The beach decor and wallpaper in my room was fun. The room was functional but nothing high end. My view of the ocean from my room was nice. There was a patio with tables just outside that had a great view of the ocean. I think there are only nine rooms. When you have your shades open other guests can see in your room as they walk by on the single walkway. I got used to that pretty quickly because I wanted the shades open to see the ocean view. As a single woman traveling alone, I appreciated that the check-in office was right by my room so I felt safe. There was no breakfast, but coffee was out from 8 to 11 in the morning. I really appreciated the private parking underneath the building. This hotel is one that I remember growing up in Huntington Beach. It is located on PCH just a few blocks from the pier. You are close to shops and restaurants. It is a quaint and rustic hotel and a good value.

Great location across from beach and just down from pier, shopping and restaurants. Room had 2 beach chairs, umbrella and towels. Plus they had a lot of communal toys, boogie boards, etc. Fun themes for the rooms. Hard to tell from website what rooms could see the ocean. We originally booked #7 but the window looked at the office. Thankfully room 2 was open. Could see the ocean and right across from the deck which was great to sit out on.

It needed a deep clean and surfaces were lightly dusty. Was not a deal breaker as beds and bathroom were clean. Would also be nice to have a coffee pot.

Definitely exceeded my expectations. I lucked out and got a room overlooking the street, which was an incredible bonus. There was also a nice shared patio to hang out on prior to the event i was attending so me and my date were able to relax a bit after our drive and watch the sunset. Staff was also super helpful upon arrival.

Parking seemed limited. We were directed to use a handicapped space as it was the last available. It wasn't a problem though.

Great location! Right across the road from the beach and just a few minutes walk to the pier. The shared outdoor area gave us a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset. The room was cool with surfing pics all over the wall. There was coffee available right outside our room and next to the reception in the morning. The staff were so helpful and obliging, and let us leave our luggage with them. There’s free parking. I’d stay there again.

A little traffic noise in the morning, but not too excessive.

It is very close to the beach and Main Street. The deck has a great view of the ocean and there are sand toys & boogey boards that are available to use for the guests. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I know it’s a bit unavoidable lately in California but there are a few homeless people wandering a block or two away. They weren’t too bothersome when we visited but it’s concerning when walking to and from the hotel late in the evening.

This location was fantastic. Walkable to beautiful beach and the Huntington pier. The parking was included. The staff was very nice. The theming was very fun and it was nice to have the little shared balcony out front to enjoy the views.

You can tell it's a renovation of an old hotel and it shows a bit. It was clean and everything was workable, but it is a patch job on some things. This wouldn't make me not stay there because it was very comfortable and perfect for our needs, but just to be aware, there's a little roughness around the edges.

This was right across from Huntington Beach. Super low key and the staff were the most friendly and helpful people I have met in a long time. I would definitely recommend this place for travels on a budget.

We really did have any problems with the hotel. It’s older but well maintained. If you are on a budget or want to be super close to the beach, this place is great.

Location was fantastic, staff were super friendly and helpful, we loved our stay here! We stayed in room 5, the surf room and it was great. The outdoor porch area was perfect for sunset, and we loved that the property had bodyboards / buckets and spades / deck chairs to borrow for the day for free!

We arrived very late - after the office was shut, but as we had informed them of this they made arrangements for us to get a key. This was really appreciated as we were tired and just wanted to sleep! The location was great - close to everything. There was plenty of free parking spots right on site. There was a nice little terrace outside. The staff were very chill, friendly and responsive.

The room wasn't the largest and it was a bit cold in the bed furthest from the heating - but we were only there for one night so it wasn't really an issue.

Communicated well. I arrived late and they still met me and escorted me to the room and showed me how the lights worked and where to get needed items from nearby 7/11. Room 1 for me was the best because of its beach view and size in the corner and also was very clean and bathroom looked updated as well and very comfy bed. Small ref and microwave plus small table with 2 chairs and good cable TV fast wifi close to the beach. Checked all boxes. Minor quibble no free breakfast included but otherwise will definitely stay again and recommend if going to the area. Enjoyed my stay.

Lighting could be better. Carpet may need a good cleaning as well.
