Ocean-facing rooms were very nice in the morning watching all the people passing by. We enjoyed playing pickleball on the Hilton courts. The front desk staff helped us with equipment rental and a reservation. Hilton staff recommended a restaurant for dinner that was walking distance and excellent. Enjoyed happy hour sangria on the front lawn.

The landscaping around our room's patio looked neglected.

Rooms, location, facility and customer service were very good. Parking in/out set-up was very good too.

One building not having an elevator for the second floor. Also, for some reason, the hotel's reservation system had my reservation system double-booked even though Booking.com had the one room booked correctly. I decided to keep the extra room. Very expensive for 2-nights, but the location plus it is graduation weekend for the local university drives the market so it was not unexpected.

The Hilton Santa Barbara was a beautiful place to stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We brought our bikes with us. It was nice to just head across the street to the beach bike path.

We were bummed (but understand Reno’s need to take place) to find out that the pool was under construction when we got there. I wish that would’ve been made known before booking. Although they did seem to give some good comps, which I believe were in exchange for the pool being closed. One other thing I would suggest is looking on the properties website to book a room and compare prices with Booking.com. After I finished booking, I realize I could’ve gotten it cheaper through the hotels website.  that was a disappointment, considering how much I booked through Booking.com

Room was great with a wonderful location near the pool. The grounds were quite pretty even after the drought and all the rain. My granddaughter used the pool and found it quite comfortable and it was big enough to get in a nice swim.

While the food is good, it is a bit over-priced. They did accommodate my granddaughter's fussiness and I was quite pleased with that. Your concierge should know a bit more about the area. We walked over to the zoo and were told we could not come in without a reservation. The concierge did not tell us this. We did not get in. The walk was nice though.

This property has an amazing ocean view. Lots of greenery. Super friendly staff. We brought our 2 large dogs and every single staff person made them welcome. Breakfast at the RoundHouse was very nice, option to eat outdoors on a covered patio so dogs could join. Great wall soundproofing. Very close to Arroyo Burro Beach (the dog beach) and the Douglas Family Preserve as well as the Cold Spring hiking trail.

I did not stay in the hotel. I made reservations; two rooms for three kids and two grandkids. They very much appreciated the hotel staff when help was needed. The swimming pool and facility were immaculate.

Two things: 1) costly - and this was not a weekend. 2) The reservation system sucks. Using some hired service made reservations a nightmare. At this time, I still do not know if the final bill will be $500 too high (due to errors on the hotel side).

Breakfast was good. Location was excellent.

We paid cash for dinner. The next morning at breakfast we were told they didn't accept cash. The next morning the Starbucks wouldn't accept cash either. We were confused. I spoke to two reservations clerks and they were also confused!

No breakfast was provided.

I was told on the phone by the hotel that my cat was welcome. Then after I paid, and drove 100 miles, I was told that cats aren't welcome That was disturbing. An "exception " was made, but that misinformation was very annoying. Pet friendly means all pets, right?

I liked the location and pool

Not enough seating by the pool … they have 3 large cabanas that nobody had rented took up a lot of space that could be used for guests There were multiple people, waiting for people to leave looking for pool chairs
