The showers were FANTASTIC!!! For some reason they had double shower heads. At first i thought it was just a hand held head alternative, but it was a totally different shower head. The pressure was brilliant, and totally unexpected. I would LIVE in that shower for hours if I could. If I head back to SC for the night, I will be back. Room 222 if they all don’t have that feature. The hot tub was hot and clean as well, liked that they had towels available at the poolside.

Little dated, the parking lot was a little cramped, but will be back again!

The location of this hotel is great. It’s an easy walk to the wharf and other locations in Santa Cruz. There is a parking spot guaranteed for each room, and the value is good considering location with parking. Room was clean, air was not overly dry or damp which was very pleasant.

The property is showing its age and there were a few minor things that were not in top shape. Some of the tiles around the toilet were loose/broken and gave a little when stepped on. A few minor stains on some of the linens and lamp shade. TV remote had some sticky residue left over from a sticker or something. But the location and comfort of the room really made up for the minor failings.

Clean room, decent rate and I felt very safe as a solo female traveler

We couldn’t believe it was only a 5 minute walk to the beach. We swam in the sea! And the motel had a self service laundromat. We were a week in since our last wash load so this was great. Pleasant pool area with seating was another bonus. And before check in we parked right up at the end of the wharf pier for a very reasonable fee and had a good look around.

Slightly dated decor/furnishings but the beds were comfortable and clean and all one could want.

Fantastic location- walked to downtown shops and restaurants and close walk to the beach and the wharf to watch the seals. Easy to find BCycle bikes close by too. Great pool and jacuzzi, friendly desk clerk with great recommendations for restaurants and attractions.

Everything was great for us. If you need bright bathroom lighting and a magnified make up mirror this isn’t the place for you.

That there was a night window so that we could check-in late. Parking pass was provided to park on the property

Could hear the neighbors moving around next door. The door leading into the room didn't quite sit right allowing air for around the door and permitting noise from outside. The alarm clock had a 6:00am alarm that neither myself or my girlfriend had set. Not sure who set it.

they were so nice even after i effectively SHATTERED A BOTTLE OF WINE ALL OVER THE FLOOR. they gave us stuff to help them clean it up and were super sweet about it.

nothing! i dropped my wine and my partner had a cold so we probably should have packed it up and gone home but at the very least they were so kind and the rooms were cozy.

Service is great and available 24hrs. No problems getting anything we asked for. Parking was good and didn't have to hunt for or wait on any parking close to room. When ready for maid service it was fast. Decent place, decent price. Great location to park and forget about driving for any needs or wants.

Not much to gripe about. Any minor flaws didn't make a difference in our stay.

Very comfortable rooms, nice location. Our room overlooked the pool, which was being used by everyone! The pool closed right on time, and there was no issues with noise after the pool hours. We were on the 2nd floor and we did not hear any noise from the rooms overhead.

Not very welcoming. You do not enter a small office to check in, you walk around a little corner to a small window to be checked in. Unfortunately it was quite chilly due to the evening ocean wind. The young man that checked us in didn’t do anything wrong, but he didn’t smile at all, didn’t welcome us and overall just was not very pleasant.

It was in a good location and you could walk to many places.

The dog area. I know it’s not their fault but too many people never cleaned up after their dog. There was poop everywhere. We ended up walking our dog to other areas. She is only 5 pds so we had to be careful where she went.
