The unique design, the history in and around the motel. The stay here was very interesting and the staff was more than accommodating.

To be very honest the only drawback of my time here was the fact that in our room had adequate space in the washroom but the room was a touch restricted due to the oversized dressers, and king size bed. The desk was a little deep on the top but could work if the dresser space was reduced. As this location is in the process of change and upgrading it was not really that bad. The total experience here was extremely impressive due to the rich history. The property is very well cared for and maintained.

The woman who "mans" the check-in desk is very helpful. She got us the room that was best for our needs. It's also great that the breakfast, which was made in the kitchen for your choice, was included with the room. It's the best vintage type hotel we've ever stayed in.

The main problem was the AC, which was the wall type. It was quite hot outdoors, and the AC was set on 72 - which was fine. But it cycled off for about 30 seconds to a minute, then back on again. About every 15 minutes it would do that, so it was a sleep disturbing type of situation, because it was quite noisy cycling back on. Also for some reason the water in the sink was very good for getting hot. But the shower water was nearly lukewarm. Don't know why that is.

Easy to find, close to exit 172. Room had everything we needed including 2 luggage racks, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, desk, adequate lighting, extra pillows, closet with sufficient number of hangers, chair & ottoman. Fabulous sit-down breakfast with 3 options: eggs, pancakes or cereal/oatmeal.

Noisy road and inadequate insulation to buffer road noises and voices of other guests. We also could hear our neighbours tv all night long. Smokers lingering outside made sitting outside our room a no-go. Several buildings on both sides of the street, so your room could be by one of the two pools or a half block away from the restaurant or small fitness room (not well-appointed). Room was a little tired - could use painting and some new doors to start with (none of them would close especially well and the room entrance door wouldn’t close without a very firm pull or push which rattled the glass in the exterior light.

It was New Year's Eve, and the staff person checking us in gave us the option of a larger room (closer to the office) or a smaller room closer to the restaurant. She added that the larger room might be more noisy with New Year's Eve celebrations. We appreciated that additional information and gratefully opted for the smaller room. The breakfast that was included was excellent and was served to us (not just a serve-yourself breakfast); that was wonderful!

The water in the shower was a bit forceful. The shower curtain, although inside the tub, didn't keep water off the floor, so care needed to be taken to avoid slipping. Nothing major.

It has a very retro feel, as in "old" but very well maintained and updated without ruining the vibe. Our room was amazingly nice and not what I expected at all. There was a regular hotel type room, plus a bedroom with a smaller (double) bed and built-in counter/dresser with a separate entrance to the bathroom. The bathroom had its own sink, but the walk in closet on the way into the bathroom also had another sink. There was abundant storage, drawers, hangars. The bedding and bed were comfortable and quality. Everything was very tastefully, immaculately cared for and maintained. Free breakfast was very good as well.

The pool area need a little help. The deck is peeling very badly and the decor and furniture around it is faded, worn and not bright and clean looking. The pool itself was beautiful with pretty blue tiles and sparkling water that was the perfect temperature (heated). I would like the washer and dryers to be set up to use credit/debit cards so we don't have to use quarters. It is a minor detail, but it would be nice if the refrigerator had a small freezer portion.

super helpful staff! this was our second stay. we like the old style motels way better than large chains where your parking your car far way from your room and have to walk down a hallway etc..

our first room wasn't great, but the receptionist was fantastic and without hesitation switched us to a far better room.

LOVED this historic Motor Inn. It's wonderful to see such care taken in renovating/maintaining these historic properties. Good for Wyndham!! (I'm now more likely to book with Wyndham given their willingness to invest in these classic, historic properties). The front desk receptionist (Nancy) was delightful--friendly, thorough, and helpful with recommendations for restaurants, etc. She took the time to understand my needs and preferences with respect to a room and the room was very comfortable. Great breakfast at the adjacent restaurant; again, the service was outstanding--surprisingly so, perhaps, given I had breakfast at 6:45 am!

The Inn is located on a busy street (4th street). Fortunately, the traffic and 'drag racing' calmed down in the evening:) Otherwise, I loved this place and would definitely stay here again when driving through (or visiting) Yuma. It's a treasure and was a good value.

Above all, I truly satisfied with the price they offered. Room is so clean and comfortable, easy to park, safe area. Their location is also close to the downtown area. yet, I didn't take the breakfast, they offered the breakfast within the reasonable price.

Nothing special. They don't offer high-quality soaps or shampoos. However, considering the price, it's understandable. (It would be nice if the shampoo and conditioner were separate.)

The room was spacious and comfortable with a separate dressing room area. It even had a full kitchen in its own separate room with a stove and full sized refrigerator. We enjoyed the fitness center. Too cold in winter to use the pool. The full cooked breakfast at the restaurant next door was delicious and it was included! Enjoyed the old photos and decor on the walls.

It was old, but I guess that's the charm of the place. Lots of Yuma history there. (It's not a chain motel.)

THE breakfast was good and the room was a nice size. They had a power chair that made it comfortable. They also had a hair dryer that made my wife happy. Overall, it was good.

With regard to breakfast, the way the made the toast at the end of the week seemed rancid. Perhaps the grill was not cleaned each day. When the beginning of the new week came, it was much better. Also, the noise was quite disturbing from the cars going by. Many young “hot rod” reaving up their engines, then there was the garbage truck that loaded the bit around 5:00 am. That was not fault of the owner, just an observation.
