We had such a great time at the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach. It was a short birthday getaway celebration for my husband's 60th birthday. We were treated very professionally and kindly especially Mike at the front desk and Jason who made sure our stay was fantastic. Everyone at the Water Table bar and restaurant also made our dinner very delightful. Thanks to all the staff who made sure we were welcomed and comfortable. The surprise upgrade to the Presidential suite was a real treat! Thanks Hyatt!! We look forward to coming back again soon!

After our dinner at the hotel restaurant, we were looking forward to spending some time in the hot jacuzzi jet in our suite. Unfortunately, the jet didn't work. We had to call for maintenance late that night but they couldn't do anything about it. We did enjoy soaking in the tub (sans jets) to cap off the night for my hubby's 60th birthday. Thanks again Hyatt.

Its a beautiful place its very family oriented but also its a great place to go with friends.or a intimate setting for two.it has everything for all types of leisure.very beautiful place friendly service..and quick way to the beach

The only things I didn't like was the food court it wasn't super bad but the three places I went to were not that great no flavor in the food for the price.the Starbucks employees never called my name when they said they would when I went to the conter after waiting almost 15-20min for a frap my drink was just sitting there well the three employees were just standing there talking to each other. Letting my drink melt I was the only costumer waiting on a drink they could have told me..like miss your drink is ready but didn't I was in there view so they seen me sitting there with my young daughter waiting and never bothered to notify me it was ready

Our room was very spacious and had a beautiful view of the ocean/beach. We went in December, so it was way less busy and was very relaxing. The resort has many convenience like stores, restaurants and rentals available on site.

The staff were pretty nice, but when leaving we had a bad experience with our bell hop. He was very short with us and was not very friendly. Also, the room was larger but was a little dated and not kept up as well as I had thought. Also, every night the room next to us (it happened to be one of their suites) had large and loud parties in them. It was mostly bothersome when trying to get my children to fall asleep.

We stayed for two nights to celebrate our daughter's birthday and had a truly unforgettable experience. The front desk staff was incredibly kind – they upgraded us from a partial ocean view to a full ocean view room and even allowed a late check-out, which made our stay even more relaxing. The room was spacious, the ocean view and sunsets were breathtaking, and the surroundings were just beautiful. The staff was warm, attentive, and the food was excellent. We are already looking forward to coming back!

We're a family five holidaying in California for the first time. We chose Huntington Beach and the Hyatt Regency to conclude our final week having travelled in an RV from San Francisco to Los Angeles. The area is a little more chilled and relaxing than LA; plus the beach is enormous and really clean. The hotel was lovely - the rooms were large and inter-connecting which was really helpful. All the staff we spoke with were helpful and personable. The grounds and pool area were well maintained and cared for. Our last night was a Saturday, and returning to the hotel we experienced a live band at a party for all the guests. Great music and great vibes! Other than the cost of valet parking I absolutely recommend the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa at Huntington Beach.

My only gripe was the parking - at this price point I would expect overnight parking would be included, or at the very least, comparable to the public car park across the road ($54 per night vs $15 per night).

Rooms are getting a bit dated. Carpet in the common areas need changing. Breakfast options are limited.

At arrival we were not informed that there is a supervised parking lot at the beach - they told us there was only parking at the street. The receptionist was not helpful and said they had nothing to do with the valet service, which was totally overpriced. So we had to pay for overnight! This was NOT customer friendly at all. One night the only restaurant that was not fast food - had a private event - and we were not informed in advance.

Great location, food, rooms. The guy making omelets Wednesday morning approximately 10:30am, July 3rd did not seem happy or didn't feel like working, he wasn't friendly. Same goes for guy working luggage, bellhop, a little older than most guys working there, he had facial hair, mustache and goatee. He was NOT FRIENDLY, I wish I got his name...TERRIBLE SERVICE from him, not helpful. My wife asked him to move luggage so she could get to a bag, he refused, said he was too busy. I asked him to break a $100 bill an hour and a half later as I was leaving, he replied that it was a slow day and didn't have change to break $100. Thankfully, there was another guy who was VERY NICE other guy and he offered and did break my $100 bill as the UNFRIENDLY GUY walked away. I think the nice guys name was Ramiro...or something like that...it started with an R and was probably a little longer name than Ramiro...he was NICE! The timeline was about 5:30pm...approximately on Wednesday, July 3rd. Please respond with name of nice guy in Luggage and if you were able to identify not friendly help I mentioned. The expectation when we stay at a very nice hotel is the service ALL AROUND should be great...you all fell short this time and didn't exceed or even meet my expectations. Henry Aguirre

Loved the room, view, pool, food at pool and at restaurant, the restaurant right next to lobby. All were very nice with exception of two that I mentioned above. I'll definitely return and continue to share location with friends. I'm going to answer yes to meets expectations even though the two unfriendly colleagues DID NOT. Henry Aguirre

Staff was great. The hotel and location on the beach were excellent.

TV option for streaming was not an option for us who are tecnically challanged. The live TV option should have had a broaders channel selection, including Hallmark, considering the holiday season and the room price. The Water Shed was disappointing. Ser and staff were excellent, but the main course, Tiger prawns were tasteless. At those prices, that was not acceptable. The added service charge was not stated up front or justified.
