I loved the location of the room. Our balcony view was of the boardwalk rollercoasters. Lovely people riding their bikes , walking the town. The beach was so close, downtown was close enough for us to catch a quick uber or walk. Overall GREAT LOCATION .

Everything was wonderful! Of course there are loud cars driving by but hey nothing to complain about. I was able to sleep and get the rest I needed when I arrived back to the hotel .

The room is bigger than most other Santa Cruz hotel rooms and having a balcony is so nice.

The elevator could use a thorough cleaning as well as all the walls, everywhere, hallways & bathrooms especially though.

Good value for the proximity of the area, we had a 3 month old and we needed the refrigerator and microwave. Very big balcony, we could see the boardwalk from our room. Ample parking

The owners were so nice and we actually got a great room with a outdoor patio and just 2 blocks from the main attentions we really enjoyed staying here

I like the great location and happy to support an independent hotel as opposed to a corporate chain hotel.

The walls have not been cleaned in 900 years. Seriously, get some bleach, water and clean the walls inside the rooms, they are disgusting.

The room was presentable upon arriving. There was a smell to the room, but I randomly had air freshener in my car that helped mask the smell. Otherwise, the room was great! We loved sitting on the balcony and relaxing. Loved the location to the boardwalk (about a mile or so), so we were able to walk there and back. Very friendly staff!

There was a off smell in the room.

It was close to the boardwalk 10 minute walk. There’s a liquor store, little Caesar, Mexican restaurant and a taco truck.

Rooms are comfy and spacious

Great location- didn't have to drive to boardwalk/beach and a very nice 10 minute walk. The couple who run this place are delightful and efficient. Room was exceptionally clean and parts of it were upgraded with apparent components of the room that were still being worked on, ie molding in the bathroom and fridge that needed new door face. We will definitely stay here again as it was quiet and we got great sleep!

Room was nice. Clean and comfortable. Decent views from balcony. Slept really well over all until morning traffic began, that was ok because I wanted to be up enjoying road trip.

Morning traffic was noisy though I left the sliding door open a bit. I was on third floor with nothing near the balcony so felt safe doing so. Might not have noticed if I had used air conditioning with sliding door closed.
