fantastic location right opposite the beach, we even had a a sea view through the building opposite. great concept where there was a cupboard for fresh towels, toilet rolls coffee etc for when you needed more as there is no maid service (unless you pay $40) but it wasn’t needed plus there was a little hoover at reception for any mess you may make in your room there’s was a great breakfast/brunch practically next door which we went to each day. I would recommend a room with balcony for fresh air. the Roku tv was great as you could log in to your own prime, Netflix etc

the bathroom needed some attention to the shower fitting as the handle was loose

Spacious modern room with fridge and kettle and Keurig. Pool. Noise from PCH not a problem. Lovely Italian restaurant next door.

No microwave in the room, but one available in the common lounge. Men digging up the PCH at 0230. Difficult to cross PCH.

Our 2 stay in this hotel. Hotel is very nice, clean, staff is very good, free parking in the location, close to the beach, a lot of restaurant close by 1 minute ! ( Italian restaurant, restaurant for breakfast, evening, diner ) I very recommend this place! Wonderful! 5 star! Thank you ! Also the prices if very reasonable and affordable for family and couple !

great location, clean and modern.

the walls are a little thin so the noisy neighbors where a little disruptive, but all In all still a great hotel.

friendly staff, clean and good size rooms and bathrooms. has lounge, storage area, great location.

front desk has no phone, no way to call them directly, only to call center. they almost make you download their app where you have to register, create account, give all your info, credit card info, upload your id for verification.. unacceptable for me. also there is no microwave in the room, but there are couple in the lounge area.

Johnny was so nice and made sure our 2 night stay was a comfortable and relaxing experience. We loved being across the from the beach. Also Andrea and Sam were helpful by giving us suggestions of where to eat and directions of how to get there. The three of them all went above and beyond their jobs to make our stay was an enjoyable time.

What I liked most about the property was that it was across the street from the beach. Took us 5 minutes or even less to get to the ocean. Also, for a last minute booking the room was at a great rate. Location isn’t far from HB or Balboa village. I would definitely book here again.

If you don’t like to hear the sound of cars zooming down the road, I would suggest not booking a room with the balcony. You would miss out on a decent view of the ocean, but if noise bothers you then avoid the balcony. I didn’t mind it and for a 1 night stay it was something I could deal with. Also, hallways could use a little bit of a carpet shampoo.

location was great, close to beach. I like how the towels are easy to get among other things. I didn't have issues with parking like others apparently had.

Not necessarily that I didn't like it but it does take some getting used to is the main reliance on the app to check in and out. It's easy to this is how most hotels will operate in the future and I know people like my parents that feel technology hates them will have a harder time adjusting to this style. But the front desk workers were great answering further questions.
