take your Dog to go 1 or 2 in.

When I needed assistance to use the printer I was helped and was given instructions to get what I needed, I stayed in a handicap room and needed a seat for the shower and got it right away, excellent service

Unfortunately for me during my stay and because of the lack of safety box in the room when the people from cleaning enter the room and made the service when thru my stuff and I found out later that I had missing some gifts of jewelry not of gold but sure expensive one from a brand name very disappointed about this

The towels were LARGE, not the puny ones a lot of places give you, and they were really really soft. Same thing with the sheets. I had just had surgery, and this was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in ~ wonderful pillowtop mattress! It was a real joy, after the day I'd had in the hospital!

The coffee machine had no instructions, and instead of the pull-out basket, there was this flimsy plastic thing in a sealed plastic bag. At first I had no idea what it was. Once I figured that out, it really didn't fit into the slot very well, and I'm pretty mechanically minded. But I REALLY wanted that first cup of coffee, so I persevered. Worth it, yeah, but geez, guys, at least leave instructions!!!

Location is perfect for all the reasons im come to Tucson . Prices are great rooms are always clean. Yes it is an old hotel but in the 10 years I've been staying there they do try their best to keep up with the age of it. Never seen a bed bug 1000 points for that since I'm extremely allergic .Never meant a staff member i didn't like . Even the new girl that had just started she was so amazing. This has always been my go to hotel close to my family And close to the college while my son was there. Graduation was last weekend first time I got my husband to a big city. He loved the hotel so much we both didn't want to leave . Thank you to the front desk girls and house keeping we appreciate you so much

Clean. Easy check in. Good location.

The shower should have a safety bar installed since I was always worried about potentially slipping and falling in the shower. I would have felt much safer if there was a safety bar to hold onto when I was moving in the shower.

Asked for a handicap room & I got one. Staff was friendly & very helpful. Room & especially the bathroom was very clean. Continental breakfast was well stocked, the lady how was in charge keep cleaning & restocking items.

Shower head needs to be replaced! Stream wasn't well directed. Suggest changing it to handheld, so you can rinse off better. I reported a leak around the base of the toilet, twice (different days -> Fri. & Sat.). Thought it was fixed on Fri., but the leak reappeared on Sat. morning & they fixed it, again.

Stay 3 nights and had to go to front desk 3 different times on different days to have room key Re-keyed because they wouldn't open the door. Very frustrating since we were 3 elderly ladies, one with a cane.

We've stayed multiple times and this is the first time we felt a little uncomfortable. There was a couple on the bottom floor smoking weed. We have 2 kids with us and it stunk but after the long drive we're just tired. Other than that we LOVE our visit.
