Great location, felt quite safe compared to other locations in the street where i've stayed in the past. The room had everything I needed, the ceiling fan was a great help, my windows was facing a very thin backyard corridor with machinery/ventilation which is both a good and a bad thing : Less noise from the street but not much light/airflow

The room was a bit dusty and the bathroom didn't smell very good (although clean) and the desk was leaning forward so a lot of things would fall off. Wish there was an option to keep luggage before/after your stay

Central location. Accessible to Bart , Walgreens, trader's joe. Walking Distance to fisherman's wharf, China Town, embarcadero. Clean and equipped pantry

Mattress Abit soft.

Amazing value for money. The hotel is quite basic, but clean and very centrally located. I would definitely stay again.

For the price there is nothing to complain about.

Great location! Close to public transportation, coffee shops, CVS, and in walking distance from China Town and Little Italy. But most of all, felt safe walking around at night. Staff/manager was very accommodating about the fact that our flight was delayed and we now had to spend our first night in a different city and we arrived a day later. We were stressed about this delay and we xtra money we had to spend and the way they handled it really made us happy and took the stress away. Comfortable bed, hot shower was good.

Remote didn’t work and never received a new one, but that’s a minor thing.

Loved the location it was perfect! Room was clean and nicely finished.

There is no staff on site and you have to check in around the corner at another hotel

As far as location is concerned it was great. Close to the tram terminal, subway and buses stopping outside the hotel. If you are into shopping it is all on your doorstep. The brew bar attached to the hotel is fantastic, both the beer and food are excellent. The onsite laundry was great, and the kitchen gave it the feel of a hostel not a hotel.

As with any city centre hotel it was noisy, and noisy on a par with New York. There were no hotel staff on site apart from cleaners in the morning, which meant if you wanted any local information you had to go there or to the information kiosk near the subway. Reception is in the Stafford Hotel on Powell Street, around the corner. As far as the city is concerned be prepared to dodge the homeless and the drugged up walking dead. However, beggars aren't a problem.

Room was clean and decent. I had a comfortable stay. The location was very central, and the security with double locked doors at the entrance seemed decent. There were large windows and had good ventilation and also a heating source.

I just wish there was a kettle or some basic utensil like glass or cup in the room. But the stay was overall comfortable. The room cleaning service was not available, and I hope there were directions how to dispose the waste, like my stay was almost a week long, and I could not wait till the end of my stay.

The room and location suited my needs perfectly.

Wow! The room was way better than I expected! The amenities, the cleanliness, the quietness. Location is awesome! And as a guest you are entitled to a free drink at the Bartlett bar (with a coupon). Loved everything about the room and the hotel. Will stay there again and have already recommended it to my friends!

Every morning at around 6 am the central heating made pretty loud noise, so it was like an alarm clock. I was awake by that time, so it was fun for me. But might be disturbing for others. Room 618, dear hotel managers, kindly fix. Besides that - just awesome!!!!

The hotel was great value. Rooms are a good size, clean and modern. Fairly basic but everything you need. Fridge in room after I asked for one. Laundry and kitchen facilities available if you need them, which was handy. Location was great, I was worried about the area being a bit rough but it was fine, it is close to some dodgy bits so careful which way you go when leaving the hotel. At check in we were given drinks vouchers for the bar downstairs which was a great micro brewery. That was a nice touch and the bar and beers were great. I’d 100% stay here again

Shower pressure wasn’t great but it was fine. I don’t really have any complaints thought, it was great.
