Sam and his staff was very hospitable. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it fit out family of 6 very comfortable. We even had a working fridge with a freezer. I even had free parking. We will definitely be staying there again. Thank you Sam.

I read alot of bad reviews and was skeptical about staying here. The only negative experience was waiting 30 minutes after check in Time to get settled in the room. Sam was good about letting us check out 30 minutes late with no issue. The bed was comfortable and the AC was cold. And the staff was good. I did see the were doing renovations and installing new furniture but so are all the other Hotels in that vicinity. We were so close to the Boardwalk. It was a good experience and comfortable stay overall.

This has always been one of my favorite spots when I come to Santa cruz, it's literally steps away from the boardwalk and Beach and there's great places to eat around here such as Main Street Cafe and the Picnic Basket. You can see the rides from the windows of your room. I'm guessing the building itself was probably built in the 60s or '70s but it's always been a nice spot with very basic amenities. The owners have been doing a lot of upgrading & our room had new shower, mirror and sink, also the lighting is new. The curtains, towels and bedding were nice. Very friendly staff and owner. He let us park in the lot even though our room wasn't going to be ready for a few hours so we didn't have to find Beach parking. There was a nice flat screen TV as well. But we didn't spend much time in the room, not with the beach & boardwalk right there.

The only thing I didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer, had to get home.

Location is really great, very short walk to board walk and theme park. Parking was plentiful. Staff was very helpful with sorting out a small payment issue with our booking. Room was a good size

Sam was awesome! He really looks out for his guests. The property is older and in need of renovation but the bed was brand new and comfortable and the TV was brand new. This place is literally right across from the boardwalk next to Boardwalk Bowl which makes it easy to get to and from all the fun! Will definitely stay there again.

We liked having a small fridge & microwave in the room. I like to bring my own drinks & keep them cold in the fridge especially on a hot summer day when we’re out & about for hours! The microwave was convenient for warming up left overs or my instant coffee in the morning!

The sink was broken & leaking, but they had it repaired immediately during the afternoon so it was fixed by the time we came back from the beach!

Great customer service. Very friendly staff and great location. We don't care about fancy places to stay in so this was perfect. We just wanted to be walking distance to the beach. We didn't have toilet paper but when I asked the front desk, he was quick to respond. I would stay here again

I think it's the best place to stay for the price. At the bottom of the santa cruz beach and 2 minutes walking distance to the amusement park, the location is very nice, the room is very nice, the bed is good, the shower is nice. And finally, I would like to thank the lady in the lobby, she was very interested in her interest, I would definitely recommend this place.

Everythings Good And Acceptable…

The location was great, the floores needed cleaning . The windows had moister in between the double pain glass so you really couldnt see out side. Overall it was great. It was a good location.

Location is prime. They had a microwave and refridgerator in the room, (which is noted on the website for ammenities) Price was reasonable.

Parking...but the owner did help me park as it feels like you are on a downward path.

I loved the location. We traveled with our grandchildren and it great walking distance to and from the boardwalk. We rented a van and it was parked at the hotel. The owner Was great and made sure no one vandalized it. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
