There wasn’t any breakfast included. Coffee only

Had 2x extra charges to my Credit, 1x I can justify for payment of early check in but the other will need to be investigated by Citibank on my behalf as it was already prepaid for in May. I have got his a lot of times after checking out of hotel across US they put extra charges on your cards ?? I’m looking into it.

The first day or two I thought I've come to the worst hotel (!) (and it might be), but 3 days in, I started thinking I'm very happy with the selection. You can definitely make things work here. Definitely worth $55 a night. 4 days in, and I felt at home! Some concrete examples: Terrible design, for example you can't use the bathroom without having to be jammed by the closing bathroom door! Or the intense squeaking of the floors means you should be lucky your neighbors aren't feeling particularly romantic! Some good sides: In the heart of the action, location-wise; Very cheap for a great stay 🙌🙏

This is a great hotel in terms of value for money. Luxury it isn’t, but if you want that, then you absolutely need to pay more. For the price, you won’t beat The Mosser. The location is superb. You have all the amenities of SF on your doorstep or accessible by the excellent public transport network. You can walk to the Alcatraz Departure Quay in 35 minutes. Macy’s, Bloomingdales, Union Sq are 5 minutes away. If you’re coming from the airport, the Bart train stops 2 minutes away at Powell St and costs ten dollars. The room was bigger than I expected. I had a great nights sleep every night for the 5 nights I stayed. The bed is comfortable and the shower nice and hot. They provide dressing robes and toiletries. The hotel puts on unlimited free coffee every morning between 6.30 and 9, and that saved me a few dollars. Reception is well staffed and staff are helpful.

The one lift does get very busy, but I never had to climb the stairs. I would have liked a safe in the room. Daily room service is not provided - you need to request if you want housekeeping or top up items, such as loo roll.

safety is number one anywhere and the Mosser Hotel, I felt, was extremely safe. The location was great, the room was very clean as were the restroom facilities. The phrase 'you paid what you get for' was not applicable here, for you get more than what you pay for. I've stayed in similar hotels (the shared bathroom) type and they generally fall short of expectations or you do get what you paid for. The Mossan Hotel exceeded my expectations in all areas, from having attentive staff to the cleanliness of the facilities. Great Job staff!! I appreciated the free coffee in the morning, it was great!! At times I felt part of the family there, for the staff was very caring, they are wonderful individuals. This is a gem in San Francisco. The location is perfect for sightseeing and public transportation is nearby. There was plenty of hot water in the showers (and baths). The cleaning staff keeps the place in perfect condition. I will stay here again.

STAFFS 10/10: Ms Virgie, Ms Criselda and Sir Lito were the best hotel reception staffs I have ever met in 50 countries I’ve been. They are super friendly, efficient, kind and very helpful. They provided all my needs as a guest, ensured my room is all good and even helped me to cure my infected gums by giving me salt and instructing me to gargle it regularly with warm water (thank you so much). They’ve been very generous in sharing their insights on how to make the most out of my SFO experience. They provided excellent customer service and even went the extra mile. I will be forever grateful to them. I am definitely booking their hotel again when I’m back and I will recommend to all my friends. LOCATION 10/10: Best Location, at the center of the city, just across Target, the shopping malls, Walgreens, pharmacy and restaurants are all just few steps away. Accessible to everything and some tourist sites are walking distance and the rest are highly accessible with subways, bus and cable cars which are all just few steps away from the hotel like 2 mins walk. COMFORT 10/10: Complete with everything, a quiet room with comfortable bed that made me sound asleep for all my 6 nights there. The Pilipino Reception Staffs assigned me at the corner room which is very quiet. Thank you. CLEANLINESS 10/10: Everything is super clean. WIFI 10/10: very strong & stable VALUE FOR MONEY 10/10: super worth it with its great location, great staffs and nice room.

All experiences I had were all great…

Before heading to this facility, I never could have imagined the perfect location of this hotel. Walkable from Union Square, not in the busy streets and near to all the required buzz and fuzz of the town, I am super impressed and surely recommend. And I must say the front desk team of this hotel is super friendly and accommodating. I am super impressed, and coming back soon... 🫰

It's budget hotel... I honestly have not expect much, but they do the best

This is a very good budget hotel. You do not get the amenities that you would normally get in a more traditional hotel, such as: full bathroom in your room, mini fridge, microwave, A/C or even a continental breakfast. That was not a problem for me. I got a very low daily rate, saving me 50% of what I’d normally have to spend on any other hotel in downtown San Francisco. The money I saved was put towards experiences outside the hotel like tours and restaurants. I’d stay here again!

It would have been nice to be able to crack open my window as it was kind of stuffy in the room.

I think this hotel is a good value for the money. The rooms are tiny, but you don't really need more than a bed, lighting, and a bathroom. My room was clean and for the most part very comfortable. While I was there the workers of the Marriott across the street were picketing as a part of the collective bargaining process. It was very loud, however, from my room on the 5th floor I wasn't bothered by the chanting and drumming because I hardly heard it. The front desk staff was efficient and reasonably, but not overly, friendly. (I hate over-the-top verbal greetings.) Lastly, the location is fabulous: 1/2 block from Market Street, two blocks from the Museum of Modern Art and other cultural venues, great restaurants nearby, lots of mass transit just steps away, a Trader Joes almost next door for groceries, and a multi-screen theater just a block away.

The only problem I had with the room is that the overhead fan didn't work. This was not a huge problem because I was there in November. However, I sleep hot, and would have liked the fan, even during my winter stay. Others might not have this need. Also the pillows were a tad bit hard, but again, I like feather/down pillows and most modest hotels don't have them.

This is an old hotel, unique and eccentric. It lacks some modern features of cookie cutter corporate chain hotels --no mini bar or coffee maker in the room--but it is impeccably clean, the staff is great and the location is convenient. There is some street and noise from the hallway.

Excellent location, a one-minute walk to all kinds of transport (BART, subway, bus, tram, historic cable car). Major shopping malls are literally just around the corner. Trader’s Joe is just next door. My room was on the 6th floor, overlooking the street and I had no issues with outside noise at all. The room was lovely - light and clean. The stuff is approachable and nice.

Just please note there is no kettle or coffee machine or fridge in the room but they serve complimentary coffee every morning in the restaurant.
